Noble Arms. A mysterious power that surfaced during the twilight of World War II - a fact that even today have made many sigh in relief; for the power that Noble Arms lent to its master would have undoubtedly made the already destructive conflict so much more terrible. At present time, institutions have been founded in order to control the rapidly surfacing ability to summon powerful weapons - weapons that could, to the bafflement of scientists today, disregard the laws of physics.
Noble Arms are tools that are innate in the users mind, and summoned by their will into reality. For reasons that still cannot be explained despite years of research, Noble Arms only take the form of weapons from before the First World War, however, despite the antiquity of these forms, the power they bare to the battlefield is unlike anything modern technology has been able to produce.
The ability to manipulate the elements to the users will.
Force that can reduce matter down to atoms in seconds.
The strength to withstand the explosion of a nuclear missile.
All of these powers and more still have surfaced along side Noble Arms, and the ones who bare them, the Arms Masters, are sought after by countries all around the world. Where once the strength of a country was decided by the technological strength of their Army, it is now judge by the power of their Arms Masters.
It is now 2015, and the tradition of Arms Masters has been deeply established in society. There are academy's, school's, and programs dedicated to advancing the abilities of Arms Masters for the sake of their country. Truly, there can be no doubt as to the influence that Arms Masters and Noble Arms holds in today's generation.
Focus now on the Trinidad Noble Arms Academy; based in the Philippines, Trinidad is an international school known for its low standards and high graduation rate. It is a school that produces second-rate and mediocre Arms Masters, with no notable achievements save one: it was the Academy that produced the Hero of 1987, Angelito Jaime who single-handedly ended the war between the ASEAN member nations and China before it had even begun.
Now, though its reputation is tattered and its results unspectacular, Trinidad remains a highly populated Academy, boasting of a population of over 2000 students. This is due in part, to Trinidad's unique scholarship system that allows the lower class, who normally are unable to enroll in an Arms Masters Academy, to enroll. However, this year, things have changed; the director had suddenly passed-away, and another one has taken his place. This Director is driven, determined, and powerful. He has announced that he would be remaking the Academy into a first-rate producer of Arms Masters around the world, and he would take that first step by announcing the schools participation in the Noble Arms Summit - an international meet for all Arms Masters, and the main event is the Noble Arms Summit Student Tournament. The Director will achieve this goal by all means; even if it means culling down hundreds of incapable students.
What path will you take on the dawn of this sudden revolution?
Noble Arms: Noble Arms take the form of weaponry that were created before World War I; each Noble Arm posses powerful abilities beyond normal human capacity, however they can only be used if they are released into reality by their user. Noble Arms exist in a kind of 'hyperspace' that is unique to its user and can be called from there - in essence, an Arms Master is always armed. Noble Arms have an astonishingly versatile ability pool, from calling down fire, to strengthening the body, etc., and more often than not, possess more than one ability. However, similar to physical activity, using a Noble Arm is draining physically and moreso mentally - extended use of ability is much akin to overexerting yourself on both fronts, and as such, so much more fatal to overdo.
Noble Arm Ratings: Noble Arms are rated according to how valuable they are, and that value is determined using to factors: Rarity of effect, and military usage. The strength of a Noble Arm is thus determined by how many military and police countermeasures are in place. The rankings go from F to A. There exist Noble Arms that change strength depending on the situation, and are added with the additional "+" symbol.
Examples of determining rank and its effects is:
A Noble Arm Capable of strengthening its user is common, and can easily be countered by police officers with proper ordinance, and thus, merits an E rank, its user is not notable to the government and subsequently ignored.
On the other hand, a Noble Arm capable creating explosions in the atmosphere is uncommon and dangerous, as such, the user must undergo a government registration form and placed under mild scrutiny. The Noble Arm in question will merit a C or B rank.
Finally, there are Noble Arms that can achieve effects akin to nuclear explosions. Such Noble Arms are both rare and extremely dangerous to countries at large. Its user will be under constant surveillance and limits will be placed on the usage of their Noble Arm. Such Noble Arms are always rated A.
Trinidad Academy
Trinidad Academy is located in the Philippines, near the coast of Manila. It's funded by several important banks and a few military organizations and as such, its curriculum matches that of its investors. In this sense, Trinidad is both a school and a military academy. While the students are generally treated as normal students, those in the 11th and 12th grade go through the C.A.T - Citizen Army Training. While this is mandatory in most schools, for Trinidad which is an Academy backed by the military and the country's prime educational facility for Arms Masters, the military has a direct hand in the CAT's.
The academy has a myriad of high-tech facilities available to its students. Most can only be used during classes and can only be used outside of them if for club activities and with the permission of the director, or otherwise if reservations were made - however, reservations cost per-hour of use, making it a non-option for most students.
The Academy uses a ranking system that works on two fronts: 40% on your academics, 40% on your Noble Arms testing grades, 10% conduct, and 10% on honors brought to the academy. Students that enter the top 50 in rankings are given scholarships that include discounts to the school cafeteria and facilities, and a 40% cut of their tuition. Students in the top 20 are given more benefits, such as consideration for special trips - such as overseas training or special vacation spots courtesy of the schools backers - and a 50% cut in their tuition fee. Students in the top 5 have a 100% discount on tuition, a stipend of 5000 PHP (roughly 105 USD) every month, and free use of the schools facilities, however permission is still needed from the director, given reservations in several special training programs - some of them overseas - and vacation spots. Lastly they are exempt from being late for regular classes so long as they remain in the top 5.
Student rankings are evaluated every end of semester, with the first semester rankings being determined by the last semester of the previous years rankings. This system has been in effect since the schools inception, and the new Director plans to take full advantage of it - particularly, by increasing the number of incentives given and increasing the standards of the ranking evaluations.
The Academy has dorms that can be rented for roughly 5000 php per month.
The greatest gathering of Arms Masters in the world. Taking place only once every two years over a period of one week, the Noble Arms Summit is both a show of force and a sharing of information and abilities of Noble Arms, and is meant to progress research into the mysterious power. While older Arms Masters generally attend the summit in order to scout out potential apprentices and to update themselves on current developments, students that attend are generally only here for one thing: The Noble Arms Summit Student Tournament. The tournament is the Summit's main event and draws the eyes of the whole world. Winners of the tournament are the prime targets of sponsors, advertisement and admiration; they are practically guaranteed a good life. Eligible participants of this tournament are those in the seventh grade to college students up to the 3rd year only.
The tournament is split into two divisions: Team and Individual. Participants in the Individual Division can participate in the Team Division, however, most schools avoid doing this and usually choose to focus on one division. The require number of students in the team division is 6, and the total number of Arms Masters a school can choose to represent their school is eight. Also, there can only be 3 participant schools per country, meaning that unless a certain standard has been met, as long as those standards have not been reached, a school will not even be considered by the government body of that country.
The current Individual's champion is the USA's Joshua Bannings, and the current runner-up is China's Cuifen Jiang-yi. The current champion of the team division is Japan's Shin-Sakura Gakuen, with its captain Tomoyo Sakuragi being a previous Individual Champion three years ago.
An organization bent on pushing the importance of Noble Arms and Arms Masters, and is the chief backer of their rights globally. Many of its supporters are wealthy and well known, however, they often face strong opposition from non-Arms Masters due to the agenda's they push and the number of benefits they desire for Arms Masters.
An organization determined to limit the use of Noble Arms and the suppression of Arms Masters. Their main goal is to abolish schools and facilities dedicated to Noble Arms and to limit the occupation of Arms Masters to the military only. Often, they are supported by many labor unions and social media outlets.
A terrorist organization bent on creating a world were Arms Masters are the rulers. Their ideology is that Arms Masters are not, in fact, human, but a new superior race that deserves to be in power. Current number of members is unknown, however they have 2 confirmed A ranked Arms Masters in their ranks, a fact that worries many countries.

Noble Arm Name & Appearance: Harrow Twin short swords with black hilts and dark green etchings that seem to swirl through the blades The blades themselves are slightly curved and seem to be made of a dark grey material.
Noble Arm Abilities: Harrow absorbs the very energy from it's victims slowly draining their stamina and transfering it to Art, making him stronger and faster. This ability can even disable(temporarily) the powers of other noble arms if engaged long enough. This process only requires that Harrow is within 3 metres of his intended target. However the ground around the target being drained has a faint green glow and there is a thin trail leading towards Art. These Abilities makes Harrow a deadly enemy in short ranged battles especially to defense based noble arms users. However Harrow can only drain one person at a time a weakness that makes facing more than one opponent rather dangerous for Art. Also Art can control 1 sword using his mind up to 10 metres away giving him a chance for surprise attacks and a small chance against long distance arms users. Personality: Dispite his childish apperance Art is a rather mature and quiet indivdual. He isn't prone to socialisation preferng to be in the company of computers or books. Art is an especially driven indivdual and can often be found rather training or studying for the academic studies. He is very good at staying organised and following orders. Bio: Art comes from Yellowknife in the North West Territories of Canada. His mother died when he was very young and his father being a wealthy man demanded success from Art in all aspects of life. Art was often punished for even the most minor of outbrusts and learned to hold his tongue to avoid beatings. Art never managed to make friends in Yellowknife, his father deemed the other children to be distractions from reaching his "true" potential. When Art did manage to slip away from his fathers thumb he would go and fish in the nearby lakes. When his father discovered these trips Art was surprised to hear his father praise him for learning a survial skill. While Arts childhood was harsh it has made him and an expectional academic as well as physically fit. Art can speak English & French fluently. When Art dicovered his noble arms his father quickly enrolled him into the Trinidad academy. Art wanted to question why Trinidad but didn't dare question it.

His noble arm is a Pata sword, and his ability is to blink ten metres. His eyes and clothes glow when he is about to blink and it looks like he is digitally fading and reappearing in and out of existence.
@Brisingr626 I'd like a given height for him please :) Also, on his abilities, just a few questions:
How can you tell if he's using his draining ability? I'd like for there to be a special condition or at least a mark of where and when he's using ability so you don't exploit the 3 meter requirement. I mean, he could just hide anywhere within 3 meters and every sucker within range is a potential victim, if you know what I mean ^_^
As for his rank as a student . . . hm, how well do you think he does academically, in a combat situation, and how well behaved is he in school? :D

Noble Arm Name & Appearance: Her Noble Arm is a twin set of rapiers named "Draecion Crashes", they have 5/6 meter blades made of a shiny almost black metal with a stripe of red running down the edge and center of the blades. The hilts of the swords are of German Pappenheimer style which covers the whole top of the hand and back of the hand with a swirled hand guard.
Noble Arm Abilities: Aleksis is able to absorb and redirect Kinetic energy from things inside her line of sight while it's inside the range of about 3 1/2 meters. After absorbing a certain amount of kinetic energy Aleksis can launch a red long range wave of the energy that, depending on the amount, can launch an average human with a low amount of energy or obliterate a bunker or city after absorbing a massive amount of energy like a nuclear explosion. Whenever she uses her ability her eyes turn from silver to red and her physical prowess increases 10-fold for a maximum of 7 seconds just before she releases the energy wave but after this she returns to her natural state. one weakness is that it takes time for her to charge up her energy wave which means that those who could end the battle quickly have the advantage unless they use an explosion which would just feed her enough kinetic energy to use against them.
Personality: Aleksis is a pretty lazy girl but is also hardworking when she wants or needs to be and this is both a blessing and a curse because she isn't really taken seriouisly by some people when they aren't talking about powers. If anything she hates talking to people in person and prefers to be on the other side of a headset microphone or cellphone just because there is a way to instantly end the conversation.

Bio: Aleksis hadn't always been a loner, when she was a child she was actually very social and nice but then something changed after her mother and father separated when she was five years old. She never understood why they broke up but she had taken it to heart and she began to slow down with her socializing as well as her sports activities though kept up with fencing practice. What really shut her down though was that her mother and father began dating other people before even a month was out since they had broken up. That was the straw that broke the camel's back, she felt as though the two had just betrayed her. In the following few years her room became more and more fortified from the inside out, her door had deadbolt locks installed and her room almost became a house itself though Aleksis still had to go out to get food and drinks though didn't talk to her mother or her new boyfriend. When they discovered that Aleksis possessed a Noble Arms her mother sent her to the academy without a word to her father though she doubted that he would really care.
@TheHangedMan I've made the adjustments to Harrow When it comes to Art I would say he would excel in academic situations and would be better behaved than most. His main weakness would be group projects or teamwork. His disinterest in other people would more than likely create a few enemies for him as well. In terms of combat I would say if it was a one on one with another melee arms user he has a pretty good chance especially if his opponent doesn't know his abilities. He would struggle to deal with opponents who focus on very quick and deadly styles of combat and would have difficulty dealing with ranged weaponry especially if they can blast through cover or there is no cover. I would say if he has to face two defense or slow melee enemies he has slightly less than 50% chance of winning.
I don't know where that would leave him in the rankings. So just let me know what you think.

@Brisingr626 Looks good~! Feel free to move him to the CS once you pick a rank; 28% Academics, 20% Noble Arms Mastery, 6% conduct, 1% School Honors; 55% total Honor Points. Out of 2500+ students, that would rank him slightly above average. So he'd probably be around the 1500-1000 bracket. Take your pick from any number in between :)
@TheHangedMan Academicly Aleksis is an almost straight A student in all classes except for those that force her to work alongside other students or a large group. She usually sinks back into herself until others are done talking and just does the assignment herself, allowing for others to ride on her coattails and coast along after her by her putting all their names on the work. Her lack of communication with her classmates has led to her not making not only any enemies other than hecklers but also any allies as well and has even made a few teachers stop asking her if she had gotten the materials as all they will get is a silent nod or a mumble of affirmation.... So in other words while she has not caused any problems her social skills are sorely lacking. In combat even though she cannot produce explosions from the tip of her blade her ability to draw out a battle until her opponent gives her enough energy to blow them away with a large blast of kinetic energy leads her to be a formidable foe. This ability as well as the fact that she could rob an attack of most of it's kinetic energy to soften the blow of the hit of completely negate it though only things in her line of sight help her defeat those that come her way without bothering to learn about her.. Aleksis is able to fight against pretty much any type of weapon even fire arms as she could rob the kinetic energy from the bullets themselves and fire a wave back at the shooter. She can even fight multiple opponents which charges her ability even faster. She is as accurate with her swords as a sniper with a gun
Noble Arm Name & Appearance: Naught Naught is the name for Adolf's pistol, A modified C96 Mauser. while it isn't part of his noble arm he carries a separate Sabre for melee combat.
Noble Arm Abilities: Naught's scope can give Adolf foresight on his intended target showing him where his opponent will be allowing him to target that location. It's rounds are tremendously powerful and capable of piercing almost anything including some weaker noble arms. Naught gets it's name, however, from it's ability to nullify other noble arms' powers, it affects Adolf passively stopping effects targeted at him and affects others on successful hits, even a grazing shot will weaken another arms master till they can longer use their abilities. This ability does not stop attacks directed at Adolf, but it does have an extremely powerful form in which it can destroy another noble arm entirely though it also temporarily severs Adolf's link to Naught and leaves him in an extremely weakened and possibly near-death state depending on the exact power required to destroy the opposing noble arm.
Personality: Adolf can seem like a nice person, and he is for the most part though he can be cold at times and has a tendency to be casually brutal at times. He always tries to appear confident and rarely lets fear, worry, or sadness show.
Fears: Naught's effect on him.
Bio: Adolf was born in Germany and found out about his Noble arm very early on in his life and not long after finding out he was being put through schools and academies for arms masters, going through a few before settling in one. He did well in his classes and even joined a few tournaments, usually placing highly. His best tactic was to use Naught to weaken his opponent and then finish the fight with either his handgun for ranged combat or use his sabre. He had a bit of a name for himself in Germany, he was no celebrity but he was known among the tournament crowd. It wasn't until his fight with a particularly skilled arms master that he discovered his weapons full ability, he'd made a desperate move when it looked like he was going down and charged his weapon without realizing it, the shot that hit his opponent shattered his noble arm. Adolf blacked out soon after. He woke up five day later. No one was sure what to make of it and he wound up going out of the country to continue his education, enrolling in Trinidad Academy.
@Zetsuko Hm, the passive canceling of abilities is a bit much. I think that it would be better if the ability cancellation only works if the rounds directly hit the user or the ability. Naught is already a fairly strong Noble Arm, after all. Asides from that, everything else is fine :) So going by the criteria for ranking, how do you say he ranks out of 2500?
@Zetsuko Yeah, I know it stops stuff from affecting him, but given the nature of some Noble Arms, it's a bit OP, since he can break weaker Noble Arms already. Anyway, 1700-1900 his in the lower brackets, mind you. The smaller the number the higher the rank xD I'm guessing he's somewhere in-between the 1000-700 brackets, so pick any number in between there.
