@Necrophage Currently the only beast to have appeared is the Subterrean Nidhogg, or 'Xena Serpant' in a recent conflict with most of the cast:

The Xena serpent is a massive beast that many believe to be nothing more than a myth. The rumors say that it's so large, that seeing the entire monster above ground would be practically impossible, as its body is said to 'wrap around the world's core several times over' or something to that end. As its name implies, the subterranean Nidhogg burrows through the ground using its shark-like rows of teeth, and horned head as digging tools. Many believe that it only surfaces once a year to fulfill its hunger, before hibernating for another 12 months, but this is all speculation based on tall-tales and Diver word of mouth.

There are many more to come, but I would prefer to keep the ideas I currently have in reserve. However, as I THINK I might have mentioned before, players are free to submit ideas for lore, including beastlore.

I've also just noticed the bestiary section of the OP was coded wrong, but I've fixed that. New beasts will appear there as they are introduced.

Yvette Eridal is the head of Survey group Alpha. She and 11 other CMAS mages were tasked with the survey initiative's first attempt at surveying no-mans land. This group consisted of Onweer Daybreak, Brian Tormal, Kenny the machinst, Ebenezer, and Cecil, along with a few other nameless Divers. This group has left Arcadia already, to the north, in search of an arcane node, or anything else of entrance.

The Diver group were at Divers paradise, a haven for Divers everywhere, lead by Luke Juuno. Luke took 24 Divers to sabotage the Survey initiative, including Jenso, And nobody else important because all the other Divers dropped out/were kicked from the RP.

The Divers encountered the Survey Group in Xena rock fields, a large plain full of stones of varying shapes and sizes. While attacking the Survey groups Z-ATV (A large armored vehicle) many Divers were killed, and many Junkers were killed. Eventually, after the Divers outright overpowered the CMAS mages, the Xena serpent interrupted this battle forcing the two groups to unite. They defeated it, ultimately, and agreed to stop the fighting, since Luke and his team wrecked their only means of transport.

Meanwhile, the head of the CMAS, Sydney Duvell, has been shown to have knowledge of this attack somehow, and is pleased to know that the Survey group was combating Luke and his squad. Sydney shown to have malicious intent, as well as an information source of some sort.

Back at Diver's paradise, many CMAS mages have begun attacking, attempting to topple the under-ground haven by destroying the supporting pillars and killing the people there. Luke's sister, Laura Juuno, has contacted him via long-range psychic link, forcing him to retreat from the ambush site in Xena, and defend his home. He has still not arrived. Jenso followed him. Due to Alvios' help (A very powerful Diver, and right hand to Luke Juuno) the attacking CMAS forces are being dispatched rather effectively, despite the damage they are inflicting. Tinon seems surprised that Alvios is still at the paradise.

Brian and Onweer are speaking about Yvette possibly being traitorous, Onweer has discovered that she is rather confused about the ambush they just suffered. Yvette has decided they will continue their mission anyways, to her subordinate's disappointment.

Meanwhile, Sydney has ordered Survey Group 1, the real survey group, to head south in search of nodes. It consists of 20 very adept Junkers, is far more prepared than Survey group alpha was with 3 ATVs, has quite a few very popular names within the group, and is now about to leave. This group includes 'buttercup' a steel golem PC.

Important-ish plot points:

Sydney, despite being completely un-suspicious, has been shown IC to have malicious intent. Nobody knows this IC however.

Yvette and Luke may be conspiring with each-other atm, nothing is for certain.

Tinon's behavior is suspicious.

Alvios is a badass.

Such an interest earned him a position in working as the temple bookkeep and eventually, the librarian, having a vast knowledge of what each text had to hold.

The monks required him to attend sessions, classes, religious holdings on the way of Kho, which he took to quickly. The way of Kho, as Jäger interpreted it, was to hone the mind, the body, and the self. Each person holds their potential Ki, however it is an individual quest to unlock that Ki. It is not part of a quest to teach others the way of their Ki, for another interfering would merely be a roadblock in their quest. The monks attempted to persuade Jäger that his method of thinking should be more open and charitable, however Jäger took this to be inaccurate criticism. Kho’s word is interpreted as he has already read it. Despite this refusal, the monks continued to teach Jäger their ways: to hone his mind and body as a singular entity, to push his physical and mental limits beyond the blind to Kho. They taught him the ways of green thumb through gardening and red hand through hunting. They taught him etiquette and in final resorts: self-defense.

Delving into the forgotten sections of the library one day, Jäger discovered tomes describing arcane energy and its potential uses. And several of them, specializing in lightning magic. Every day, when he believed the monks to be away or asleep, Jäger practiced in the grove behind the temple, honing his manipulation of the fifth element. It was everywhere. He was the energy, and the energy was he.

Finally, there was no more to the tomes in the library, and Jäger believed his destiny led him elsewhere, to spread the word of Kho’s betterment of self (it was not interfering in their quest, it was opening their eyes) and to learn more of this new arcane energy. The monks insisted that there was an infinite amount of knowledge to learn of Kho and his ways, but Jäger insisted this departing was the best path for him. Despite their differences, the monks lent Jäger a parting gift: a metal staff with an arcanite core, plain in its form, that was found long ago in the grove behind the temple. They had known. They’d always known. Thankful, Jäger embraced his family and decided to take with him a holy book of Kho: perhaps there was more to learn than expected.

- Lightning manipulation, specifically utilizing the electrons and arcane energy around each atom as individual points in a current or strike. Jäger’s power is increased exponentially if an actual storm is occurring or if a battle is within a conductive environment. The following are a sample of possible spells to be cast:

- Counterspell: Since the central nervous system (CNS) has a direct correlation with the arcane network, Jäger is able to interfere with the nerves’ electrical impulses of another arcane mage and disrupt a spell if it has not finished casting or is constantly being cast.

- Overdrive: As the central point of the arcane network, the CNS can have its electrical impulses made more rapid and in greater volume, temporarily increasing the power of Jäger’s spells but also draining more energy with each cast

- Rolling Thunder: Jäger summons a crackling ball of lightning to be thrown, which is capable of automatic travel and destroying weak materials such as wood, dirt, or fragments of rock. The ball lightning attracts any lightning casts made by Jäger as a conductor. Upon contact with its intended target, the ball lightning causes a rapid expansion of air and lightning to mimic the sound of thunder. This sound will deafen any who are too close temporarily, and will take damage from the outburst of sound as well as the electrical burn.

- Electrical affinity (Passive): Due to the electric nature of the CNS, Jäger is able to recover “mana” more quickly after casting, due to his innate control of electricity and being able to pull energy from the environment. This does not heal his physical condition.

- Shock Therapy: Jäger is able to mimic the effects of a defibrillator, if required

- Storm Gauntlets: Jäger is capable of channeling lightning as a current through his gauntlets and greaves. Anyone that is hit will feel internal burning and temporary paralysis, if weak enough.

- Overload: Given touch on a weak or incapacitated opponent, Jäger is capable of paralyzing voluntary muscles through constant shock and preventing any movement. This must be channeled or the spell will end. In the same conditions, given more time, Jäger is also capable of shutting down involuntary muscles.

- Meditate: Tapping into the body’s natural regeneration process, Jäger can heal physical wounds faster than normal individuals. This process requires silence and much time to accomplish.

Iron will is more an innate trait of any who use Ki (Or even a latent trait in those who don't use Ki actively) and wouldn't be very necessary to mention, but it's fine either way. Just note that your physical strength would not be comparable to Ki-focused individuals.

I searched for a ton of pictures for my stuff and couldn't find anything to satisfy my vision so I just wrote all the descriptions. Would have been faster had I skipped searching for pictures to begin with.
