Bilbo tried to keep turned over on his back, hoping the man wouldn't approach them or try and hurt the group. But he simply shuffled around, spoke to a few of the animals, and disappeared around the corner.
The next morning, when he woke up, the other dwarves weren't lying around him anymore, but he could hear them talking with Gandalf around the corner.
"Alright, now, Maleficent was serious when she said it's best not to overcrowd him! So, only come out when I give the signal, and come out in pairs! Ah, Bilbo, you'll do yes, you can come out with me."
"Oh uh...is-is this a good idea?" the hobbit questioned warily, remembering what Gandalf had also said last night, about being torn to shreds if they did startle the intimidating strange man.
