Description: A short, brown haired girl with red highlights. Her hair is long and usually tied up in a ponytail. She stands at 4'11'' without heels. Her eyes are black and sharp, in contrast to her relatively thicker eyebrows that give her a somewhat aggressive appearance.
Noble Arm: Precision & Accuracy; a pair of flintlocks with carabao designs on the side. D+ rank.
Noble Arm Abilitie(s): Precision and Accuracy home in on the target, with each shot becoming more and more accurate with every successive hit. At the peak of its abilities, Addey can simply imagine hitting her target, and does not even need a visual in order to hit. The range of her abilities has been capped at 2 sq-km. The piercing power of her Noble Arm increases the greater the distance is. At maximum distance, they can tear through rows of tanks easily. At its lowest, which is point blank, it can cause some nasty bruising.
Rank: 839th
Name: Nate Anthony Marquez
Age: 17
Description: In short words, Nate is very plain. He has no special facial features and generally looks like your average everyguy. He has naturally tanned skin, wide, dull looking eyes that often give the impression of being dimwitted, and black hair and eyes. He stands at 5'2'' and doesn't wear any accessories - not even a wristband - however, beneath his clothes is the body of a trained athlete in his prime. He is heavily built and wide, with big, grasping hands.
Noble Arm:Sugod; A black tipped spear that is 1.5 meters in length. C+ rank Noble Arm
Noble Arm Abilitie(s): Sugod as two main abilities - it's so-called invincible charge, and it ability to boost Nate's strength, endurance, and resistance to pain. It's second ability is easy to explain: so long as he has the stamina for it, Nate can increase his strength and endurance to superhuman levels, allowing him to push down thick cement walls with little effort, and endure bullet storms with little more than torn clothing. Still, what makes his Noble Arm so noticeable is its destructive, unstoppable charge. So long ass the sun touches Nate, he is able to preform a straightforward charge that renders him, and everything behind him, untouchable. Moreover, everything in the path of his charge is ground to dust regardless of its hardness. So far, no upper limit has been found for how strong his charge is, and it is generally assumed that it can destroy anything - up to and including Noble Arms specialized in physical defense.
Noble Arm Name & Appearance: Harrow Twin short swords with black hilts and dark green etchings that seem to swirl through the blades The blades themselves are slightly curved and seem to be made of a dark grey material.
Noble Arm Abilities: Harrow absorbs the very energy from it's victims slowly draining their stamina and transfering it to Art, making him stronger and faster. This ability can even disable(temporarily) the powers of other noble arms if engaged long enough. This process only requires that Harrow is within 3 metres of his intended target. However the ground around the target being drained has a faint green glow and there is a thin trail leading towards Art. These Abilities makes Harrow a deadly enemy in short ranged battles especially to defense based noble arms users. However Harrow can only drain one person at a time a weakness that makes facing more than one opponent rather dangerous for Art. Also Art can control 1 sword using his mind up to 10 metres away giving him a chance for surprise attacks and a small chance against long distance arms users. Personality: Dispite his childish apperance Art is a rather mature and quiet indivdual. He isn't prone to socialisation preferng to be in the company of computers or books. Art is an especially driven indivdual and can often be found rather training or studying for the academic studies. He is very good at staying organised and following orders. He is however bad at giving orders and while capable of teamwork he avoids it if possible. Likes: Symmetrical objects, Fishing, Science & Histroy
Dislikes: Dogs &Loud people
Fears: His Father & Snakes
Bio: Art comes from Yellowknife in the North West Territories of Canada. His mother died when he was very young and his father being a wealthy man demanded success from Art in all aspects of life. Art was often punished for even the most minor of outbrusts and learned to hold his tongue to avoid beatings. Art never managed to make friends in Yellowknife, his father deemed the other children to be distractions from reaching his "true" potential. When Art did manage to slip away from his fathers thumb he would go and fish in the nearby lakes. When his father discovered these trips Art was surprised to hear his father praise him for learning a survial skill. While Arts childhood was harsh it has made him and an expectional academic as well as physically fit. Art can speak English & French fluently. When Art dicovered his noble arms his father quickly enrolled him into the Trinidad academy. Art wanted to question why Trinidad but didn't dare question it.
Noble Arm Name & Appearance: Naught Naught is the name for Adolf's pistol, A modified C96 Mauser. while it isn't part of his noble arm he carries a separate Sabre for melee combat.
Noble Arm Abilities: Naught's scope can give Adolf foresight on his intended target showing him where his opponent will be allowing him to target that location. It's rounds are tremendously powerful and capable of piercing almost anything including some weaker noble arms. Naught gets it's name, however, from it's ability to nullify other noble arms' powers, it affects others on successful hits, even a grazing shot will weaken another arms master till they can longer use their abilities. This ability has an extremely powerful form in which it can destroy another noble arm entirely though it also temporarily severs Adolf's link to Naught and leaves him in an extremely weakened and possibly near-death state depending on the exact power required to destroy the opposing noble arm.
Personality: Adolf can seem like a nice person, and he is for the most part though he can be cold at times and has a tendency to be casually brutal at times. He always tries to appear confident and rarely lets fear, worry, or sadness show.
Fears: Naught's effect on him.
Bio: Adolf was born in Germany and found out about his Noble arm very early on in his life and not long after finding out he was being put through schools and academies for arms masters, going through a few before settling in one. He did well in his classes and even joined a few tournaments, usually placing highly. His best tactic was to use Naught to weaken his opponent and then finish the fight with either his handgun for ranged combat or use his sabre. He had a bit of a name for himself in Germany, he was no celebrity but he was known among the tournament crowd. It wasn't until his fight with a particularly skilled arms master that he discovered his weapons full ability, he'd made a desperate move when it looked like he was going down and charged his weapon without realizing it, the shot that hit his opponent shattered his noble arm. Adolf blacked out soon after. He woke up five day later. No one was sure what to make of it and he wound up going out of the country to continue his education, enrolling in Trinidad Academy.
Noble Arm Abilities: The Colt 1911 pistol that Winston possesses isn't like any other fire arm. He has two options; he can let the bullet travel to its destination and explode, or he can teleport to the bullet at any point provided it is no more than twenty feet from him. This still applies even if the bullet is embedded in a target, allowing him to appear behind someone after shooting them. The explosion radius of his bullets is roughly eight feet in diameter, capable of obliterating a target. However Winston isn't immune to this explosion and could blown up by his own bullets if he isn't careful.
Personality:
*Likes: Numbers and equations, written work, being correct/winning at something, chemistry, target practice
*Dislikes: Sports, teamwork, losing/being wrong, having to explain himself, world history, salads
Fears: Spiders, Heights, Blowing himself up with his gun, girls
Bio: Winston is a model student, he's taken and passed several gifted intelligence classes and is regarded as a prodigy in mathematics and sciences as well as maintaining a steady 4.0 GPA average throughout his Canadian schooling. Coming from the family of an investment banker and mathematician he received little praise for his academic excellence, as it was expected from him. In fact he doesn't even consider himself overly intelligent, he's just under the impression that everyone else around him is simply stupid. Among the few hobbies Winston engaged in was fire arms and target practice, he enjoyed the feeling of holding a powerful weapon in hands. His father allowed his use of a gun when he was thirteen, taking notice of his level of responsibility; which was far beyond his age. Although he was only ever allowed to fire it at ranges, there was one within walking distance of his school. He never abandoned this practice and continued to work on his shot since his obtaining a small pistol from his father, after four years of dedicated practice he's become one hell of a shot. Winston was aware of his noble arm around his seventeenth birthday, when it came out of hyperspace to him during his nighttime homework session, he already knew a little about noble arms. They interested the young boy because of his hobby in weaponry, and he was thrilled when he realized that he was in possession of one such object. Furthermore, it was a gun! The only weapon he had any prowess in. He told his father about the incident, who in turn informed Winston that he would switching schools immediately; Winston knew better than to argue. His father looked around for a few nights for a school that could teach noble arm skills, before settling on a low tuition academy in the Philippines.
*Current Goal: To graduate the academy as the number one student.
Noble Arm Name & Appearance: Her Noble Arm is a twin set of rapiers named "Draecion Crashes", they have extremely sharp 5/6 meter blades made of a shiny almost black metal with a stripe of red running down the edge and center of the blades. The hilts of the swords are of German Pappenheimer style which covers the whole top of the hand and back of the hand with a swirled hand guard.
Noble Arm Abilities: Aleksis is able to absorb and redirect Kinetic energy from things inside her line of sight while it's inside the range of about 3 1/2 meters. After absorbing a certain amount of kinetic energy Aleksis can launch a red long range pulse of the energy that, depending on the amount, can launch an average human with a low amount of energy or obliterate large city or bunker after absorbing a massive amount of energy like a nuclear explosion. Whenever she uses her ability her eyes turn from silver to red and her physical prowess increases 10-fold for a maximum of 7 seconds just before she releases the energy wave but after this she returns to her natural state. one weakness is that it takes time for her to charge up her energy wave which means that those who could end the battle quickly have the advantage unless they use an explosion which would just feed her enough kinetic energy to use against them.
Personality: Aleksis is a pretty lazy girl but is also hardworking when she wants or needs to be and this is both a blessing and a curse because she isn't really taken seriouisly by some people when they aren't talking about powers. If anything she hates talking to people in person and prefers to be on the other side of a headset microphone or cellphone just because there is a way to instantly end the conversation, but she will talk when it is necessary. She loves a good fight if only to just test new techniques, but also because she likes the feeling of teaching others and helping them in a bit of a roundabout way.
*Likes: Gaming, cooking/eating, not sleeping, electronics, clovers, training.
*Dislikes: loud people, spicy food, her phone dyeing, people who act like they are better than her, group work.
Fears: She is terrified of heights
Bio: Aleksis hadn't always been a loner, when she was a child she was actually very social and nice but then something changed after her mother and father separated when she was five years old. She never understood why they broke up but she had taken it to heart and she began to slow down with her socializing as well as her sports activities though kept up with fencing practice. What really shut her down though was that her mother and father began dating other people before even a month was out since they had broken up. That was the straw that broke the camel's back, she felt as though the two had just betrayed her. In the following few years her room became more and more fortified from the inside out, her door had deadbolt locks installed and her room almost became a house itself though Aleksis still had to go out to get food and drinks though didn't talk to her mother or her new boyfriend. When they discovered that Aleksis possessed a Noble Arms her mother sent her to the academy without a word to her father though she doubted that he would really care.
Precisely 5 feet and 5 inches tall and weighs in at 120 pounds. The eyes are that way because of her noble arms and her hair is obviously dyed.
Name: Nishka
Age: 15
Nationality: American
Noble Arm Name & Appearance: A Bag of rocks. Usually refers to it as 'the sack'. The sack appears to hold an endless amount of rocks, the rocks themselves change slightly in shape depending on Nishka's intent. Very slightly though, they can be perfect for skipping, slinging, throwing, and the like.
Noble Arm Abilities: The sack allows Nishka to swap any inanimate object's position in her power's radius and her line of sight. Normally it has a radius of 10 meters, but if focused upon the range can currently increase up to 30 meters. She can swap anything at more or less the speed of thought. Nishka has trouble swapping anything much larger than a van. On the other hand using this ability has nearly no noticeable drain on Nishka's energy allowing her to use this countless times before the loss becomes noticeable. However when attempting anything larger than a car the energy drain starts becoming exponentially bigger, giving her rather set limits on what she can swap.
Personality: Nishka is a no nonsense kind of girl. She has little patience with lazy people or those that beat around the bush. She can also be a bit judgmental, lumping people into a category as soon as she sees them for the most part. Nishka has a quick wit and is rarely bested in verbal combat, and if she was you'd get something worse. Morals are a bit of a grey-black area for her, whatever best serves her purposes works.
Likes: Meat, Fruits, Vegetables, Protein Shakes, Candy, Power,
Dislikes: Idiots, Lazy People, Arrogant People, Mostly things that aren't food.
Fears: Losing her noble arms, Starving, Loud Noises
Bio: Nishka was a street urchin, born and raised in the rough and tumble of the city. Nishka thrived in the rough environment, stealing was easy for her and she was tough enough to hold her own in any fight with the help of her trusty rocks. She stuck it out solo, just herself and her noble arms, though she didn't know it was that at the time. After getting into a particularly rough situation Nishka found out that the second part of her noble arms, the swapping ability. Naturally her life picked up from there, stealing was trivial, no one could beat her in a fight. It was some time later that she found out what she had was a noble arms. Nishka quickly became interested in attending an academy. She'd heard of several and wanted to see if they taught anything helpful, as well as to see other noble arms.
Current Goal: Find out what this school's dealio is.
Noble Arm Abilities: Cătălina has an incredible aptitude when it comes to the bow and arrow, being able launch multiple arrows with one shot. Her arrows have the benefit of being cloaked in invisibility the moment it escapes the bow string. However, the invisibility is surely timed before becoming visible once 5 meters to it's target. If successful of acquiring the target, a small pulley system to the spring open the 'prongs' of the arrow head becoming quite impossible to extract. While the host in tempts to remove the arrow, not only would it be agonizing pain and cause hemorrhaging; a mild poison will enter the bloodstream of the victim. At times there may be an overpowered abilities or defenses that have an advantage against the arrow's properties. She needs both of her hands to use bow effectively.
Personality: Cătălina has always been a quiet, if a bit standoffish individual preferring solitude over interaction with her peers but while bearing no ill will towards those she does surround herself with. She considers it wise to opt for silence when one has nothing of note to say, and has been noted by her friends as an ‘excellent listener’. However, do not be fool by her exterior. The dark beauty has a special case of self adoration, thinking of herself as a Goddess or untouchable person.
*Likes: Physically Active Hobbies (Hunting), Biology, and Chemistry.
*Dislikes: Anyone speaking ill of Romania.
Fears: Bringing shame to the name and discovering she is not what her family meant to be.
Bio:
As personal stories go, Cătălina is rather unremarkable. She is the youngest daughter of six, coming along unexpectedly. And that was the last surprising thing she accomplished, at least according to her parents, grandparents, and five older sisters. In a family where honor ran strong, Cătălina never seemed to manage anything more than adequate at best.
At least as far as her family thought. Realizing at an early age that no matter what standard she met in her family’s estimation, they would never been satisfied. She had watched her older sisters strive to meet the exacting expectations and had listened to each of them cry in the dark of the night any time they failed. It was enough to inspire the young Cătălina to attempt the obstacle course that was acceptance in her family.
When Cătălina was only 14 they moved from Romania to America taking up residence in Modesto, California. Within a few months the whole family had learned English fluently and were flourishing in the new country. In her freshman year of high school Cătălina discovered her Noble Arm, uncertain she kept it secret from her family and friends. However, curiously got the best of her with help of the internet and father. Cătălina had managed to purchased a bow and attend a couple of beginners classes before she was battling the hunting grounds of California beside her father.
She further flaunted her father’s wishes by attending and obtaining the gold National Youth Archery Championships. It was the beginning of her small fame that she learned of Trinidad Academy. With a little demonstration of her Noble Arm, Cătălina was sent to her new home.
A year as a student of Trinidad Academy under her belt, has given Cătălina the experience to climb up the ranks in just short amount of time.
*Current Goal:To continue honor to her family's name.
Claire's Noble Arm allows her to cut through literally any solid, whether it be natural or man-made (e.g iron and steel) and is very capable of slicing through human flesh. If a Noble Arm where to have the ability to create ice pillars, Claire would be able to cut through it, as it is a solid object. However, it's not just the sharpness of the blade that's deadly. Just a simple swing of the sword alone has enough force to slice through metal using only the air pressure from the swings.
Of course, Claire's sword can't cut through literally everything. Any Noble Arm, no matter how weak, will not be affected by the sword's blade. Simply put, no Noble Arm can be cut by Claire's blade. Also, like any normal sword, Claire's can 'wear down' and weaken. After about four minutes of use the effectiveness of the rapier will begin to deplete, slowly beginning to weaken until it can't even cut through flesh without the user applying more force to the Noble Arm.
Personality: Despite her rather mature and gentle appearance, Claire is probably one of the most over-the-top people you'll ever meet. Though she may come off as flamboyant and a bit silly, Claire is actually very witty, clever and sarcastic and isn't afraid to beat someone down with just words alone. In fact, being witty and quick to react to things is one of her greatest attributes, as well as the one she tries to show off the most. Although she might seem a bit mean and cruel because of this, Claire is a very fun, passionate and caring person. One of her famous quotes is 'Words can cut just as deep as any type of sword.'
*Likes: Singing, reading and staring at the sky.
*Dislikes: Admitting defeat, being defeated and cloudy skies.
Fears: The dark (get ready to get your eardrums popped if you're placed in a dark room with her.)
Bio: Claire was born under two well-payed parents somewhere in France (because my geography is utter crap) and lived a relatively simple childhood. Her education wasn't a problem and neither was her social life, though, like many girls her age, Claire went through typical school problems. Being born as half French and half English, Claire picked up on the English language at a young age before she continued to study it in school (even though her obvious French accent remains). She became fascinated in the use of clever words in 'battle' and studied hard in English to get a much better understanding of using words to 'wear down' her opponent, as well as the culture and meaning behind it. Surprisingly, the family moved to London when she was around ten, giving Claire the opportunity to adapt her knowledge into real conversation (as well as improving on her actual English).
Things took a turn for her when she had just turned thirteen. After her parents discovered Claire to be an Arms Master they immediately signed her up for rapier lessons so the she would become battle ready and fit for the various academies she could be possibly sent to. The rest of her years were spent training and studying when she was eventually enrolled into Trinidad Academy at the age of sixteen.
*Current Goal: To use at least one comeback against 100 people separately in a verbal fight (e.g saying yo mamma at least once in each verbal fight)
Concise statistics: Name: Takumi Isamaru Place of origin: Tokyo, Japan Age: 17 Height: 180cm Eye and hair color: Grey Noble Arm: "Vox Vulgaris," a C-Rank Sword Interference/Communication-type Arm. Noble Arm Name & Appearance: Vox Vulgaris takes the form of a long sword of vaguely Japanese design, with an almost-straight blade akin to the weapons of the pre-katana era, but with katana-styled tip sharpening. Takumi refers to his sword as a longsword, katana, or tsurugi, seemingly at random and freely switches the appelations if the theme of weapons or Noble Arms comes up. Given his background (and fighting style) this error is rather obviously deliberate to those who know him well. Abilities:
The abilities of Vox Vulgaris are multi-faceted, trading raw unrestrained power for a panoply of useful effects. Takumi made a habit of adding three-word somewhat poetic summaries to rote uses of his power, making it easier mentally to call upon on specific manifestations of it:
● Communication Control suite allows Takumi to control lines of communication. ● Involvement Adjustment allows Takumi to increase or decrease the amount of enthusiasm or apathy in an individual. ● Perception Intrusion abilities allow Takumi to manipulate basilisks, understand (and with time and practice, create and deploy) memetic weaponry, and manipulate perception of the world in a targeted individual. ● Entropy Manipulation abilities are those of chaos, violence and disharmony. Their concepts are destruction, removal and excisement. That isn’t to say, though, that destruction doesn’t have a certain art to it, particularly if collateral damage is to be avoided. These abilities as used by Takumi allow for selective, targeted destruction. He carefully chooses his focus and then introduces chaos, changing variables in the background just enough to throw things out of balance. Personality:
*Likes: People who stand for their beliefs (even if those beliefs are directly opposite to his own) *Dislikes: His family, people who believe that something is "fated" Fears: To not amount to anything Defining virtue: Inquisitive Defining vice: Rebellious Quote: "Now you see me... And now you don't." Bio:
Takumi comes from the renowned Isamaru family, who have made their name during the aftermath of World War II in Japan. His ancestors are well-known: his grandfather, Daito "Tetsujin" Isamaru, with his "Kongou no Yoroi" was one of the oldest Noble Arm users recorded in the country, and his matter strengthening abilities helped during the post-war rebuilding; his father Daiichi "Atomic Samurai" Isamaru, who has helped to clean up at the most terrible natural disaster sites of the second half of XX and XXI centuries (including Chernobyl, Bhopal and Fukushima) due to his peculiar ability to ignore adverse external conditions, is lauded as a hero; his family's zaibatsu is at the forefront of turning Noble Arm abilities into useful product and research into these strange para-humans. Since birth, Takumi was put under great pressure to conform and to confirm his family's great name. His rather early-manifesting Arm saw to that he was put into training as early as five years old. He wasn't told the actual reason for such haste until he was seven — apparently, shortly after the atomic bombings of 1945 the grandfather of the family met an early Noble Arm user, whose soul-weapon manifested as the earthly version of one of Japan's three legendary treasures, the mirror of Yata. This woman told him a lot of his future, which allowed the Isamaru Group to prosper, but the price for this knowledge was that he knew, beyond the shadow of a doubt, that a great calamity would befall him and his in three generations, and it was now apparently up to Takumi to withstand it. Except it was not up to Takumi at all. While he alternated between resentment, depression, understanding, and rage, his sister, who was deemed unfit to lead, awakened her Noble Arm, "Vox Fati," and beat him at the first practice. She was obviously neither as proficient nor as trained, yet it happened — apparently it was "fated" that he would never win against her. She then proceeded to beat him at each and every duel thereafter, no matter how hard he tried or what tricks he pulled. Takumi didn't let it get to him... until a review of his grandfather's papers after his demise uncovered a journal that conclusively confirmed the "Child that Withstands The Calamity" as female. At that point... no one specifically made anything worse for him, but his father stopped considering him vital and started considering him... expendable. The focus of the family's research switched to Reika, leaving Takumi alone and frankly, somewhat bitter. At some point thereafter he broke. Having a coldly worded congratulation about being accepted into one of the top Noble Arm user academies in Japan thrust into his hands by the family butler had something snap inside him. He used most of his connections and resources available to him as the elder son of a prosperous japanese zaibatsu and moved to the Phillippines, enrolling to their Trinidad Academy instead. He's determined to prove that he has intrinsic worth, not as child of prophecy, or a heir to something, and to forge some legacy he can call his own.
*Current Goal: To start forging some sort of basis for his own legacy Student Rank: 602
Promise's ability is called "Angle's embrace" is the ability to copy someone's Anatomy every 24 hours and restore said individuals body to the copy. The wounds have to be restored within 24 hours or promise can't do anything. Also the user of promise gets inflicted 62 times the pain of the wound. When activated turns Yuri's eyes a bright white.
Betrayal's abilities are "Demons wrath" breaking the intermolecular bonds and so decomposing or disintegrating the target. It can directly disassemble, therefore, if used on a person, the parts that form the human body, including skin, flesh, nerves, body fluids, bones, and cellular structures would be decomposed at a molecular level. If use consecutively "demons wrath" can kill Yuri because he's shooting parts of his soul. When Demons wrath is activated, a dark aura starts emanating off of him and psychical changes can be seen. Such as darkening of the eyes, graying of the skin, and his veins turning into to a almost back color.
Betrayal's second ability is called "Fiend's Physiology" This grants him inhuman perception and speed, equal to that of a great fiend. It also greatly changes his physiology, turning his eyes a crimson color, bones protruding from his spinal Column, skin darkening to a sickly grey, and the steady growth ram horns. After deactivating Fiends Physiology, Yuri is extremely exhausted and fatigued.
strengths: Perceptive, Kind, and Calm
weaknesses: Headstrong, Easily worried, and doubtful
Personality: Kind, caring, compassionate, Has a soft spot for animals and women. Mild pacifist but that changes when he's disrespected or those he cares about are.
Likes: Spicy food, Reading, Beethoven, and training
Dislikes: Laziness, Harm of the weak, and disrespect
Fears: Dishonoring his family's name and letting those he cares about come into harms way
Bio: Yuri was born into a family of soldiers he was always in the shadow of his brothers but when he was discovered to have come into possession of noble arms.
He became the center of his fathers world, Yuri was over joyed to get the attention of his father Intel his fathers so called "training" begun Yuri was beaten for hours on end along with having to mercilessly beat others all in his fathers pursuit of creating the perfect solider.
But one day Yuri's father made him spar with his brother after a long battle Yuri stood above his brother as he went to help his brother up, Yuri's father stopped him and told him he needed to learn another lesson and to kill his brother. "Show no mercy, and you'll become everything I dreamed of my son." His father said as he held Yuri's brother down, but to no avail Yuri couldn't do it he loved his brothers even if they never paid attention to him, so he ran and didn't stop Intel his home was far out of sight and after earning some money headed to the Philippines to join the academy his father never ceased to mentioned during their training. He would attend the academy and when he was strong enough return to his home and prove his father he was wrong about him.
Egeking- A Pata sword that Michael wields using his right arm. The pata sword originates from India and is a sword mounted onto a gauntlet. The blade of Egeking measures at 30 inches, whereas the gauntlet covers the lower half of his forearm.
Noble Arm Abilities:
Digital Blink:
Egeking gives Michael the ability to teleport ten metres at any given time. Michael has to physically see his target location, and has to wait ten seconds in between teleportations. It looks like Michael has disappeared, leaving a silhouette of blue, digital squares in the shape of himself, and reappears with the same visual effect at his target location.
Sword Code: Daybreak- The blade illuminates with a brilliant flash of light, and works kind of like a strobe light on the sword.
Sword Code: Nightshroud- A cloud of black smoke is released, equating to a thick smoke bomb.
Personality: Michael is usually quiet unless spoken to, but when you get to know him, he is kind and listening and is always willing to help out. Do not let this fool you, for in combat Michael is about as serious as World War III. He scrutinises sloppy combat but will give out pointers after the fight. That being said, if you have done a good job by Michael's standards, he will let you know and praise you.
*Likes: A job well done, people, training, learning about Noble Arms.
Bio: In Britain, families of Noble Arm Masters are treated like Knight houses, as is the competition between them. Michael was born under the Tremont name, and he had a lot to live up to. While the Tremonts were not the biggest name, they were still well respected. Michael's father was also a Noble Arm Master, and he wielded a simple long sword, aptly named Caliburn after King Arthur's righteous sword. After they discovered that their first son was a Master himself, and that of the Pata Sword, Michael's father swore by oath that outside of home school, he would teach Michael everything he knew about his is Noble Arm. However, difficulties soon followed as Egeking, named after the sword that slayed the sinister knight Greysteil, displayed "modern properties." The digital nature wasn't exactly smiled upon in a country where the new knighthoods were also celebrities. This didn't phase Michael and he used this ability to the fullest and to the maximum. Michael sought after knowledge of other Noble Arms and so he set off for a new academy in a new country. Dubbing himself as the "Noble Arm Scribe", Michael begins his journey, finding the secrets of the Noble Arms and his own.
Current Goals: Record all new data of Noble Arms, become Rank 1.
Name: Gloria Age: 17 Nationality: Mongrel Place of origin: Unknown, somewhere around Middle East Noble Arm: "Magnanimous Unbound Sun", an unranked (E+ provisional Rank) Tattoos Adaptation/Enhancement-type Arm. Height: 210 cm Build: Athletic Eye and hair color: Gold Complexion: Tan Notable features: Faint pattern of scars covering her whole body Voice: Clear, crisp and deep, deeper than most of other girls. She would make lower ranges of mezzo-soprano if she would sing, maybe even contralto. Style: Minimalist and somewhat rough, with short-cropped hair and nails, no makeup whatsoever and hard posture devoid of feminine grace. Clothes: Usually some variation of sand- or green-colored t-shirt, army jacket and cargo pants in urban or universal camo patterns, with jacket sometimes being substituted for tactical vest and t-shirt being substituted for an army combat shirt, depending on the weather and Gloria's mood. On clear days she wears patrol cap and/or sunglasses, which she stores in one of the pockets while indoor. She owns pair of sturdy gloves, but almost never uses them, and her footwear of choice is army combat boots - lately, she got one pair for hot climate. She's never seen without container of some sort - usually haversack, but she's been known to employ knapsack or even backpack when in need of carrying more gear. The reason behind her adherence to the military gear is sipmle - it's a lot easier to find something large enough for her at the surplus store than search normal ones - that and military gear tends to be durable and functional. She does have some "nice" clothes though, those being dark green turtleneck and somewhat scuffed roomy dark grey jeans....she keeps army boots, though. She almost never wears them. Her "combat" clothing is either her usual day-to-day or sports bra and track shorts, without footwear: she wears as little as she could get away with to be decent in public so that her clothing would not get in the way of Painted Wooden Swords' constructs with which she armors herself. Noble Arm Name & Appearance:"Magnanimous Unbound Sun" is a set of faintly glowing tattoos which cover her head to toe in the beautiful, swirling patterns that seems to accentuate her build or follow her body meridians, with different flower- or sunburst-like patterns on the intersections, with the most prominent (and brightly glowing) on her brow. Brightness of the glow intensifies with the amount of power she uses, until it starts to leak out from her in the visible halo-like effect, so bright it becomes painful to stare at her directly.
Noble Arm Abilities:
Magnanimous Unbound Sun’s ability is called “Excellence in Ten Thousand Things” – conceptual mastery over the concept of “excellence”, the quintessential ability to endure and prevail over any setback or foe. Theoretically it offers its wielder an inexhaustible well of unformed potential to be put to use in further achievements, in practice human mind could not even start to grasp at the full majesty of notion that “everything is possible”, so most of it are safely locked away by the failsafes. Instead, it deals in discrete abilities called “Edges” or “Charms” by Gloria. When she’s under heavy stress and proves unable to deal with it, or when she accumulated enough experience in trying to further her ambitions while struggling against obstacles, small sliver of potential begins the process of coalescing into the new ability, which is usually suited to the task at hand – Gloria could try and semiconsciously influence the process, but only to a degree(also, her level of experience in one or other way of resolving problems seems to influence the probability of her manifesting the Edge that helps her in that way – her Arm plays to her strengths, not covers her weaknesses). Each time her Arm is called upon, it manifests full realized panoply, so if Gloria wish to acquire new “Edge”, she has to find a way to challenge herself in some new form or quality, so that her existing “Edges” would not provide easy(or even moderately difficult) solution. Moreover, the process is far from instanteous, so she often has to retreat and wait until it finishes setting before she could use the new Edge. Her currently active Edges include:
Painted Wooden Swords – Tools is one of the advantages man has over most other species – where our own abilities prove insufficient, we reach out and take from the world something that could give us necessary leverage. Gloria developed this Edge from the endless frustration of shortages of gear in her wanderings. It allows Gloria to reach out and take the tool necessary from the world, shaping the light itself into convincing facsimile in the swirl of multicolored sparks. Gear shaped this way looks like almost real, except for the faint glowing outline which is easy to miss on the clear day if you don’t know what to look for. It functions almost as a real example, too – it interacts with the world as if made with the best of materials or techniques known to Man, or very slightly better than that: knife would cut, piece of metal on the rope would serve as a counterweight, etc. Gloria, however, could ignore some or other properties of their “reality” – she could lift and swing the greataxe created by this Edge as easily as children lift twigs while playing pretend, for after all said and done, all gear summoned that way is just an apparitions of light and color given form and function, and as she does their nature as such becomes apparent to anyone watching as they briefly become nothing more than semitransparent shapes of solid light, though no less real in other ways for that to the other world. This also gives her something of an intuitive aptitude with an object in question – since she could evade most of the difficulties normally tied to using it, it’s a lot easier for her to do what she’s envisioned. There are some limitations to this Edge, however: Gloria needs to have a very good understanding of properties of piece of gear she wants to summon that way and focus on them while calling for an object for it to become “real” to the other world; hence, summoning complex form requires intimate understanding of its workings and intense concentration. As such, Gloria limits herself in the stressful situations (such as a combat) to the simplest of forms and several forms which she trained to concentrate on so long it became a rote action to do so; he current peak of achievement is composite greatbow – which she still has to spend dozen seconds or so recalling in the sufficient details to properly imagine all moving parts. For that reason, she cannot currently summon any complex mechanism or anything that requires chemical reaction to work. She could, however, “scale” simple object to some fairly impressive proportions if given some time to prepare. It also bears noting that nothing summoned with this Edge is permanent – as the objects are merely the hardlight duplicates of real ones, they wink out of existence the second Gloria stops manifesting her Noble Arm. She could, however, decide to dissolve some of them prematurely.
Enter the Dragon – One of the soldiers that taught Gloria how to survive on her own once said that if she’s got teeth, then she got weapon. Trailer for one of the classical old films she watched on the battered videotape player inbetween missions on a base in the middle of nowhere, too, promised to show her how the heroes overcome being challenged with one of the most ancient and formidable weapons of all: human body. There are also countless records of people performing stunning feats of prowess – stuff of legends, like there. Gloria was fascinated by this, and thus this Edge was formed. It amps up her body to the peak of supposed human prowess – or even slightly better than such. With it, Gloria gains the potential to perform any feat that was ascribed to a human being in some story somewhere. There are two limitations to this Edge, however: first, it can only duplicate feats that have not been enabled by some form of supernatural assistance – she cannot replicate invulnerability of Achilles, for example; and second, it does not give her any actual skill to do so – physical capabilities, reaction speed, aptitude or talent, but not actual skill to do the deed – so in practice, she is limited to feats of raw physical strength, speed and endurance in most cases. It gives her an excellent aptitude for learning new tricks, however – some of which carries over to her unpowered state.
Ship of Theseus – No matter how mighty the hero, no matter how vigorous or keen or able, sands of time eventually claims everyone. It’s one of the laws of the universe, see – everything ages and turns to dust, whether people, their works, even stories of their achievements perhaps. It is said that even mighty gods could not outfight the Reaper. Reaper, however, could be, even if only temporarily, outraced. There’s a legend of an old ship which was a trustworthy companion to the hero in his great quest to the far lands, left upon the shore as a tangible memory, reminder of its days of glory. It withered, boards rotting off one by one with days, but people cared for it and replaced them as that happened, keeping the ship’s appearance pristine. One day, there was not even a single board left in that ship that belonged in the original one, yet it still stood there, legend materialized. Legends, it is said, never die. So, too, this Edge constantly repairs any and all signs of damage or wear and tear as they occur in Gloria’s body, mind or soul: flesh knitted whole and reinvigorated anew, feverish mind soothed and bolstered, soul reinforced again and again. It does more than simply restoring her, however – you could never win the race if you won’t try to get ahead, after all – and so, this Edge subtly improves on her each time it affects her, compensating for an injuries with changes to make her more resilient, more vigorous, more capable of overcoming them, pushing her to some inscrutable ideal one small modification at a time. Some changes are already evident: where once she’s been tall, but lanky girl now is a picture of athletic perfection, her bones, and skin are tougher than normal for humans, harder to break, she could withstand much greater g-forces than normal people, on the level of trained pilots, she’s outright immune for many diseases and some of the drugs out there – opiates, for example; though she’s not sure why this Edge changed her eyes and hair to the color of molten gold – apparently, it is part of some “platonic ideal” it pushes her to. She’s a lot more confident than she was too, worries and traumas of her past swept away and replaced with undying resolve to make better tomorrow come to pass after all.
Rage Against the Dying Light – Gloria always was hot-blooded child, not content to lay down and let the situation take its course. Nether would she flee – instead, she would dig her heels and fight to the bitter end, her blood coursing with adrenaline. Such is a way to have a good life – fighting for it against all odds. This Edge exemplifies this way of life, sending her powers into overdrive each time she takes a wound serious enough to cause her pain or weakness and compensating for them. It gradually amplifies her Edges with each wound taken as a form of automatic response, and powers down when she unsummons her Noble Arm, resetting to the baseline level after that.
Not Today – The concept of “runner high” or “second wind” is widely-known phenomena. So, too, the concept of “second chances” – when you have not succeeded at first, try again later. However, a soldier don’t always has time to retreat, recover and rest. Gloria developed this Edge when she had to rescue her unit on the last vestiges of her stamina, and it saved her hide several times since then. Put simply, it’s her “second breath”. When running out of stamina, staggering with wounds which even her regeneration could not heal over in time, or otherwise pushed in the corner, she can call upon this Edge to open up its reserves. In an incandescent display of power, her body, mind and soul are restored to their peak condition, fully healed and refreshed. During the process she’s usually lifted up in the air and strong light flash and concussive wave issues from her body, as excess power bleeds off into the world around her into the towering pillar of radiance the size of a lighthouse above her. She could do so only once before recharging those reserves, however, and calling upon them puts heavy strain on her body and mind, rendering her anemic and confused for about two days after she dismisses her Noble Arm and putting her at a severe risk of burning out if she would summon it during that period.

Bio:
Gloria hails from somewhere around the Middle East. She’s not sure from where – her town of birth was sacked by the local branch of Hammer of Masters when she was five – her parents was in the town’s militia and was executed for resistance, leaving her orphan with nowhere to go to. She was “adopted” by the branch, alongside with other children, and raised as a future soldier of the cult. As it stood, one of the leaders revived the time-honored tradition of making the guard of orphans of slain enemies, or something like that. Reasoning was simple – raised from young enough age as a soldiers of the cult, without any loyalties outside, such soldiers would gladly give their lives on command. Well, apparently Mongols knew what they did when they killed everyone taller than the cart’s wheel. Gloria – Number Five then – was always rather tall, taller than most of her peers. And though she went through motions and routines and prayers and made her sacrifices like everyone else, faint memories of her childhood were always with her – no matter how brutal or merciless were beatings, no matter how sweet were prayers or what they were made to take before them – she carried it with her as an another life – with doubts, but she persisted still. Perhaps camaraderie would have helped her with those memories, perhaps she would have been content with her new family after all these years…. Perhaps not. She was a clever child, with initiative and ambition and drive to always be the best. Instructors promised her the position of the sergeant – maybe even leutenant of the guard, when previous would have fallen in the battle. Never captain, though – that position was reserved for someone with a mighty Noble Arm only, and though she could have competed with someone low-ranking, what mortal could compete with someone who could be described as a living demigod? Too, as the initiation rite drew closer, she began to hear rumors. Apparently, someone questioned her drive and fire. She was appointed to the extended rite, one of the “special honors” – where the body of initiate were to be etched with psychedelic, poisonous ink which would render them numb to pain, harden their will – and, as rumors went, utterly stomp out their ambitions, or something to that end. Camaraderie proved to be a double-edged sword, after all. Nevertheless, Number Five went to the initiation – how could she not? It was all she had in her life. Still, her grief and rage at something that was a perceived betrayal after all those years of dedication and hard work and blood on her hands for the glory of the cult were heavy on her mind. So when she was etched with poisonous ink and sat between the censers spewing heavy, soporific smoke and someone asked her to close her eyes and abandon herself, she did unexpected: she refused. Golden threads swirled around her form and etched themselves into her skin, crisscrossing every inch of her skin in the lattice of the most beautiful ornament she had ever seen. She felt the burning power swelling inside her and purging traces of poisons inside her. Something blossomed inside her mind – and she remembered everything. Everything taken from her by the time, by the drugs, by the things they did to her to make her forget. Many people died that day. She wandered the world for some time. Made few friends, a lot more enemies(not many of which are under the sun by now) even some money to her name. Learned a lot of new things, too, some new tricks and edges with her weapon, new ways to survive, broadened her perspective on the life. Apparently, in this world someone with her abilities was a valuable commodity, and she would not go without a roof over her head or a food on the table if only she wanted to market her skills, her experience and, more importantly, her Noble Arm to the right people. There were, however, some things that would greatly improve her lot and make it more pleasant: allies, reputation contacts in the various power structures….accreditation as an Arms Master, since that would lift the stage of proving her worth in a lot of cases. Most of that could be gained by completing the courses in one of the specialized schools for Noble Arms wielders. After that it was only a matter of choosing one that was easier to get into – that school in the Philippines took damn near anyone, and scholarship options for the refugees(she even got an ID under the name of Gloria) were good enough for her. If she could find some actual friends along the way? Even better – it’s sometimes lonely and boring to wander alone.
*Current Goal: None aside from "acquire more resuources and maybe find some friends".
