Well, those Realta statistics are... Overwhelming, but, it makes me feel better about what Lifprasil will create with Jvan, and possibly Vestec if he wants to cut a few corners and help his son out. @Rtron
Do you think it reasonable that a djinni lord (or our pal Ventus) summoned by Akthanos would be able to sense Heartworm's brief presence in Vetros and identify it as something Jvanic, or at recognize the blood markings as such?
Maybe not sense its presence, as such, because it's trying to hide from other gods, but pretty much any major elemental will be able to look at five mutilated fish people and say 'yeah that's jvan for sure'. So yes!
Hmm.... if Arcon is going to invade Galbar, will any inhabitants of Galbar be able to visit Arcon?
Jvan will be leaking, or potentially outright broadcasting, Arcon's location as soon as Logos starts breaking things. She kept his secret because she thought he had a good thing going, but evidently that's not the case and the poor lad needs some intervention.
An open question: who else intends to at least show up at the Memorial?
The structure itself? Heartworm's scared shitless and Jvan is Jvan, so though she will eventually sign, they won't be visiting for a while.
If you mean the funeral type thing, then yep, they'll have representatives.
Okay seriously before I make my next post I gotta get some things straight. So I DO the invasion post by myself, and then you guys can react to the carnage? Does anyone want to do a WordPad scene talking to Logos once he arrives? Who actually will let me some damage to nonessential areas and people?
I'm cool with the former idea. If Logos actually has any words to say with Jvan, we can collab after the initial strike.
Fiberlings- Kill as many as you damn well please, they're common as rocks.
Lens Groves- They can be easily targeted and destroyed, at the cost of a massive cultural setback to the emerging Urtelem society. Logos won't care though so go ahead.
Caliginous Mangrove- Probably won't burn because it's mainly a water biome, but is undefended, so the Realta can go in there and make David Attenborough very sad.
Mirus Submaterium- Secret. Nobody knows of its existence.
Lex- If a few of the Realta decide to go to the noctus forest they can start destroying that ecosystem. It's a huge swathe of space, but there's little to stop them.
Change-eaters- There are probably less than a hundred of them in Lex, and they aren't adapted to hunger for Realta, but they are designed to kill elementals. That makes them capable of putting up a fight, at least for a while. It's more likely that the arks will bail them out though.
Arks- Both of them can manoeuvre at interstellar speeds and are hundreds of metres long, so they can outrun Realta or dogfight them by ramming. Minor injuries are the worst Mother Suprema and Father Dominus can expect to get.
And the only unmentioned creation I can think of are, of course, Sculptors, which are a curious case.
They've been slated from the start to be an extreme rarity that neither uses nor fears magic, and has to be fought with conventional means (swords, arrows, guns, poison) thanks to their symbiosis with faeries. Along with dragons and djinni, Realta were always on the Fae character sheet as one of the magical creatures they're meant to form a barrier against, and considering faery physics mechanics, Sculptors are pretty much immune to their plasma blasts.
However, as of yet, they don't have any means to fight back, and I'm sure Realta are smart enough to fight simply by punching things with their metal shells, even if they have to target each faery individually and are robbed of their incredible rocket-powered mobility.
So we'll definitely be seeing Sculptors that survived the djinni crusade die. The collateral, however, will be awesome, and the Realta will waste a lot of time seeking out and destroying them individually, especially once their god starts commands her cultists to hide or flee.
One of Jvan's larger creations, the one that brought Tobias to Arcon, was very swiftly obliterated by their full number.
That's not saying much, considering that Jvanic Eyes are canonically hollow glass balls full of liquid, but yes. Scary scary motherfuckers.
@Dawnscroll, I agree with Termite that the simplest way to go about things is to have you post the start of the invasion, then we can react appropriately.
As for what you can damage, I'll note that the largest Rovaick settlement is currently home to young Conata, and as such is not to be treated as simple cannon fodder.

Yeah, I was planning on having Conata be at least nearing adulthood by the time she interacts with the wider world. If Realta come to attack her home, she'll be at that stage by then to make my life easier.
Speaking of which, I still need to put together a series of vignettes of her growing up.

If Realta do come to attack her home, Teknall would also be pretty determined to stop the Realta, ideally before they got there.
