@Altasaire@Progenitus@Jay Kalton@The ghost in black@KindledBeast@EklispeSatisfied with all the students having shown themselves, Sir Dan began writing on the blackboard.
"Now, as some of you may know, classes will be half-day today, so that means you'll be leaving early. I've been told that you are to avoid passing by the main road on the way home and go through suburbs instead. Also, it's been recommended that students that are not being picked up by a guardian must at least have another student accompanying them at this time."When the instructor stepped away from the board, it held the course outline for the subject, and the amount of time they were expected to take on each of them. There were quite a few things on them, but first and foremost, the first thing they were going to tackle was Emergency Evacuation Drills.
"Now, I'll firstly, I would like to point out that this subject is not all about using your Noble Arm in combat in conjunction with other teammates. It's also a simulation of situations that require flexible use of your Noble Arm and the ability to work with anyone as the situation demands. On that note, for the first part of the term, you will still be having set teams of two. I've randomly paired students to work together as a group for this time.
"Abraham, Winston and Miss Nishka."
"Leroux, Claire and Shorbrooks, Aleksis"
"Isamaru, Takumi and Mortem, Yuri."
"Gloria and Marquez, Nate."
"These will be your teammates for the duration of the term." Afterwards, Sir Dan simply outlined more of what they were going to be doing the term when the bell for recess rang. Turning to the class, he made one final announcement:
"We don't have classes after this, but there is going to be a general assembly in the auditorium after recess, so make sure you're there!" The recess break lasted for an hour and a half, after which all the students began gathering in the auditorium.
@TheWildBunnii Addey glared at Catalina's back, before snarking.
"Yeah, that's right, run like the coward you are. What else did I expect from someone who calls for daddy to help her instead of dealing with it herself." Without so much as another word, Addey stalked off to her next class.
Auditorium - 1 hour later
The teachers and instructors shuffled around nervously in their seats. They weren't nervous about being in front of all of Trinidad's students. No, they were nervous because of the man that took the leftmost seat among all the teachers. The Principal, being the man right next to the Director, had nearly broken out into a cold sweat.
"S-so, how is your time here, sir?"
The Director stared at him, and for a moment, his breath got caught in his throat. Then the man smiled. "It's been good my friend! Truly, I feel honored to be given the task of having to guide these students. I must thank you for convincing the other instructors to accept my position."
Nodding fervently, the Principal said nothing more. Soon, a student walked up the podium, and on pinned on her chest was a silver triangular badge, with the school coat of arms on it.
The Vice-President of the Student Body Representatives, Katherine Elena, also the Ranked #10 in the whole school.
The calm looking young lady faced the crowd.
"Good morning to everyone of you here, and let me say it's a pleasure to see you all here again. The first general assembly of the year has begun, so let us . . ." For a good few minutes, Katherine went on with the typical lines one expected to hear during a dull speech. Half of the students had dozed off, and many were eagerly awaiting the time when they could just
leave. Katherine appeared to not have noticed this, and kept on with her long drawl of a speech. Some of the other teachers were visibly trying to keep themselves awake.
Then, she said something that got everyone awake again. Something many had been waiting for and the only reason why the students were interested in the assembly in the first place.
"I would also like to introduce to all of you a certain someone I'm sure you've all been eager to see," she said, her eyes flickering to the man in the leftmost seat.
"It is my honor to introduce our new School Director. Please come on stage sir." And so, the man himself walked towards the mic, and it was then that something extraordinary happened. It was not magic, or the weather, or even the effect of a Noble Arm. It was simply the mans presence, the gravity he had about him that made the students feel the ground tremble. The world shook and time seemed to have stopped. The auditorium, once filled with the sound of chattering voices and barely concealed snores fell into complete silence.
No one new how to explain it or what exactly had happened, but it was clear . . .
"Good morning students, it's an honor for me to be here." . . . that with the arrival of this man . . .
"While it is my first time to ever have been in a position like this," . . . . gears were set in motion . . .
"but I assure you, I know what I am doing, and I vow to bring this school to greater heights." . . . and everything . . .
"And while you do not know me, I assure you, I will do my best to know everyone of you," . . . would . . .
"for that is my duty as this academy's director." Change The man looked at the students, and his gaze seemed to sweep through all of them as if he had just stared at each and everyone one of them directly. A smile graced his face, and the world seemed to tremble in response.
"I stake the name of Angelo Sin it. It's a pleasure to meet all of you."
