"That is hilarious! I am just imagining their faces!" Veronica laughed She looked over at the fight to see it had ended. The fight wasn't overly intriguing, so she missed some of it.

Hearing the guards, Wes picked himself up and looked at David, giving him a nod before going to take his seat and joining the others. His body went back to normal but started to heal itself. "Well...that was fun."

"I wonder how my people are doing. Most of them live in a real shelter or rent some basement now... wait a minute, do you mean 'see' in some kind of revenge way?" Going on a Kill Bill-esk revenge quest would be fun, even though Veronica only knew the movie through stories from some of the older people she lived with on the streets.

"Why would I do that? She was like a mother to me," she said.

"Its ok," she said, trying to sound calm.

Veronica clenched her fists and let out a deep sigh. "It will be fine, I will calm down, but I just... you know what happened to you? Take that but make it 4 grown men when you are 15 and in some dark room you don't know with them chanting some weird cult shit." Veronica looked off and clamped her eyes shut. She was surprised at how fast she shifted mood.

"I didn't think you'd worked out what happened to me," she whispered, "And I'm sorry that happened to you. Nobody should have to go through that."

Veronica felt bad about assuming what happened, though it was the logical conclusion of evidence. Deep breaths coupled with some mental techniques helped sooth her. "Thanks but it was my fault. My protective nature is the entire reason it happened." The emotional part of V's brain began to shutdown and the logical part took over.

Jen punched Veronica's shoulder, hard.
"Don't you ever say or think its your fault. Its not. Its the damn assholes who did it. I've been down that path. And its not pretty," she said, sounding a little angry with Veronica.

Ryouko walked in silence, flicking through different tunes and songs. He quietly began to hum along, making a thin wire from the orb of solid blood that he had. Sitting, against the wall, he shaped a bulbous barb on the end of the thin wire, spinning it in front of him silently.

Veronica started giving doses of UV to Kiiros as she arose. "But it entirely is! Every step of the way was me!" She nearly shouted at Jen. "And Kiiros? I swear I..."

"How could you say that? Do you have any idea what its like to go through that?" She said, her voice filled with surprise and anger.
