“Maybe you can,” Grace said with a wink. “I’m off at one. For now, darling, duty calls.” She gave Ley a flirty smile, before heading off to help another bar goer.

“Damn, if only I had that kind of luck,” a feminine voice said from beside Ley, a bit of a pouty tone to it.

Sky laughed, following Quartz and drawing him into dancing with him as best he could. “Well, just think. This is only the beginning,” Sky said with a grin. “Not even the Conference proper. More will come. More things to see, more ponies to do,” he said, his tone joking. “Just wait. It’s only going to get better.”

Ley turned around to see who the voice was.
"Don't throw away your chances yet," she said, "The night is still young."

Quartz giggled at Sky's joke.
"You're funny," he said, booping him on the nose, "I just can't wait for all the fun to start."

“Oh, I’m not throwing away my chances,” the mare said, the pout turning into something slightly teasing. Her coat was an ivory hue while her mane was a riot of colours in no particular pattern. She was a little larger than most mares, and was rather curvy, with soft eyes, and a small half smile on her face. “I’m just saying I wish I had that kind of luck and skill with my attempts to pick ponies up.”

Sky laughed at the boop, and nodded at Quartz’s words. “Neither can I,” he said. While some of the presentations he knew would be drier than a True Believer Seminary, overall, he’d found shows and conferences of a similar nature to be great. Fun and informative. He was really looking forward to this.

Ley finished her drink quickly, downing it.
"A lot of it is about how you approach the situation. I've had tons of pick up attempts backfire on me pretty quickly," She said, turning around fully so she could see the mare properly.
She gave the mare a look over, her eyes lingering for a second on her flank.
"You have to be confident, but not arrogant, smooth, but not sleazy," She said, smiling.

Quartz smiled as he danced, occasionally swinging around Sky.
"So, why are you here?" He asked, looping his arms around Sky's neck and bringing their faces close together.

“So you have your pick-ups down to a science?” the mare asked in amusement. “You know, I really should have expected that, considering the ponies currently here.” She quirked another half-smile at that. “I suppose you know what your success rate is as well, then,” she added, raising an eyebrow.

Sky continued to dance along with the earther, having quite a bit of fun with Quartz. “Well, I’m the assistant to Ley Lines, one of the unicorns presenting here,” he told Quartz. “And what about you?” Sky asked interestedly, slipping out of the embrace to spin Quartz around before bringing him back in close.

"I wouldn't say I've perfected my technique. It's more of a past time than anything," Ley said, "My real expertise is in Magical Theory."
She stood up and walked over to the mare.
"I know what it is. Want to help improve it?" She asked, checking the clock quickly to make sure she had plenty to satisfy this mare.

"I've heard about her. She had to get special permission to bring some herbs of some sort along," Quartz said, giggling at being pulled close, giving Sky a quick peck on the cheek, "You see, I'm the assistant to the royal guard in charge of security."

The mare laughed at Ley’s line. “Well, I don’t even know your name yet, but yes, yes I would love to help you improve it,” she answered Ley with a grin. The grin was mostly mirth, though with a definite undercurrent of something a little more heated…

“Oh, a bigwig, then,” Sky said with a grin. “And a guard? Well, that must be fun. You get to stay at a place like this and get paid to do it.” He chuckled, grinning at the peck. “Well, it should certainly be fun. You get to deal with quirky, crazy mages for two weeks, while I just deal with my peers,” Sky joked with a large smile.

"My name is Ley Lines, but you can call me Ley. I'll make sure you're screaming it by the end of the night," She said, whispering the last part in the other mares ear, "What's your name?"

"Oh, it'll be all sorts of crazy. As for fun, well, thats not the only thing I'll be doing for fun around here," Quartz said, before kissing Sky fully on the lips, pulling away after a few seconds, a small smirk on his face.

The mare giggled, a light blush coming across her cheeks. “Spring Fireworks, and I think you’ll find them going off from the pleasure I’ll be giving you,” she countered, a quiet, wicked tone to her voice. “You want to come back to my room?” she asked, eyes sparkling.

Sky laughed as the kiss broke, him having taken part with gusto. His eyes lit up in as a full out grin split his face. “Oh wow, you’re forward,” he said, laughing. “Can I buy you a drink?” he asked with an over-blown ‘smooth guy’ voice, done in such a way that it was meant to elicit a laugh.

Ley checked the clock. She had two hours.
"I'm sure I'll put a spring in your step," she said, giving the mare a quick kiss in the cheek.
She nodded.
"Lead the way beautiful," she said, almost sounding hungry eith want.

Quartz laughed at the pegasus' tone.
"Who would I be if I were to turn down such a lovely offer from such a hot stallion," he said, winking at Sky as he made his way over to the bar.

Spring Fireworks began to skip towards the entrance to the bar, flicking her tail up so it teasingly brushed Ley on the muzzle. She led the mare to the second floor, to room 253, towards the end. She tossed a hungry look over her shoulder at Ley Lines as she led the way inside…

Once they were over at the bar, Sky waved down a bartender. “One rum and coke, and whatever this hotty wants,” Sky immediately requested, grinning as he gestured to Quartz. The bartender nodded, looking over towards Quartz to get his drink order.

Ley quickly walked inside and closed the door behind her, a click heard as the lock engaged.

"I'll have Midnight Surprise," Quartz said, giving a friendly smile to the bartender.
He turned to Sky as the bartender started to make the drinks.
"So, what were your plans for the night before I walked into you?" He asked.

And then they banged. It was kinky.

“To have fun,” Sky answered impishly. “And maybe if I’m lucky, find a nice pony to have fun with for the rest of the night.” He grabbed his drink once the bartender put it down for them, and went off to serve some others. “Your own plans?” he asked, pushing Quartz’s drink over to him.

One hour later, Ley opened the door, only looking a little ruffled.
"Well. That was fun," She said.

"Oh, you're looking for someone to have fun with?" Quartz said with a smile, "My plans were to dance the night away, either on the floor, or in someone's bed. I have a feeling it'll be the latter."

When Ley made it back to the bar, it had more ponies in it than before, and plenty of dancing mares and stallions filled the floor. It was a riot of colours. Even the academics knew how to have fun in Equestria sometimes.

Sky grinned. “Confident, are we?” he asked teasingly, even as he used a quick dance move to dart in and steal a kiss from the other stallion. “Though I guess you have every reason to be,” he added impishly.

Ley walked over to the bar, taking a seat at the counter, her eyes searching for Autumn. Though she did have fun with that mare, she was very excited to see the hot bartender.

Quartz pulled Sky into a longer kiss, bored of waiting.
"My room or yours?" He asked huskily.

Autumn was currently mixing a drink a ways down the bar, but on seeing Ley Lines back, she sent winked over at the unicorn. After she finished with the customer that had her current attention, she made her way back over to Ley. “Oh, after you went off with that cutie earlier, I thought I’d have to wait until tomorrow,” Autumn said flirtily. “Anything you’re wanting now that you’re back?”

“Yours,” Sky requested with a grin, winking, chuckling as he danced back a bit, just enough to run his eyes over Quartz, before dancing back in close. “I’d love to get a feel for those muscles. Eye candy like that should be properly appreciated in a more private place, no?” he asked as if it were the most obvious thing in the world, his grin widening.

Ley smiled a little, her eyes trailing the mare's figure.
"I can think of a few things, but I think I'll have to wait a while," She said, "But for now, a vodka martini will do."
She gave a wink to the mare.
"I don't look too messed up do I?" She asked.

"My room it is," Quartz said, heading out of the bar, "I bet its not just my muscles you want a feel off."
He came to the door to room fifty three, and opened it, a smile on his face, a spark in his eyes.

Autumn giggled, winking at Ley. “Give it an hour,” she said flirtatiously, going over to mix up Ley’s drink. It didn’t take more than a moment, with the earther’s expert hooves quickly mixing and pouring the drink, before she gave it over to Ley. “One vodka martini,” she said, sliding it over with a flirty smile.

Sky Runner pranced inside, and shot Quartz a look of want. They proceeded to dance the rest of the night away behind closed doors…

"I'll be waiting," Ley said, winking at the bartender, before taking a sip of the cocktail, "Perfect. Like something else I could mention."
She continued to sip at her drink while she watched the bartender at work.
'She certainly is good with those hooves,' She thought to herself.
