@Muttonhawk Question; resistant against plasma or just fire? And what do you define as Abberant?
Well, their shell is essentially well-aligned porcelain, laid on real thick. As for plasma, it depends on what kind of plasma you're talking about. I assume you're talking about nitrogen/oxygen plasma coming out in a straight stream from a realta's arm or something, seeing as that's what Galbar's atmosphere is probably made from. If you, say, scaled up an oxy-acetyline torch as an analogue for temperature, that'd take at least a few minutes to do damage to a slab of porcelain. It's probably not going to do enough damage to a white giant to disable it before it closes the distance on land. That said, plasma jets retain their energy a lot better in space than in air.
Of course, I think it was implied on the realta character sheet that their plasma jets can work as a jetpack, so I don't know how much difference it makes. As well, more physics-minded people probably have a better idea on how the realta plasma affects clay than I do.
As for aberrant, that's just the word I used on the spot here. On the white giant character sheet, it says that any lifeform that wasn't created with Slough's or Toun's power involved is a target for them.
Rovaick? That's a clobberin'. (Those marked by Sularn's vow excepted).
Ashlings? That's a clobberin'.
Fibrelings? That's a clobberin'.
Elementals disguise themselves as forces of nature and mess with the giant's senses, so they aren't detected. Contrivances have been made for other life forms as well. Something as big, hot, and angry as a realta, however? Oh, you better believe that's a clobberin'.
