After receiving permission, Sirina gently danced her fingers across Aenir's head. A surge of cold came from the ghost type, radiating throughout her entire body and causing goosebumps to pop up on her arms. She kept the contact for a few moments, before she moved her gentle hands away, a smile on her face. "Thank you." she stated. "That.. it was an experience i will not forget."

Nana flicked an ear. <And how do you know where he was for the eight years before you met him?> she challenged. <It is quite possible for humans to have interactions with pokemon at a young age, even if they do not own them. I met Sirina when she was six. She already had Spud with her, though he was still a Wooper back then.> Then she shook her head and her mane. <If i wasn't on duty i would consider helping your trainer myself.>

Tamaki beamed at Marill. <Okie dokie! This is going to be sooo much fun. I'm going to race like super fast.. like ten billion cars and a monster truck with jet engines. VROOM!> he giggled joyously before turning to face the newcomer. <She looks nice. And she smells kind of sweet.>

Nana glanced up as Liza.. the new girl held out a closed fist to her. Weird. She'd been trained to only attack if Sirina ordered it, or she perceived a threat. Right now.. she didn't know what to think about the girl before her. She just planted her hind end on the ground, staring directly at the girl as she complimented Nana. <Nice try. Anyone can say something like that. You are going to have to prove yourself to me just like every other trainer and pokemon here.> She did appear to relax outwardly and was at least not growling anymore. Though she refused to approach Liza, and kept an eye on the newcomer.

<Oh.. come on then Nana.. Don't be so paranoid!> Spud toddled over, giving the girl a broad smile. <Nice to meet you!> He reached out and clenched the fingers on his hand slightly. <Fist bump!> He bumped a slimy fist against her warm one, giving a dopey laugh as he did so.

Sirina smiled. "It's been a while since anyone has actually conquered the Pokemon league. Best of luck to you, Liza." The last time someone had defeated the elite four was at least ten or so years ago. Sirina had a vague memory of watching a battle on television. Then her eyes lit up as Liza spoke. "What kind of job did your grandmother do? If i remember correctly, Arcanine are highly regulated because they can be dangerous if not trained properly." She winced as Nana refused to even sniff the newcomer, and Spud came over and gave her a fist bump. "Sorry. Like i said. Nana will take some time. The Quagsire who fist bumped you is Spud. And the other pokemon i have is Tamaki. The little Dratini over there." she gestured at the tiny creature as it waved the very tip of its tail in their direction.

Then she turned a bright shade of pink as Devon spoke. "Oh.. i'm sorry. Of course.. I just... got a little excited you see. It's not every day you come across a Froslass who is so friendly." She disengaged the breaks on her wheelchair, and gripped the wheels before starting off towards Vertigo. Immediately, Nana was at her side, tail swishing as she kept a close eye on Sirina"You know, Lisa... You and I are both in the gym Circuit. I'm also going for the elite four. Though I'm not set to be the Champion or anything. So.. we could maybe help each other along the way somehow?"

Xavier

ROUTE 701

Skyline continued to fly through the blue skies, heading right for Vertigo City. Making excellent time compared to merely walking there. Xavier's intense desire for food, kept him from realizing something until he turned his head. He almost said this aloud but thought instead "Wait...where the hell is Greed?" His eyes began to scan the ground for any sign him but he wasn't there. Which made him question just how long was he not there? He couldn't answer that question because he honestly didn't know.

"Skyline, stop! Greed is gone." Xavier stated in a slightly louder than normal tone of voice as Skyline's initial reaction was a sigh followed by <...Really? Where the helk did he go?> as he stopped flying and quickly descended down to the ground on a soft field of grass next to the road, where no one else was. As Xavier slid down Skyline's back and looked around seeing trainers and some pokemon flying through the sky but no sign of Greed. Skyline being hungry and impatient roared out. <"GREED!"> loud enough that other pokemon in the area could probably hear him. Xavier wasn't even sure how to feel but he was hungry, so he was in no mood for this. "Greed come on! Are you hiding?! I'm not in the mood dammit!" Xavier cursed rather loudly amused, probably loud enough for other humans to hear him.

"I'm hiding, you can't find me."Greed teased playfully, as Xavier heard it in his mind. Xavier let out an annoyed groan."Greed! I swear if you don't..." Xavier says stopping himself realizing, what he was going to say. "I won't feed you." wouldn't help much because Greed didn't eat.

"You'll what? Kill me?" Greed retorted with a snicker. As Xavier growled out, as Skyline was looking around for him still. Xavier at that moment knew what to do as he reached inside his pocket and tossed his pokeball to free Betrayed, his Mightyena. As Betrayed stretched out looking at Skyline and then Xavier. "Betrayed, please find Greed..." Xavier instructed politely trying to speak in a calm voice. But his frantic expression and movement, made it clear that he was annoyed. Betrayed looked at Skyline. Betrayed's stomach let out a loud rumble sound. <"I'm starving..."> Betrayed stated, <"What's going on now?"> she asked Skyline. As Skyline looked down at her.

<"Greed's annoying the master again. He's also the one holding us back from eating our breakfast."> Skyline replied. Those were the last words she needed to hear Mightyena sniffed the air and scanned around briefly as she immediately pointed him out like a hunting dog, pointing out a nearby bush. As Xavier saw her do so, and ran up to the bush where Greed popped out with a grin. "Surprise!" Greed chimed playfully. Xavier wasn't finding his antics amusing as Skyline and Betrayed both gave him a similar glare. Xavier pulled out his pokeball for Greed, which caused Greed to looked a bit in surprise.

"You're going in here, until we arrive." Xavier stated as Greed looked at how serious Xavier sounded and looked. Greed let out a sad sigh. "I was just having some fun." Greed muttered to Xavier looking rather depressed about it, like he was a child being put in time out, as Xavier gave him a glare.

"Well, no more games until I say so, or you will be put in the ball. Got it? Xavier warned as Greed quickly nodded his head. Xavier looked at Betrayed and put her back inside the pokeball. "Thanks, Betrayed. You can go back in here," Xavier said as he knew she didn't like being out often without a reason as he looked at Skyline. "Still able to fly?" Xavier asked Skyline as Skyline's stomach answered him, growling loudly as Skyline rubbed its stomach a bit, Skyline would like to get there quickly but he didn't have enough energy to fly all the way there. Xavier rubbed the back of his head.

"I suppose, I can walk the rest of way...You got us pretty far Skyline. Go ahead and take a break." Xavier said not wanting to tire Skyline out, sending him back inside his pokeball. As his legs did feel less tired being able to rest but that didn't make him any less hungry. So he glared at Greed some before he started walking onto the road, as Greed followed closely behind looking somber. While he continued to walk, Xavier hoped he wouldn't have any more incidents before he could have his breakfast.

"Thank you for waiting.
We've restored your Pokémon to full health.
We hope to see you again!"

Nurse Joy presented a tray with four poke balls placed carefully in their spots to the young man at the counter. The dark haired trainer smiled and thanked the Nurse before picking up the poke balls and placing three of them on the magnetic belt on his hip. He enlarged the one he kept in his hand by pressing the button and released the pokemon inside it. A jolly, cheerful totodile popped out from inside, waving it hands up and down in excitement with its newfound health. The trainer kneeled and the totodile quickly climbed up on his back. "You're feeling all better, huh?"

Wye, the forementioned trainer, left the Pokemon Center with Blu the Totodile on his shoulder. "Ah... We should find a nice place to sit and relax. I don't like it when those three are in their pokeballs," he grumbled. "If Walden just didn't keep running off..." The young man sighed as he started to walk around the city aimlessly, his Town Map in his bag still.

@Draconequis

"Sorry. Like I said, Nana will take some time. The Quagsire who fist bumped you is Spud. And the other pokemon I have is Tamaki, the little Dratini over there.

You know, Lisa... You and I are both in the gym Circuit. I'm also going for the elite four. Though I'm not set to be the Champion or anything. So...we could maybe help each other along the way somehow?"

Liza smiled as her knuckles were gently tapped by Spud; she responded in kind by rubbing its large, rotund head, before pulling away after her hand felt a lot more slippery than before.

Drips of mucus dribbled and bounced off of her fingers, before finally pooling up on the road. Right...Quagsires were amphibious. Amphibians need mucus to keep moisture...totally not gross, but the Quagsire's beady, happy little eyes had the infectious effect of making people happily give zero hecks, so she rubbed her hand clean off the side of her jeans.

God, Spud was adorable.

"I wouldn't mind...but I just started my journey. I don't have much to offer, as of now. I'll be happy to trade Pokegear numbers, though, if something does come up."

She wasted no time rolling up the sleeve of her left wrist, before shaking a black bracelet twice. From a small bump in the bracelet, a lens projected a rectangular screen across her wrist, showing a stylish homescreen with a grid of apps to choose from. With a light tap on her skin, the Contacts app was opened, and a 'Contact Search' was activated.

It was certainly unlike anything most would ever see; the aspect of a screen was skipped entirely in favor for a more flexible surface - clothing, skin, anything, really.

"Just write in the number here, and call it; it should record your number as well..."

While her voice certainly didn't show it, she was quite excited to use something so strange; Kanto was often derided as one of the backwater regions in terms of technology, barring the still-recovering Sylph Co. And thank Sylph for making such wonderful technology to steal!

"I didn't know...um...about my Grandma's job. Things weren't always so...regulated, back in the day, I'd have to guess. The family never talked about it, or anything about Granny, so I only really go by memory. I was...what, 3, when I last saw her?

...I'll talk about it more, but I'd also like to get moving, too."

'Rook' Vaahn

@Sketcher

Arriving in Vertigo city with anyone who he was travelling together with or anyone who was on their way there, Vaahn looked to Twix who had returned from his guard duty. seeing the pokémon center he gave a sigh he had to suddenly correct his course as he almost bumped into a trainer with a Totodile. "Woah... Sorry... I weren't looking ahead" he said with a sigh as he stopped to look to the Trainer, his Sylveon stopped as well and for a moment he just awkwardly smiled. He looked to the water type before nodding "Well isn't that quite a good looking Totodile you got there. Would it be too awkward to request a battle?... you see, I really need to burn off some excess energy out of Twillelix here once a while... otherwise he goes all Super Hyperion on me" he said laughing at his slightly bad pun he guessed.

However as he glanced to his Sylveon the Pokémon quickly grinned and leaped up and down as he were ready to take up on his Vaahns will to battle, after all the Totodile might not be what he had in mind but he were always eager anyway so it made little difference to him. The Two of them looked to each other as they looked around for a suitable place to have a battle, near the pokémon center there usually was a battle field for just that... however he might have gotten a bit ahead of himself as the other trainer haden't had the chance to accept or decline yet.

Xavier

ROUTE 701

Xavier only walked along the trail with Greed behind him for approximately three minutes, kicking up the dirt from the trail dragging his feet a bit. Looking up at the sun, wondering if he could get there before nightfall, he knew he might still have over an hour of walking too do and he his stomach was frankly killing him, he had run out of energy but he was low on options. He had already past the pokemon center on Skyline, no trainers were around him either as it was getting late and he figured most of them probably took shelter in the pokemon center. But Skyline was tired too. Xavier was also keeping a close eye on Greed who was hovering low to the ground, looking upset. As Xavier looked at him.

"It's fine Greed, I'm usually fine with joking around. I didn't mean to snap at you..." Xavier apologized as he smiled at Greed causing him with smile back making him going up to up to his shoulder. With that out of the way Xavier looked up ahead and moved forward as it all happened in an instance, after another minute of walking Xavier somehow missteps, tripping over something, causing his foot is move a little further in a bad direction. Xavier was about to fall to the ground as Greed stopped him from taking a face plant into the dirt. Xavier stops halfway nearly in midair as Greed sets him gently on the ground. As Xavier sighs and holds his foot as it hurt.

"Dammit! Just my luck." Xavier groaned. Greed spoke to Skyline via telepathy as he could do it to anyone, at practically any distance. <"Skyline. Xavier might of temporarily hurt his foot. You might need to fly him there after all."> Greed then telepathically spoke to Xavier. "Skyline said he felt better, and wants to fly you there." Greed lied to Xavier as Xavier opened up his pokeball letting Skyline back out. Skyline thought something in his head preparing himself for a flight, not wanting Xavier to injure himself more by trying to walk there. Skyline and Greed helped Xavier on Skyline's back. Xavier holds on and smiles.

"Thanks you two, I don't know what I'd do without you all." Xavier stated gratefully. Skyline took a deep breath he looked at Greed. <"Tell him to hold on tight, I'm going as fast as I can."> Skyline told Greed. Without Greed saying anything Xavier begun to hold on tight, as if he could read his mind. Greed sat on Xavier's shoulder. Skyline took a moment to prepare and quickly dashed into the air, flying him fast figuring going quickly will actually take less time and wear him out less. As Xavier held on to Skyline's quick take off to the city...

Nothing else happened in those hours, it was growing darker as the city begun to light up. It was slightly amazing to see for Xavier. With adrenaline pumping, or maybe just more of a desire to eat then to rest. Xavier watched as Skyline quickly started to descend downward, and make and entrance in the front of cities entrance landing down. Xavier hopped down as his foot felt better that he could walk on it now. Xavier walked into the city taking a second to pause, feeling a great sense of accomplishment. He had started his adventure...

Xavier

Vertigo City

"We're here...we made it!" Xavier says excitedly though he was tired. So he struggled to speak too loudly. He smiled wide as Skyline exhaled and held his stomach as it roared quite loudly. "You did well, come back in your ball. I'll make sure you get extra spicy berries." Xavier says as he returns him as he quickly headed through the door with a relieved smile on his face thanking Arceus, that the inn/pokemon center was one of the closest things in town. Going inside, finding some various vending machines with food. He knew the stores might be closed this late, glad the pokemon center had food of some kind. He pulled out his wallet and started collecting a smorgasbord of various food items to feed him and his pokemon with extra portions for Skyline. As he earned it for getting him there in the first place.

Meanwhile Greed used a sign in sheet for a bed and a room at the inn, as it was allowing traveling trainers to stay there for a low amount of money. He was doing it while invisible purposefully trying to startle the adults nearby with a grin. Xavier held his own roaring stomach."Time to finally shut you up..." Xavier mumbled to himself as he went to get a room at the inn, looking in a bit of confusion seeing his name and payment already taken care of. Xavier quickly turned his head looking for Greed. Seeing that he was right next to him, with an innocent smile.

Devon

[Route 701]

Everyone agreed with Devon's plan of moving forward, and the teen let out a sigh of relief. "Sweet, let's roll!"

As he walked along with the group, Devon tilted his head back and stared at the clouds. Thinking over plans for his Viore adventure. Wonder what else I should do here......Looking for Mega Stones with Pent sounds pretty cool, but that shouldn't be the only thing I try out.....Maybe I could challenge a few Gyms like Liza and Sirina? Shock would defiantly go for it. Especially now that he can Mega Evolve.....Wonder what's considered the hardest Gym here? I could totally brag to Jason about it later.....

Devon came back to reality once he turned to his right to look over at Sirina and Liza making conversation. His mouth opened to add to Sirina's previous offer of a partnership with Liza for the Gym circuit when his eyes locked on Liza's wrist. The red head had a strange phone with her that made the boy gasp and point. "Whoa! Is that actually a Pokégear Liza? I've never seen anything like it before. And my Mom even works at Silph's Johto branch! Did it's Kanto branch release a new thing that's only sold in certain regions or something? What's it called?"

@Light Lord

"Ehehe...um, I think it's a Sinnoh prototype," she lied as she looked over it again. He had a good guess, that's for sure.

"I was given this by a...family friend, of sorts. I really just wanted one of the older Hoenn models, or the Unova Xtransceiver, but he insisted, so...yeah. I'm actually surprised your mom works in Silph! What does she do there? Business, research, or...?"

Liza hadn't really anticipated this to go on and on, but she had a good cover and alibi to go on now. In a group full of trainers with big, buffed up Pokemon, she wouldn't be constantly singled out by some random snot wanting to make a few quick bucks off of the nearest Trainer they saw.

Not that beating those kids wouldn't be good training.

Still, something ticked her off. Call it a pang of envy, but Liza realized her Pokemon, really just the one Treecko, was much (it pained her to say this) weaker than whatever Pent, Devon, or Sirina had on their persons : Pokemon that could walk the talk.

How did champions like the world-famous Cynthia and the legendary Red get past so many people? Wit, ability, experience, trust...all these she was sorely lacking as a Trainer just starting out.

Absent-mindedly, she had gone from a very curious face to something of a thoughtful frown as she stared into Nana's eyes.

Wye Coldren

Vertigo City

Wye was just about to walk away from the Pokecenter with his mind wandering off when he suddenly got back to reality as he bumped into someone. "Ah... It's alright," he said nervously, letting out a small grunt as Blu clasped his hair in order not to fall off. As she got her balance on his shoulder. "Hm?" He looked at the sylveon and smiled. "That sounds nice... Right Blu?" he said, turning to the totodile at the end of his sentence. The pokemon nodded in approval with an excited grin.

"We'd be up for a fun battle," he said, looking over at the pokecenter. He pointed at the side of the building, where there was a field for battling. "We could have a go there." He walked over to the battle field and stood at one end.

'Rook' Vaahn And Wye

Hearing the other Trainer accept the battle Vaahn gave a firm nod as he and his Sylveon turned towards the pokémon center and then went over there and out to the open battle area outside. He then went right ahead and went to the far side ot it and got into the trainer rectangle. Twix on the other hand stopped halfway there on the battle square and turned towards the opposing team with eagerness showing in his eyes. The Sylveon kept bouncing side to side obviously very light on his steps.

"Okay... Sorry to challenge you out of the blue, But I'm Vaahn and This is Twillelix as I said before. I think I settle for one on one if its fine with you, I rather not call out another of my team mates unless its a very serious battle" he said and looked to his Sylveon with a smile as the two of them gave a light bow.

"Nice to meet you two," Wye said, smiling. The totodile on the young man's shoulder jumped off and waddled forward. As she came to a halt, Blu let out a determined grunt. "This is Blu and I'm Wye." He shared a look with Blu and then looked over at Vaahn. "Ready?"

Vaahn raised a thumbs up gesture with his hand as he looked to the Totodile. Somehow he kinda hoped that the Totodile were well trained, it was slightly hard to tell from the start but if this battle ended in three seconds he knew it would just be unsetteling. "Woudn't be here otherwise friend... Right as courtesy rules apply... You can go ahead and take the first move, Me and Twix like both like to let our opponent go first" he said as he focused on the Totodile for a moment, as did Twix, yet then Vaahn's eye fell on the trainer instead while Twix kept his on the pokémon... after all they had two opponents here... and not just one.

"As you wish," Wye said cheerfully. "Get a head-start with Dragon Dance!" With the order, Blu's aura seemed visible for a moment as its attack and speed both rose.

"Dragon Dance eh?... Alright... Use Attract" Vaahn said and chuckled slightly as Twix puffed up his chest slightly then smiled as he spun around backflipped looked rather appealing as he fired of hearts towards their opponent.

"Get out of the way and counter with Aqua Jet!"

Blu got wrapped up in water and moved out of the way quickly while propelling herself towards Twillelix.

The high speed aqua jet projectile sure was fast, and increasingly so after a speed up. It caused Vaahn to grin slightly as Twix suddenly shot out of its way with a rather flashy side skip without him calling it. Didn't mean the Aqua jet's threat was over yet but it at least avoided direct impact. "Dig" he said simply watched as his Sylveon burried underground to avoid the water projectiled pokémon. Then it was simply a game of attempting to catch them whenever they decided to land.

As the Sylveon dug into the ground, Wye called out. "Ice Punch!" he yelled and the pokemon rolled to a stop with her fist covered in ice. Blu slammed it on the ground, freezing the ground under it.

Vaahn rubbed his cheek slightly as the ground froze, it was certainly turning out quite interesting. An ice type move like that would be hard to break through with the Dig attack mostly due to types. "Alright... Switch to Shadow Ball" he said as The Sylveon popped out of the ground somewhere else instead of beneath their opponent. It then charged up a Shadow ball and fired it off towards the Totodile.

Just as Wye was about to call out, the shadow ball slammed into the Totodile and threw it back. Blu got back to its feet quickly, roughed up. "You good to go?" Wye asked. "Let's go again! Rush it with Aqua Jet again!"

Vaahn's eyes narrowed, "Rotate your Feelers and cushion the impact" he called as The Sylveon's feelers extended and circled around in the opposite direction of the Aqua jet as they collided, potentially slowing it down to absorb some of the Impact against the Sylveon himself. Digging its feet down it still slided back quite a bit, "Wrap it up and use Drain Kiss!" Vaahn called as Twix attempted to use the oppertunity of the moment to wrap the Totodile up in its feelers and plant a kiss on its forehead.

"Aah! Blu, use....!" Blu's energy escaped her body and she fainted. "Ah..." Wye pulled out a pokeball and held it out, withdrawing the pokemon. "That was a fun battle," he said with a weak smile, rubbing the back of his head. "I'll take Blu to Nurse Joy real quick..."

As the Totodile fainted from the move the Sylveon rather gently laid it down on the ground rather than throw it for a loop as intended. Having absorbed quite a lot of the damage dealt right back to its health pool it was feeling rather fine. And as their opponent called the Totodile back Twilelix bowed gracefully as did Vaahn. "Oh... Sorry... But yeah, It sure was a blast..." he said and nodded to the trainer, "I guess I can walk you there" he said and followed the Trainer along with his Sylveon.

"Ah. Thanks," he said a bit more cheerfully. He looked at the pokeball in hand for a moment before looking over at Vaahn. "Alright. Let's go!"

Vaahn, nodded and then followed over to the pokémon center that were not really far away as they battled on the backside of it. Then decided that Nurse Joy might as well check up on his pokémon aswell while they were there. Only speaking with her in private about his Tyranitar before he decided to use the Pc in the Pokémon center to swap out his Mismagius for a Raichu as his Mismagius had a bit of heat on her at the moment.

Pent
Shinon the Lucario, Aenir the Froslass, Jill the Skarmory
[Route 701]

@BytheSpleen@Light Lord@Draconequis
Sirina's reaction to the icy Froslass brought a smile to her ghostly features. <It was my pleasure, Sirina.>

When Aenir was grilled by Nana, she hung her head letting out a light huff. <He's lived in Dendemille Town for his entire life up until he went on his journey. Vulpix and Ninetales are not native to Kalos, thus it would be exceedingly unlikely that he encountered one.> Putting a wispy arm to her chin she continued, <Besides... he's lived a rather mundane life thus far... Save his journey when he was younger.>

At Nana's offer to protect Pent, Shinon the Lucario shook his head. <I do sincerely appreciate the offer, but it shouldn't be necessary. I will suggest that he should acquire a service Pokémon, but he's very... sensitive...>

Pent had been busying himself with standing. Which was truly a chore. At least until Liza revealed her curious Pokégear which was unlike anything the Kalosian had ever seen before. "What a curious device..."

When they began moving, it was a bit of a struggle as the man limped along uneven ground. Pavement was fine, for the most part, as were other even surfaces. The dirt and grass routes between cities? It was walking set on Hard Mode. Especially if there were rocks.

Watching as his Trainer struggled, Shinon stood near the limping man, wishing that there were more he could do to help. Aenir keep vigilant in the event she needed to catch her Trainer with Psychic. Which was quite a common occurrence at this point.

Finally, Pent mustered up some more commentary regarding Liza's device. "Truly, it's a Sinnoh prototype? That's absolutely fascinating! It almost resembles the Holocaster from Kalos, with a few differences. Astounding. Technology is something, isn't it?"

Spud enjoyed Liza's gentle hands against his head. He bobbed his head excitedly before waddling off clumsily after his trainer, who had started to wheel her chair away from them.

Sirina turned her wheelchair around to face the girl again, applying the breaks and rapidly putting in her number. "Of course. That is a nice Pokegear you have there. I've got a X-transceiver. My parents wanted to make sure they can see me every night i guess." She chuckled lightly. As she finished, she disengaged her break, turned around and started rolling again. After hearing Liza talk about her grandmother.. Sirina couldn't help but think there was something else in that story.. something Sirina had no right to delve into. So she dropped the subject.

She listened to the conversation about technology. She'd never been that good at Technology herself.. her only real skill was being able to type 46 words per minute. Which wasn't even that impressive if one stopped to think about it for a moment. She could just barely use her X-Transceiver to communicate with her parents, send text messages, and call people. There was more to it.. but Sirina didn't want to mess with it and maybe accidentally break it. She maneuvered around a large gopher hole, jostling herself back and forth as the uneven ground made it slightly more difficult for her to travel. Not as bad as it could have been considering her parents had found thick tires for her wheelchair to allow her to go off-roading a bit easier.

"Devon, Pent did you want to exchange numbers as well? If we got separated and i somehow found a mega stone for one of my pokemon, i would want to keep my promise."

Nana raised an eyebrow. <Unlikely. Not impossible.> She stated. <Though i trust you would know best. You are one of his Pokemon.> She shook her fur. <Sirina is sensitive as well about her condition. I have seen her get angry if people call her 'disabled.' I can understand why he would be against having help. Being independent seems to be something valued by humans.> She flicked an ear, watching as the man limped across the pavement in a painfully slow fashion. Well, at least his pokemon knew how to help him. Sirina.. Sirina was fine as always, wheeling herself around a couple of holes and some of the bigger lumps in the road. at least the grass wasn't tall here, because if it was, Sirina would have to fold up her hair and Nana would have to carry her. She glanced to the two healthy humans of the group. They might not be so keen on having two slower companions on their journey.. especially considering Devon's insistence that they get moving. She flicked her tail, bringing her attention back to Sirina.

Xavier

Vertigo City

Xavier had already gone to his room at the inn, he paid for a larger one so his pokemon could actually all fit inside. Heading in as quick as he could so that he could set all the food down, take a seat and let out his pokemon so that they could eat. Xavier did just that, sitting on his bed and kicking off his shoes, freeing the other pokemon as Skyline and Betrayed and Titan, his Heracross we're all out. Xavier smiled at them all. "Time to eat everyone." He exclaimed quite ready to dig in, grabbing a sandwich wrapped in plastic from his bag. They all smiled and helped themselves the food. As Greed watched them, floating about watching them all start to devour the food. Skyline going right for the spicy berries with an almost blissful smile on his face as he sat on the floor.

<"Oh man, I was so hungry."> Titan gleefully remarked eating some berries. Despite, Skyline and Betrayed were too occupied eating to talk they both gave Titan a verbal sound of agreement.

<"What's so great about food anyway?"> Greed mumbles to himself. As everyone filled their stomachs, all the food in the bag was gone in a very short time. As everyone aside from Greed had a very satisfied smile as Xavier was laying on his bed, rubbing his stomach a bit. Though he felt like he ate a little too much food, it was worth it. "Hey can I go play outside now?" Greed questions Xavier, growing bored of staying there. As Xavier sat himself back up and put everyone else back in their pokeballs, as they all looked like they had full stomachs and were tired. As Xavier laid back down, head resting on his crossing arms as he thought about if he really wanted to rest. He was a little tired, but the food replenished a lot of his energy. I mean he did just get there, maybe he should explore whatever was still open since it was late but he figured the city would still have plenty of things open, at least that's what his parents told him about Vertigo City. Xavier got out of bed and put his shoes back on and tied them up. As Greed watched with a slight smirk.

"Sure, let's go outside." Xavier said as left his room leaving his bag in there, figuring he didn't need it and closed the door as Greed went through the door, and followed Xavier outside as he looked around outside seeing a lot of lights still on as he just started to look around the city. He felt almost like a kid in a candy store, wondering where to go first. Xavier looked just to make sure Greed hadn't ran off in a different direction. Glad that he was staying beside him as Greed was just floating above his head with a smile.

"Can I pull a prank now?" Greed asked Xavier. Xavier hearing his request looked around seeing not too many people outside the city then back up at him.
"On who? No one is around." Xavier questioned aloud, with Greed showing himself to only Xavier, sort of making it seem like he was talking to himself. Greed did this a lot, only because he didn't like other humans or pokemon seeing him. Greed started to fly up higher in the air to search for an answer to that question. Xavier waited on the ground looking at the signs a bit pondering his options, rubbing the back of his neck as he liked pulling pranks too, but he was so excited that he got to the city, that he really wanted to explore it more. He then decided. "Hey! Greed you can just pull a prank, just try not to get in trouble...I'll be over there if you need me." Xavier said pointing to the shop with a sign that said it was open 24 hours. He trusted Greed enough to be careful or at least he hoped he could be unsupervised. As Greed just nodded with a smirk in response. As Xavier walked to go into the store, just for curiosity sake. As Greed scanned the city to find any trainer to mess with.

"<Hmm...maybe I'll go wait near the pokemon center.>" Greed theorized with giggling to himself happy quite excited to start playing with someone as he floated on over outside the pokecenter deciding whoever walked out or tried coming in would be his first target eager to begin.

Devon

[Route 701]

Devon continued to stare at the strange wristband-like device on Liza's arm for a few moments as he walked along, nodding as she said it to be a Sinnoh prototype. "A Sinnoh prototype? So it's a new model of Pokétch? Silph and The Pokétch Company teaming up to make Pokétch's into phones now too? Awesome."

When asked what his Mother's role was at the Silph Company, Devon's eyes went back to Liza's face as he shoved his hands in his dark red hoodie's pockets. A smile came to his face. "My Mom handles the advertising side of the company. So some of those billboard and magazine ads you see around Johto and Kanto? Those are made by my Mom. She's pretty good at it too. I can't really work computers like she does. I'm better at working construction with my Dad in Sinnoh."

Sirina talked of exchanging numbers with him and Pent, and Devon was all for it. The teen nodded at the girl. "Sure Sirina. That'd be cool. Here."

The carefree Trainer fumbled his hands around in his pockets as he blew a few stray brown strands of hair out of his face. A moment later he came up with a sleek blue flip phone. Holding the new model Pokégear out to the teen girl in her wheelchair, the boy smiled. "Just throw your number in and text me. Then I can just put you in my contacts. By the way, you and Liza were talking about going for Gyms earlier? I was thinking of trying to take down a few while I'm in Viore myself. It'd be cool to have badges from three regions. You ever want help or a battle, call me."

Devon noticed Pent struggling to move on the unequal terrain, and looked back at the man as he still held the phone out to Sirina. A frown stole as his feature, and he bit his lip as addressed the Professor. "You ok there Pent? Do you need any help?"

Pent
Shinon the Lucario, Aenir the Froslass, Jill the Skarmory
[Route 701]

@BytheSpleen@Light Lord@Draconequis
When Sirina spoke about exchanging numbers, Pent looked over. "Oh... yes, I suppose that would be helpful. Let's see here..." Pent almost fell over digging through his pack when finally Aenir floated over, using Psychic to lure out a blue handheld device. A technophile would identify it as Lysandre Lab's very own Holo Caster. Though it had a strap to hang around the neck, Pent found it uncomfortable. Clearly, falling over to get to it was a significant improvement.

The floating Holo Caster made its way over to Sirina so that she could enter her number. Aenir the Froslass looked to her expectantly.

At Nana's words Aenir let out a huff. <Not impossible, no, but I'm certain he would have mentioned something about that. It's not as if he can keep a secret. Ever.> Glancing to Nana she replied, <...I see. I suppose that sheds some light on Pent's... apprehension towards help. He's finally now accepted the fact that sometimes it's necessary, but...> Putting a ribbon-like hand to her forehead she let out a soft groan, <I-I don't know. It's difficult to know how to handle the situation sometimes. What do you do...?>

Almost like magic, Devon offered Pent assistance. Assistance the man loathed, but most definitely needed. A lot. A soft, defeated groan escaped the professor's lips. "I-I'll be... fine. If I'm slowing everyone down... don't worry, you can go on ahead. I won't take offense. I can meet up with everyone in the next city, or if Jill wakes up I could potentially fly there..." It was clear the man was babbling. Shinon gave him a little nudge. "I really do not wish to cause everyone problems. If you're hungry or tired, it's fine..." With those words said, he continued to awkwardly trudge along.

Shit; she hadn't really anticipated that everyone would be far-flung into the world of tech, but a retrospective glance reminded her again that it wasn't too much to worry about. While she was busy dealing with competing for jobs most other Pokemon would fulfill, she hadn't had the time (nor the hardware) to get herself plugged into the global media.

"Pretty amazing, yeah," was all she could say to Pent's question, rhetorical or not.

As the two others, and possibly their Pokemon too, looked back at Pent, Liza took point in the lead. She had been lost in her thoughts for just a tad bit, but...hopefully they wouldn't take offense that she wasn't very open with things actually concerning battling.

"Um...I think I might have to go on ahead; my team isn't where we need to be, and it might take me a few hours to get a few exercises and battles to keep pace. I'll see you...maybe next morning in Vertigo, or the next route over?

And Pent? Maybe I'll get you to see a doctor after all this. I know a really good one back in Kanto...a chiropractor, I think that's what he was..."

Brooks

After setting down six food bowls, Brooks called out his assortment of Pokemon, including his Feraligatr. However, only five Pokemon were present. The sixth wasn't too far away, as the bat like Pokemon that he had sent out earlier finally flew overhead and landed among the rest. "Noivern, did you make sure those lost trainers got out okay?" Noivern nodded. <Yep. Peace of cake, but speaking of food, I'm starved!> Feraligatr looked over to the Dragon type. <You just had to lead a few kids out of the woods, I took down two Dragons at once. You think you're starved...> Before the Pokemon could start bickering, Brooks spoke up. "Come on guys, relax a little, you both did good out there today, and there's plenty of food to go around." He got out some food he'd gotten from the Pokemon Center and began filling up the bowls, as all of his Pokemon dug in and started eating, all thoughts of fighting or bickering gone as their bellies filled.

After that, Brooks was sitting in one of the chairs in the back area of the Pokemon Center, mindlessly watching the stars. "So Lily is a Legendary Guardian... I knew this day would come, but I thought I'd be ready for it..." He stood up and patted his partner on the back. Then dug around in his bag for a few things, holding up what appeared to be Mega Stones. "You know, I've been holding on to these things for a while now, I think I've just about found some good trainers to give them to... at least when they're ready..." Feraligatr walked over to him, looking at the stones too. <You're right about that, those things have been gathering dust in there for a while now. We don't exactly have much use for them ourselves...> Brooks understood what Feraligatr said, he agreed with him about the Mega Stones. "Like I said, though, I'll let them go when the trainers who will get them are ready for them." He slides the Mega Stones back into his bag, seeing that his Pokemon had all but finished their food. "Alright, everyone back in, let's get some rest for tomorrow." He called back all his Pokemon, picked up the bowls, and headed back inside.

Brent

Brent had been laying on the bed in the room he was staying in for some time, thinking about what Brooks had said about the legends. "It's just so hard to believe, but they could be true... to think I can actually remember mom telling me that old bedtime story about the Legendary Guardians..." Brent looked over to Cyndaquil, who seemed quite entranced in a show playing on the TV in the room. It was actually a battle of someone taking on the Elite Four in the Viore Region. The member he was fighting still had four Pokemon left, and the challenger only had one. Pretty soon it was over, the Elite Four win again it seems. Soon the program went to commercial break, catching Cyndaquil by surprise.

"Don't worry buddy, we'll make it that high one day, I just now it. We've just got to work hard, train harder, and make our way to the Viore League this year." Cyndaquil jumped up on his shoulder, his usual perch, looking like he was ready to take on the world. <I know I could beat those guys! They don't seem so tough, soon I'll be a big and strong Typhlosion! Just you wait Elite Four, I'll be coming for you!> Brent chuckled at the enthusiasm his little fire type companion had. "Simmer down there, champ, you've got a long way to go, both of us do." He patted his small partner on the back. "We'll make it one day though, I just know it."

Ranger Union

"Storm, you see anything on our end?" Asked Aiden to his partner Sandslash, who shook his head no in reply. <I don't see any trace of the enemy, are you sure about this?> Aiden opened his styler and opened up the communication function. "Voicemail Voicemail! Dreams, you got anything on your end?" A second later he got a reply. "Negative, this side looks clear. Maybe we were wrong about this... what is it Ark? Hang on, Ark's onto something... might get over here in case it's something important." Aiden looked down at his partner, and looked back to his styler. "Roger, I'll be over there in a sec, Ridge out." He then took off running along the edge of the lake, heading for the far side where Lola had gone to.

Team Royal Skies

"Sir, we're getting nothing on the scanner, the target may not be in the vicinity, or the equipment just isn't strong enough to detect it." Galahad put his hand up to his chin, trying to think of a solution. That's when another grunt rushed forward. "Sir! We've got trouble! I just spotted one of those Pokemon Rangers heading this way!" Galahad continued to think, and came to a quick conclusion. "Shut down the operation, and load the gear back up on the truck! Also, let's give the Rangers a parting gift so we can escape undetected: Set the surrounding forest ablaze!" The grunts saluted and proceeded to use a good number of Fire Pokemon to set a good number of trees in the surrounding area on fire.

While this was happening, the remaining grunts loaded up all of their equipment onto the trucks. The fire grunts hurried back as the fire began to spread, jumping on the truck just as it took off through the forest. Meanwhile, Galahad had to have a word with his leader. "My liege, this operation has failed for the moment. We were nearly discovered by Rangers, and our equipment was not powerful enough to detect the target's location. There must be a solution!" Through a video monitor was the shadowy outline of the man Galahad spoke to. "There may be one solution, I will send you the coordinates immediately of a new secondary target. Capture it, and you can use it to increase the power of your equipment, I guarantee it." With a wave of his hand, a set of coordinates appeared on the screen. After Galahad had put them in the GPS, the image went black. Galahad wondered what this new target could be, if it could increase the power of his equipment with the utmost certainty as his liege described.

Sirina typed her number smoothly into the phone, texting herself so she would have his number, handing it back to Devon, a soft smile dancing across her face. "Yeah, i would love to get help. I... I'm not the most confident at battling. Not sure i will be any good at all honestly."

Sirina smiled at Aenir, brushing her fingers against the Holo Caster. She repeated the same thing she'd done with Devon's phone, nodding gently at the ghost type. "You are very helpful.. thank you." she nodded.

Nana chuckled, her voice wheezing. <True. Humans are difficult. Honestly.. the only reason Sirina allows me to help her is because she cannot walk at all. It is mainly if a human has no choice. Sirina has no sensation in her legs, she can never stand. I cannot speak for how you should handle his.. disability.. because Sirina is very much different than him. With her chair, she can go just as fast as a person who is running. She relies on her arms to get around, I have seen her fall from her chair, and refuse my help so she can get back on herself. But i have also seen her ask for help if she needs it. Like that time her wheelchair's break failed and her chair rolled all the way down the hill without her. I carried her down.> she shook her mane, glancing over at her trainer.

Sirina glanced over to Pent. She hadn't wanted to say anything about his shuffling gait because she admired the fact he was still walking despite the fact that it looked painful. He could have easily just plopped into a wheelchair. Though.. she wouldn't have wanted to be sitting in this chair if she had the choice to stand. "You.. do seem as if you are in pain." she stated. She wasn't planning on leaving him behind, as that would be rude. She fumbled awkwardly with her chair. "Uhm.. i.. don't usually do this.. but I really don't want to leave you behind... because that would be mean.. but if you like.. you could try using my chair.. and i could get on Nana. She's carried me before. It could get us through this rough patch. I mean.. only if you want though. I definitely don't want to force you to do something you don't want to." She certainly hoped that what she said wouldn't offend him or cause any trouble. She knew she was treading on dangerous waters giving suggestions to someone with problems walking. She'd seen how sometimes people reacted unfavorably first hand. And she'd been on of the people to react unfavorably herself a few times.

Devon

[Route 701]

Pent's extremely unconvincing confirmation that he was fine bugged Devon. He wasn't really the bossy type, so coming up with a reply to the crippled man was difficult. A short laugh sneaked out of his mouth before the teen shook his head to Pent. "No way. I'm not gonna leave ya Pent. We can take our time. Really, I don't mind taking it slow." With that said, Devon refaced the road in front of him as he continued walking along at a comfortable pace. The smile on his face hid the bit of guilt he had in the back of his mind. We are going pretty slow.....I did want to try to get to the next city before sunset but at this rate? That's not happening....Argh! What am I doing? I sound like such a dick.....It's not like Pent or Sirina can help it.....I just need to suck it up, and accept the fact that this journeys gonna be a bit slower then usual......Ugh...Maybe there's some halfway point that we can stop at? Before Vertigo? This Route's way longer then I thought it would be.....

Then Liza spoke up, causing Devon to look over at the red head and frown. "If you want to Liza, go on ahead. But can ya hold on for a minute?"

Sirina handed back his Pokégear, and Devon took the phone from her gently. Flashing the girl a smile as he tapped along the touch screen to search for the Map application. "Nah, you'll do great Sirina. It's easier then it looks. When we get where we're going, I can show you a few things too if you want."

The Trainer's fingers danced along the Pokégear's map screen, his right index finger settling on a key spot of Route 701 that had a red and white marker hovering over it. His face lit up as he felt the awkward tension ease up on him. "Hey guys check it out! There's a Pokémon Center further down this Route! If we keep going, we can probably make it there before the sun sets. How about we just stay there for the night and decide what we all wanna do in the morning?"

Pent
Shinon the Lucario, Aenir the Froslass, Jill the Skarmory
[Route 701]

@BytheSpleen@Light Lord@Draconequis
Looking to Liza, Pent flashed a smile. "Oh, right. Training! Oh to be young again...! Well, please be careful. You know, it's dangerous in tall grass, as I'm sure you know. As long as you're not too far away, Shinon should be able to find you if you get in trouble."

The proud Lucario nodded in agreement, tapping his fist to the side of his chest spike. <If you need any help, you merely need to ask for it.>

With Sirina's number entered into Pent's Holo Caster, Aenir pulled the device from the girl and moved it over towards Devon. <I do not believe you've shared numbers with each other?> Using Psychic, she gently lowered the Holo Caster into the teen's hands.

While maintaining a hold on the Holo Caster, Aenir shifted her focus to Nana. <I see... well, I suppose at this point Pent can still walk, even if it's... difficult.> Putting a wispy arm to her face she furrowed her brows. <What do you mean she has no sensation in her legs... you mean... she cannot feel them? At all?> Looking over to Pent, the Froslass let out a soft sigh, <Though I know that he would never consider it... Sirina's chair seems quite helpful, and allows her almost full mobility...> A chill ran down the Froslass' spine. Ironic? <Having her wheelchair... roll away like that... must have been horrifying. I can only imagine, if Pent did use one...> She shuddered.

Pent let out a half-hearted chuckle, his words aimed towards Aenir, "You know, it's not polite to speak about someone behind their back." Aenir froze, her face turning a bright pink.

Sirina's words regarding his pain caused a sad chuckle to escape Pent's lips. "...I suppose that's not inaccurate." Closing his eyes, the man shook his head when the brunette offered up her wheelchair. "I appreciate your offer, I really do, however... I'll be fine. If you both would prefer to go on without me, I'll be fine. I have Shinon, Aenir and Jill by my side."

Devon's thoughts on the matter caused Pent to hang his head. "...Only if you are certain. I'm sure you're both hungry..." Despite speaking, he continued trudging along, carefully placing his cane to offset his weight as much as possible, while still somehow avoiding rocks and other terrain differences.

Still smiling somewhat, he nodded when Devon went over the area map. "...I'm slow, but I... can only imagine we'd make it there by nightfall. All right well... I suppose that's a plan, then?" A soft, dejected sigh escaped Pent's lips as he looked Liza in the eyes. "Oh! And... As for a chiropractor... I'm afraid that would do me little good. I have a rod in my spine which is unmovable, as well as a few rods in each of my legs..." Trying his best to smile he regarded Liza, "I do appreciate your concern, though. Thank you. Please do be safe... I will take your number from one of these two here if you wish to make haste..."
