Glancing at the two that were engulfed in conversation, Eden found herself looking back at the vault. The male who had a strange choice of words was a bit too close to her sister for her liking. Yet a smirk found it's way to her features when she saw the red head back a bit and Chase throwing his head back, probably in laughter.
"He's the one in charge, though I have a feeling he's not the most intelligent." She couldn't help but recall the idle threats he gave her or the fact that he had someone follow her. He was a male that probably had more things given to him compared to others.

Still he was a source of caps, and they had to get through him to get to the vault. Looking back at the woman she sighed. "Can she walk?" She already felt the annoying twing of rawness in the back of her throat, too much conversation was a bad thing it seemed.

10 miles from Swans Quarter

"We're almost to the Vault!" Rex said to his men they were tired and sweaty from crossing rivers and streams to get where they were going. All while Rex had not even a single sweat droplet on him has they began to pick up pace. "We are in Crimson Wing territory they have Vertibirds and bombers still working around here so whatever you don't start a firefight...yet we pay the tolls if they ask and obey the laws until we get to the Vault. We should be their by tonight and once we open the vault this Wasteland is mine." He said walking on the trail while the men behind nodded in growled in agreement.

Near Vault 33

"I ain't paying no damn two times! I will give you the 1,000 caps promised and I will keep the workers another day to help the lifting and give ya what ya need but thats it. I think its fair!" Preston said to them. As two of his men were behind him holding M4 Carbines in agreement with Preston's comment.

A low whistle came from the woman, arms crossed she looked around only to find that she was in a pit full of trigger happy soldiers. "Wow, you are indeed the greedy one. I simply stated who they were, didn’t say nothen bout payment. I originally got word that it was 200 caps but I'll take 1,000 off your hands."

A yawn escaping her Chase found himself shaking his head. Aurora never really been in this kind of situation but even when shes stuck in a chair with no where to go he had to admit she was holding herself up aright. Cracking her neck she looked back at the male. "So, as I just said, and please listen this time because I'm serious, this is important. Have you found any weakness in the vault, any marks of previous attempt to break it, is she melted in areas, whats her status? And do you have the ability to spare a few people that can trustfully hold her up while we keep fuago running."

The woman blinked at the others, eyes lingering for a moment on the woman in the wheelchair. You didn't see that every day.. wait.. you didn't?? She squeezed her eyes together, again trying to jog her memory... but nothing.. only the void of nothing.

And then.. vault thirteen. Vault thirteen? The name sounded familair. but that was about it.

Blinking at the newly introduced Reese, the woman smiled. "Well.. most recently.. bandits." She tapped her head. "Before that though? Nothing. Blank slate." Might as well tell the truth. No point in hiding the fact she didn't know anything.. because it would surely come out in conversation sooner or later. Her eyes flicked up to the commotion by the vault and then back to Reese, a smirk stretching across her face. "I wish i was bad at bleeding. It would make the cuts heal a little faster.. clots and such." She stared at him intensely. "So.. where exactly is Vault thirteen located?" Maybe a bit more information about where she was would help?

"We have found no one has been trying to get her open anytime soon. Ole Linden found a small crack about foot or so long on her left side near the second 3. Other then that nothing else this here vault is strong and probably wasn't been open since it happened since the metal is all melted together I think. Don't worry miss we Crimson Wings have got a lot of spares for you if this thing ain't working and we have our mechanics that have to be careful if they are working on the Birds near the airfield. So yes we can help." He said reaching out his hand for a handshake.

“Well at least you survived it, had a run in with some bandits myself yesterday then later they showed up and attacked the town we came from as well as a group of raiders and a beast, that was pretty hectic.” He smiled to her then added, “Well sounds like a case of amnesia, sort have that myself, all I really know is that I think I was with the NCR and my name of course.” He found her company to be pleasant and she seemed nice enough.

He couldn't help but chuckle at her next comment, “Yes well you probably bleed just the right amount.” He joked to her before looking back at the commotion once more, Glancing at Eden's comment he responded, “Yeah, I think so.” Looking back to the woman, “Are you able to walk? If you have no where else to go, I don't think the others would mind you tagging along with us.” Reese offered, not really declaring himself the group leader, he just felt it wouldn't be right leaving someone injured and in an amnesiac state all by themselves.

He glanced over at Eden, “Will you be okay with her joining us?” From the very short time he knew her, okay acquainted with her, he could tell she was protective of her sister, so he wouldn't be surprised if she had grievances with a stranger tagging along.

Raising a brow at the question all Eden had done was shrug, already moving away due to the idea that Aurora was in a situation that she didn't know of. With ease she went down the hill, leaning back using her boot to dig into the ground. "Your problem, not mine." Her voice even more raspy than usual she was already getting to the edge.
Yet the entire time her hand still rested at the hilt of her blade. It was a pretty obvious thing about her, anyone showing themselves as a threat would be cut down.

"It was really close. I think i was lucky to have them shoot only my arm." She stated. And then his comment about a name had her scrambling. OH MY GOD!! YOU DON'T KNOW YOUR OWN FREAKING NAME! she screeched mentally. 'calm down, calm down, maybe they won't even ask... or won't care?' Taking a breath, she combed her mind frantically, trying to change the subject. "Uh.. what exactly is the NCR?"

She moved towards him slowly, nodding. Then recoiling slightly as she made herself dizzy. "I'm good. Just need a little water and rest, and then i can be out of your hair.. and out.. to.. somewhere." Glancing at the other woman, she heaved a sigh of relief. Thank goodness. People who might be able to help.. Or at least Reese would. Because he was a doctor. But so was she.. right? RIGHT? OH GOD THINK OF A NAME A DAMN NAME NOW THINK!!! The image of the back of her dental floss drifted into her mind. "Crest." She blurted. "My name is Crest." OH MY GOD YOU IDIOT THAT'S NOT A NAME ITS A BRAND STUPID. But she couldn't think of anything else.. so.. Crest it was.

Reese couldn't help but smirk a little and shake his head, well at least it wasn't a no, though perhaps she was just tired from yesterday or didn't particularly care, either way, he didn't want to just leave the woman all on her own. “Yeah, our 'adventure',” He used air quotes for that word, “Ended up giving me a wound in my shoulder and ankle.” He spoke as he motioned to the spots he had been shot, “Though it was partially my fault.” He gently chuckled.

“Oh, the NCR is the New California Republic, they're set up in the west, I think I was with them for some time, all I have to really confirm it is my dog tags.” He responded, pulling the chain out from his shirt to show her.

When she mentioned that she was thirsty, he pulled out his canteen, offering it to her, “I don't have a lot in here, maybe half full, but you can have some if you'd like and don't worry about it, you don't seem like bad company.” He smiled to her. When she mentioned her name, he didn't really think it odd, plenty of people had odd names, he heard stranger than that, “Well I guess you do remember your name at least, that's a good start.” He didn't really mind if it was fake or not, she probably had her own story and whether she remembered it or not, he wouldn't try to pull information out of her, not that his gentle nature really allowed it, but she seemed a bit on edge as it was, so it was probably for the best.

“If you want, we can go over to the others now, your choice, I won't force you.” He smiled, pointing his thumb to the rest of the group talking to the man.

Looking back to Brick Aurora began to think. They had lot at there disposal it seems. "What do you think? test run first or figure out what we have to work with?" It was only right to ask, Brick knew what he was doing and she liked having a second mind's opinion on the matter here, he knew more than she did thats for sure.
yet seeing a hand offered to her she took it. Fuago was made for this exact reason, no reason to not turn her away. "Great, lets see what's on the other side. Name's Aurora."

Crest blinked slowly as Reese explained the New California Republic. "Oh... so they are a military group or something?" she asked, just to clarify. Seeing the canteen of water, Crest's face relaxed. "Oh gods thank you." She grasped the canteen and drank a long draught, slowly and steadily. if she drank too quickly, she might get a stomachache. Another fact she had no idea how she knew. Swishing the liquid around in her mouth for a moment, Crest swallowed and then flinched as he said something about her remembering her name. "Actually.. that's the name on the dental floss in my pocket." she admitted sheepishly. "But.. i figure.. i have to be named something right? So.. i guess.. i will train myself to answer to Crest." What if they found her name wasn't Crest, what if people showed up who knew her. Best to tell the truth to these people after all. After another long drought of water, where she swished it around in her mouth, Crest nodded, handing him back the canteen. "Thanks." She eyed the group, taking a nervous breath. "I.. yeah. i think i'm good."

He chuckled as he heard her explain her name, “Well, you seem nice enough, so I think that's the important thing, besides it's probably only temporary amnesia and your name will come back in a few days.” He took back his canteen, seeing that she was a bit nervous, “Hey, don't worry, they're pretty nice, well at least from the short time I've known them they've been nice to me for the most part, I'm sure they'll be the same with you.”

He soon started to make his way back to the group with her, curious as to who the man was that they were talking too, “So who's your friend?” He didn't really ask anyone specifically, more just trying to catch up on the situation at hand, glancing over at Crest just to see how she was doing, he couldn't help but think how her amnesia story was similar to his, save for the specifics of course.

Brick was standing with arms folded and a fist to his mouth in the classic thinker pose, pondering the best course of action. He noted Aurora shaking the man's hand, then outstretched his own to accept the stranger's greeting.

"Brick"

He heard Reese speaking behind him, so he cocked his head to address the medic.
"Didn't catch a name, but from what I gather he's in charge of this place"

He wandered back over by Aurora and knelt to speak privately with her.
"How's this for a plan? We set up Fuago and give her a quick test run, just to get a sense of her cutting power. And then we take up residence in their workshop for a bit to see what they've got and to crunch some numbers on how long we'd need to run her versus how long we've actually got before she burns out. We'll figure out the best plan that way"

It was Eden who spoke when everyone was asking for the male's name, a small glint in the woman's eye as she stopped, standing near Aurora for a moment. "Andrew," voice cut short as always she leaned her head from side to side, cracks snapping through the air as she listened to the exchange.

Aurora though wheeled a little ways from her sister, listing to Brick she nodded her head at the offer. "Seems like that is the best course, Start off Next to the crack to see how she dose in unmarked areas. If shes too weak than we can see what they got, upgrade her power output and hope she has enough before she burns." Running a hand through her hair she sighed. "Lets just hope the guys we work with can actually follow instructions. Every second we have is gonna count, you do realize we mess up at all we'll loose our chance right?"

Nodding at Reese, she smiled. "You know.. just.. the last people i met tried to kill me is all." then she followed him back to the group, feeling slightly better now that she'd had a drink of water. Why wasn't she carrying a canteen? She made a mental note to grab one as soon as she could.

Staring at the large group before her, Crest was at a lost for what to do.. Introduce herself?? "Hey.. I'm... Crest." It still felt a little strange calling herself a brand, so she went about attempting to convince herself Crest was her actual name. It wasn't working so well. After failing to remember anything for the hundredth time since she'd woken up in the middle of nowhere, she focused on the group again. Okay... now what.. small talk? She didn't know anything.. so it wasn't like she could actually make small talk. So.. just stand there and listen then? Right?? Right. i am so lame.

She then just sat there.. listening as the people around her discussed all manner of confusing things. Honestly, at this point, it was like listening to them speak in another language. She was definitely the outsider here.

Brick nodded in agreement "This is gonna work. It has to. I think for this test run, we should have four people. Chase and someone else to actually hold her up and pull the trigger, you to fire up the Tesla Converter, maybe a fifth to stand by the vault door and let us know if and when we're through and I'll stand alongside her and examine everything that happens, so we don't waste power. I'll note every little click and whine she makes, and figure out if there are any flaws we need to correct before the main event."

He stood upright again and turned to speak with the leader.
"So listen, we wanted to get the weapon set up and give her a quick test run, to ensure its gonna cut all the way through the door" It hurt him deeply to have to refer to Fuago as simply 'the weapon' but he had to appear professional "The only real problem is there's a small chance, and we're talking microscopic here, but there's a chance that as soon as the trigger is pulled, she sets off an atomic explosion that turns everyone within 100 feet or so to ashes, so probably for the best if it's just me, her, and the couple of people we'll need to operate her. We just need a couple volunteers, either from our group or yours"

"Hopefully Chase can hold her, he was shot in the shoulder, but I'd feel better with you up there monitoring while I keep an eye on the power output on the tesla converter, seems you got the roles right. Anything to keep her from loosing power is going to help us a lot in the long run. Once we do it for real though, we're gonna have to find a way to be out of the danger zone cause that door has a chance of falling once it's cut."

Listening to the conversation though Aurora found herself double checking when she herd Fuago being called a weapon, a shake of the head she looked back at her baby. "He didn't mean that" she mouthed, yet she rolled over. "Trust me, I never had a problem of the sort happen with any of my creations and I been making things like her for a few years now with even less. and honestly, look on the bright side, the explosion would cause the door to come down."

Danny the sassy and sarcastic ghoul was waiting by the front gate of a forfeited building waiting to be let inside."And for the last time im a doctor...i might not look it but im the best ya got in that shit hole" Danny berating the guard from the other side of the gate legality angry that was not letting be let inside.

"If ya want i can give you the note that your boss sent me to go see him...i need to get in damn it" Danny was now getting more frustrated with the guard ready to leave at any moment.

Brick gave an accepting nod to Aurora's statement.
"So either way you look at things, problem solved. She and I have a few things to talk over while we get set up, so we'll come find you when we're ready, sound good?"

He nodded towards the massive vault door in an effort to get Aurora to follow him towards it.
"I was thinking similar things about the door actually. I figure, with a bit of finesse on the cutting, we could hollow out an entryway while leaving the load-bearing structures in place, allowing us safe access. Now, that's assuming they made this door the same way other vaults are, the sheer size of the thing suggests there could be some variables at play. I guess the last thing to really touch on, is how far back do you figure we should set up from the door?"

He smiled at the comment Crest made, “Well you shouldn't need to worry about that with us, at least I think so, I can't fully speak for the others, but they seem okay.” He joked slightly. His attention soon returning back to them discussing the vault, though he'd be lying if he said he understood what they were talking about, long range rifles and medicine he understood, but this stuff they were discussing, well it was mostly flying over his head.

“Look, if you guys need help getting that vault open, I could lend a hand in whatever capacity possible, least I could do for having help against those thugs after me.” He couldn't help but speak up when they were discussing how to proceed with the vault. He wasn't the type to just sit around and not do anything, he wanted to feel useful in one manner or another, besides he felt he owed it to them after the town was attacked, sure he didn't directly do it, but him being there only added more danger thanks to the bandits that hunted him down.

He glanced at Crest when she introduced herself, though the group seemed to be preoccupied with discussing the vault he quietly said to her, “No need to force if you're not comfortable with it, just relax and take your time, besides I think they're just concerned with the vault at the moment, it's all they've been talking about for a bit now.” He smiled to her once more.
