First off, thank you all for waiting, I appreciate your patience and will try to make it worth your while.

Second, if everyone could get there own posts up within three, four days at the most, that would also be appreciated; I did ask for dedicated participants, so don't make me kill anyone off right at the start.

With regards to the RP itself:

As you may have gathered, there are, possibly on the Hive World itself - possibly not...- four great tomes of power, one dedicated to each of the Chaos Gods, authored by a Dark Apostle of the Word Bearers. When bought together something happens, although no-one really knows, not even the guy who wrote them! Just did as he was told, really.

For now, please feel free to post up an introductory post for your characters, just another day in the Hive; they can more-or-less be doing what they like, until I herd them together through the magic of plot devices.

Do they knows about the tomes? If so, how much do they know? Do you even want them to have prior knowledge? Why are they on the planet in the first place, what/who has bought them there in the first place?

If they/you wish to interact with any NPC's, I'm happy to take on various roles (I am GM after all), so feel free to do that as well, or write them yourselves - just remember to ask me first, so that I can tell you what they know and so on.

I'll probably get a list of important people, locations and so on up at some point, but it's early days for now.

To Answer your question though, no. I'd rather it not be one of the four integrally important boks of the entire plot, cheers very much. It can, however, be a tome of heretical knowledge containing a fragment within it if you like.

AAActually, if you want it to be a copy, I suppose that could work; just how accurate it would be/how faithful to the original after 10k years I'm not quite sure. If accurate at all.

@JbcoolMy thoughts was that it was a poorly cobbled-together copy of info on each god, with the vast majority of the info being lost or horribly mangled. Just enough info would be left for Sanath to be confused and curious for more.

Draco never actually learned any rituals from the voices in his head; The ones that he and his small cult use are rituals that he created himself with the resources and talents that he had on hand combined with some common sense observations that the voices in his head have provided him with. For example, each god has their own 'food' day, in which a meal that Draco believes would appeal to them is served up in a manner that would hopefully appeal to them.

Granted these rituals are less to earn blessings and more to earn some general good will, but it is something a bit different then the norm.

Ah made a post. And might I say, everybody else seems to have done quite well in what they've done with their characters thus far.

EDIT: By the way, will there be equivalents to mutations from the Black Crusade book present upon the characters either at the start of the game or later on? Or will they just be applied as and when desired or needed?
