Kiiros covered his mouth with a snort and giggle. He had a very immature mind.

"You sure about that? I've managed to survive all this time with no help at all. If anything...my abilities helped me as if it has it's own mind...." he responded to the girl. Then he thought about it...his power didn't save him from being brought into this place. Giving a sigh after a moment thinking about it. "What's your name, girl?" still standing by the wall.

"The name is Veronica. I have the power to control wavelengths of energy around me. And how about you?"

His powers did a whole lot to save him from this veronica thought to her self.

Jen shrugged.
"It just tastes like anger to me. I haven't had other food before, remember. Although... The sensation that it feels like is burning. Fire, lapping underneath the skin," She said, "As for you, you tasted of happiness. You were happy about what you were doing. It's more like a warm water on your skin, lapping at it. Like being in a swimming pool."

Kiiros smiled. "That wouldn't have anything to do with my ability to control fire, would it?" He realized neither of these guys knew what his power was, he wasn't very open about it. "Or have you tasted anger before?"

"Trust me, you don't want to. Some of them still 'taste' disgusting, however many times you've had them," She said, answering Kiiros's question at the same time.
She flashed a glare at him, as if to say you're not special.

"I'm Wesley....but I go by Wes." he said still standing by the wall. "My ability....I can adapt to survive...." he said looking away.

Kiiros thought they were all being so boring and decided to go bother one of the guards.

This guy seems more anti-social than Jen somehow. He probably hasn't had a good life and doesn't trust people, totally acceptable.

Damien digged this guy, although he was kind of quiet. "Yo man, I'm Damien, Electricity." He greeted back as he walked over. He offered a hand out. "It's nice to meet ya. Don't worry, I'm not going to shock you." He joked. It was nice, having a group of people that were just like him, apart from Kiiros who decided to walk away again. I swear his only source of entertainment is causing discontent for others...

Even though he wasn't up for conversation or even mingling with others, he looked over at this other boy who spoke up to him as well and even took it upon himself to come over to him. "Damien...right? Electricity huh.....even if you tried to shock me, it won't work..." he claimed with an expressionless face. It wasn't so much as cockiness or blind arrogance...he was speaking facts in his mind that he would not get hurt by him. He held his hand out to oblige in shaking Damien's hand

Jen walked over and smiled shyly.
"Hi. Im Jen, " she said.

"Well one aspect of energy wavelengths is that red-shifted light/energy helps cells heal quicker, I can heal a lot of damage with that. There is also the small fact of trying to not die in this place." Veronica said as Damien approached Wes.

She thought about staying with Katherin in case Kiiros came back, but decided she would be fine and went over to join Damien, Wes, and Jen.

Damien gripped Wes's hand and shook it before letting go. "Well, either way, it's still nice to meet ya Wes." he replied. Damn, there was still a lot of waiting. They had to be gearing up some kind of trick. Well, maybe Damien could go talk to that Kiiros kid a little, see what his game was. Damien walked away from the group. "Excuse me." He added as he walked to an open bit in the starting area that was away from the main group. He then called out to the red head. "Yo! Kiiros, right? Can I talk to you for a minute, alone." He asked as politely as possible. Damien was still a little suspicious and really wanted to work him out.

"I am going to test something quickly." Veronica said before using her power to create a few bright flashes, saying "come here" in Morse code. "Just seeing if they can read messages I send in this manor."

Kiiros was currently busy having an argument with one of the doctors. "YOU said this was for research purposes only. If you can't get me something to drink then maybe I should tell your boss you've been writing a little more than just 'research' about the ladies here. How about I teach you some manners myself?"

"I see....I don't think I've ever had to heal but maybe once or twice...but that's cool. He said when explaining how she used her power." Still looking a little cautious but willing to open up a little. He never ran into another mutant or...more or less remember running into another.

While shaking his hand, Wes gave a nod "Same..." he responded. A little curious, he was looking forward for Damien to show his ability so to show off his own but being in this facility, seems they'll have plenty of time to see what he could do.

Then came another female....kinda reminded him of himself...she looked shy and not very social like himself but he spoke "Sup..." he simply said "I'm Wes..." he looked away for a moment being silent but his eyes shifted back to her "So what can you do?"
