"Not whenever I want," Autumn said with a smile. "Just on my days off when I have time to hike out here." She smiled down at Ley. "I think I'd like that. Believe it or not, I've never been to Canterlot," she said with a giggle. "Perhaps you might like to show me around some time?"

[OOC: Just jump in later if you want.]

Jen rounded the corner to find a pair of rather large, burly men in a heated argument, both gesturing rather strongly, both with large, fifty calibre pistols in hand. One of them was even still smoking. In unison, though, they turned to Jen. "What do you want?" the left one asked gruffly, eyes narrowing at the young woman.

@Carlsberg
It did end up being quite the hike, taking more than an hour and a half over some rather rough terrain. Though, once they reached the lookout point, it all proved worth it. The spot was at the top of a cliff that overlooked a valley completely unmarred by pony habitation or development. No visible roads, no buildings, nothing but greenery and mountains for kilometres around, for all that could be seen from the lookout.

"Me and a few others on staff have this as kind of our secret spot. Almost no tourist is willing to make the kind of trek it takes to get up here," Autumn explained happily. "It's an amazing spot." She reached into the saddlebags she'd brought along and pulled out a bottle of water. "Want some?" she asked, offering it to Ley Lines.

[OOC: I apologize again for taking so long. RL is a bitch at times.]

Jen

Jen hadn’t even made it halfway home when there was some indistinct yelling in an alley off to the side, though it was more than loud enough to let her know it was close by. The indistinct yelling was almost immediately followed by the rather distinct report of a not so small gun of some kind, though the yelling by both parties continued right after the shot.

Juro

[OOC: For ease of GMing purposes, even if they don’t refer to themselves as such, would you mind designating the clones somehow? Be it Alpha, Bravo, etc, or 1, 2, 3…. Just some way in which I can keep track of who is where and cut down on a miscommunication I swear is going to come along at some point if we don’t do something like that? Thanks.]

All seven bikes went around the trap on the same side, almost as one. The first one was knocked off his bike by a Juro clone though that was immediately retaliated against via two of the men drawing silenced weapons and putting a bullet each into that side’s rubber shooter’s shoulder with suppressed weapons. Though, despite the suppresser, it was still point blank with a .303 pistol round.

The rubber round Juro fired at the teen’s longboard didn’t quite hit the board itself, barely missing the board, though hitting the ground just in front of the wheel just in time for the axle to hit the round, and slingshot the rider forward in what could have been a possibly lethal faceplant (as well as revealing the longboard was strapped to his feet in some manner). However, the rider tucked and hit the ground shoulder first, rolling back to his feet and board to continue on with what was clearly a fair bit of experience in falls like that, quickly moving back up to speed, now with only side bikers on his tail, the seventh still rather dazed from the fall he’d taken after being hit by rubber rounds.

Sorry for the wait. This RP isn't dead. I originally was waiting one week for the other player, but then, when the week was up, the end of the semester hit like a freight train. That's coming to an end pretty quick though. I'm going to revive this from where we currently are, and without school, I should get posting more regularly. Sorry for the wait. Expect either Friday or Monday. Hopefully you're still up for it. Sorry again for the wait. RL is a bitch at times.

Sincerely,

The Firedancer

@Carlsberg [OOC: SORRY! Time got away from me. ;( ]

"It really is," Autumn agreed happily. "Never gets old. We're heading to an old lookout. It's off the beaten track, and a lot harder to get to than some of the others, but if you're up for a hike, I cannot begin to explain how worth it it is." She smiled happily. It was rare she got to share the sight, even with her coworkers, and she hoped she'd be able to share it with Ley.
Finally, Posting rules:

While the characters are seperate, it's rotational, that is, for every one of my posts, each person posts once that round.

Any characters interacting with each other, a post order based on the rotation they met up for that current 'together' is followed. Just makes things easier and flow a little better. :)

Iris
@OneWayOut

The night was starting off with an explosion. Whether or not that was a good or bad thing was debatable, but when it went off right in the middle of someone’s bedroom, it was usually at least unexpected. The explosion was mostly noise and light, as when it died out and Iris’ vision returned, nothing about the room was disturbed but for any loose papers that might be about.

And the young man hanging from the slowly spinning ceiling fan by his tail in nothing but a set of boxer shorts. There was that too. He was lean and muscular, built like an Olympic swimmer, and had three, long scars down his back as if he were clawed by some massive set of talons. There was no sound from the rest of the building to indicate anyone had heard anything out of the ordinary.

[OOC: Before I forget, currently Category One, Class Two]

Juro
@knighthawk

Sometimes, days start bad. Sometimes, days start good. Regardless, there are the times when no matter how good or bad the day might had been, the nights just go to shit. Such was the night of one Juro Jacobsen as he was in Central Park for reasons only he might know.

A kid that couldn’t have been more than 16 blew past him on a what looked like a rocket propelled longboard, though a closer look would reveal the short, six inch blew flames to be coming straight out of his hands. Though that was odd in and of itself (Central Park had begun to strictly enforce speed limits after mutants had begun showing up that could do highway speeds on rider-propelled vehicles), what would really bring this from odd and perhaps annoying to straight up dangerous was the seven black dual-sports, travelling near silently, close behind with people in black body armour and equipment that Juro would recognize as coming from a company the American Government refused to do business with to the point the equipment would need to be smuggled in… Bikes that Juro wouldn’t hear until they were almost upon him…

[OOC: Category One, Class Four due to possible uses of duplication and level of it.]

Jen
@Carlsberg

New York city, the city that never sleeps, was one of the places in the world that one might be able to find a twenty-four seven bakery. An all-night bakery that Jen had the misfortune of having to work a shift until midnight. A shift which she was just now getting off of.

As she stepped outside the bakery, she would get a sense of something being off. Something just wasn’t quite right, though nothing would immediately jump out t her should she look around. Other than something nagging her instincts, it would seem like an average midnight in New York City.

[OOC: Category One/Four split, Class Four due to flaming breath.]
Catagories and Classes of Powers[//b]

Superhumans are divided into five categories, One through to Six, based on the styles of use, and Classes One through Six based on power level. Class One is the least dangerous, while Class Six is equivalent to a WMD.

Categories

Category One: Powers that affect only the Super and [i]maybe the outside world indirectly. Examples include healing factors, enhanced senses, and super strength. It also affects the Super in visible manners, though this does not extend past them. Examples include certain types of shapeshifting, bone or metal claws, or a tail.

Category Two: Powers that are touch based and affect either the world or other people. Healing touches, X-Men Gambit’s touch based energy imbuing, and anything else that requires skin to affected object contact.

Category Three: Projected powers that require a medium, source or material to work through. Things such as X-Men’s Pyro, Water and Earth benders from Avatar, or [needs to think of DC example]

Category Four:Projected powers that don’t need the assistance or reliance on a medium. Examples include telekinesis and telepathy, heat vision, and Fire and Airbending as in Avatar (the animated versions).

Category Five: Abilities that don’t quite fit in any other category. Examples include teleportation, future vision, and certain other mental powers.

Classes

The Classes are based, for the most part, on the power levels measured by a special device in world, however there are a few exceptions.

Class One through Four are based purely on measurement of the power level of the character. Classes Five and Six are independent of his system of measurement, however.

A Class Four is assigned if the Super’s power is Category Three through Six and can easily be used to kill. Any Class Four Super is required to register with a confidential government database in the same way Concealed Weapon permits are registered, as the government and law enforcement will treat a Class Four power like a concealed or drawn weapon, depending on the situation.

Class Five is destruction on the level of a bomb or greater with physical powers, and telepathy on the level of being able to manipulate another’s thoughts. These Super’s either (A) have their powers neutralized via a serum they must take or (B) are killed if they’re uncooperative.
