Could I reserve both Virginias, Maryland, Washington D.C., New Jersey and Pennsylvania for me please?

I'm planning to create a United Socialist Council Republics of America with a democratic socialist ideals.

Unfortunately I've already reserved PA and a bit of NJ for my own nations (home state pride! ). You could take Delaware if you want tho.
You can still have the rest though although personally I see as USCRA more feasible on the west coast given how much more pro-socialism they are. Just my own two cents though, don't need to do it.

If I end up playing, I'm thinking of snagging some territory in Mexico, or maybe in Panama. Those are both fairly out of the way, yet could get involved in different ways. (I.E. a Mexico concerned with restoring the old country may try invading California/Texas, and Panama could try and become a proper merchant state of the new era.)

EDIT: Alternatively, I'm kind of relishing the idea of creating a Pueblo state, too... EDIT 2: Or someone that wants to reform the Comancheria, putting them in direct conflict with Texas. Or some Quebec nationalists that finally get to see their crazy dream realized. ...Hmmm.

The thing is that Texas is already taken by someone and that the RP is really only supposed to be taking place in the USA (hence why I said that the US isolated itself and we'll just say that Trump's wall got built as well as a new Canadian wall).

The other ideas are good, just remember to be active if you want to be in direct contact/conflict with Texas as there's no doubt going to be a lot of action down there then.

Oh, so it was a very literal build-a-wall style of isolation we're talking about. Okay. I wasn't sure if that was the case since the map has pretty much the whole of North/Central America cut into regions.

Yeah, I know Texas is taken, which is why the Comancheria isn't the highest on my list - though having someone I can designate "opponent" from the start could be good. I don't have any intention of "winning" a conflict, but for directly being involved in someone else's story.

If I scratch off the out-of-States nations I'd be tempted to play (Quebec, Cuba, and a part of northern Mexico being the most prominent), I'm most tempted to play some sort of Pueblo or otherwise Southwestern U.S. Native nation. I'll need to do some research to make sure I remember everything correctly, but I think I'd want to take the Four Corners (west New Mexico, southwestern Colorado, southeastern Utah, and northern Arizona). That makes my nation include most of the Southwestern reservations, which is what I want for this idea... and the Grand Canyon, which would make for an awesome capital city.

Yeah, that's what I'll claim. I'm feeling pretty confident that I'm going to want to participate in this thread, so I'm going to outright sign up for it now. (Probably just gonna be in 4 roleplays total instead of 3. I only need to post IC 1/2 times a week in my present roleplays, so...)
