Katherin tried to follow the conversation but she couldn't really contribute. She had never actually read a book. There was no way for her to learn. She sighed. She hated being so stupid. She wasn't going to be much help to the group. She was too far behind.

Kiiros felt like he was in sunlight all of a sudden. "What do you think you're doing?"

Ryouko then looked around, before he pulled a small piece of stone from arena floor and rubbed his thumb across the surface, as if he had done so before. He winded the wire around it and then pushed the blood into it, like water to a rock. Tiny cracks began to spread through the rock, red in coloring. Then the rock broke into tiny grains of rock, running through the blood.

Forcible Erosion.

Jen stood up herself. She really wanted to hit him. She couldn't believe he would say that, her hands curled into fists and shaking slightly.

The anger within her was building. "Do you know what happens to people who stay in the sun to long?" She said in a deadly serious tone.

"Radiation through light doesn't affect me. Especially sunlight. I'm not too sure what you're trying to do here, but maybe you should calm down?" Kiiros really never knows when he upsets people when he's just talking casually, so he's not too certain what he did.

Jen took her shaking hand and put it on Veronica's shoulder.
"Don't. He's not worth it," she said, her voice icy.

Kiiros insolence was infuriating. "What about microwaves? Not to much of those in sunlight, and they cook real well." The small gnawing feeling that he was not a pure ass was there, but largely ignored.

"Um..." He decided to try and pretend to be threatened since he wasn't really sure what else to say to her. 'She doesn't really seem to fully understand my mutation and I don't feel like explaining....' he could swim in lava and be perfectly fine. Anything that gives heat he is immune to, it's the cold that makes him feel like he's burning.

Ryouko then stood up and pulled his headphones off, walking to where he had heard the commotion in the first place. Ignoring it was hard enough now. As he neared them, Kiiros spoke. And Ryouko didn't even know what was going on exactly, so he watched, his blood wire coiled around his wrist.

"Let me guess, you also think what happened to me was my fault?" She snapped, fed up with Kiiros.

"'Um' what? Huh? WHAT!" Veronica blustered, getting more aggravated and indignant at Kiiros' words.

Kiiros felt pretty confused at the hostility out of no where. 'Wow this is a real sensitive subject. I only said one sentence.... actually no this tends to happen more often than I like to believe.' He looked to Veronica. "If you're trying to tell Jen that it's your fault for what happened to you, then I don't understand why you'd be so aggressive to me for trying to help you convince her about that same thing." He honestly thought he was trying to help out Veronica when he told Jen that, what if Veronica was right that it's her fault. He then, looking really peeved, responded to Jen. "If you don't think it was your fault then maybe it wasn't. If you do think it was then perhaps it was, jeez I don't know, make up your mind, I don't know what you want to hear me say!"

Jen curled up her gloved fist and punched Kiiros in the jaw hard, the force of the blow knocking him down.
"If you're smart, you'll stay down and shut up," she snarled.

Ryouko stood in front of Kiiros, strangely, confused. The punch was enough for him, though. They didn't need to fight here. It was just a stupid misunderstanding.

"Enough."

Ryouko spoke, his voice low, as the blood around his wrist uncoiled, like strands of hair, seeming to be sharp. "There is no reason to exchange blows that I've heard. If you don't like each other, deal with it. Fighting is pointless."

His eyes were narrowed, bloodshot, as he spoke. He eyed the three of them, Kiiros over his shoulder of course. Honestly. What did they want to accomplish with this?

Veronica was seething. "Ry, I barely know you, that is why I am warning you. You didn't hear what he said, and that is why that punch isn't even close to what he deserved at this moment." Her eyes fiercely trained on Ry.

Kiiros wasn't expecting to be punched twice in one day. It probably would've hurt more without the glove but it still hurt. He looked up at her from the floor, noticing in his peripheral one of the guards coming towards them, probably to see whatever's going on. He gave an agressive look before standing up, rubbing his jaw with one hand. He honestly thought these people had a death wish of some sort. If they weren't being watched under rules he wouldn't hesitate to try and kill her for that. He already had a slight aura of fire around him. His emotions tended to affect his powers, making it very obvious when he's angry. He just tried to focus on controlling himself. 'I swear, one of these days I might just set her eyes on fire.'

"...Who's Ry?" Ryouko asked, his eyes focused on Veronica in confusion. Who was she even talking about? Ryouko scratched his head softly. No clue. But if it was that bad..."Just walk away next time. That's better for everyone. And if he talks crap afterwards, I'll speak with him...though how much good that does...I dunno." He said, as he narrowed his eyes in concentration. "This entire thing just seemed idiotic. How old are we?"

"Ryouko, leave now. You don't understand what he said or what any of this is about. I MAY explain later, but for now? Let...it..go." Veronica's resolve was in flux with Ryouko's questioning.

Ryouko sighed, as she said this. He clearly wasn't in a position to question her but he said this.

"You could follow what you just said and let it go. You're older than I am, Veronica. Yet to me...this is all pointless. Why not just walk away and not talk to him? It wouldn't be...hard." He said, his arms crossing as the blood wound around his wrist once more. He shook his hair out of his eyes, speaking again. "He might not have meant what you thought. He might have actually been trying to help you from what I just heard. I understand a lot more than people give me credit for."
