So, as you may all know, and if not, as I am now letting you all know, Stand Part 4 has taken a heck of a long time. Not pointing any fingers *looks at Kang and whispers Japanese curses* but it took a huge amount for the players to stick with it and produce that.
At times tempers were lost and irritation levels were through the roof. There were even points where some may have very well wanted to wash their hands of life and be done with it (yes, this collab created unimaginable crises in all our personal lives and even my hair has turned white. And I wasn't even involved. Other than that time I derailed that one po- anyway)

And so, for their commitment to completing the post and their impressive display of endurance, patience, and mental perseverance, I'd like to award Mutton and BBeast something small and largely symbolic, from the GM team and from the rest of us too. Cyclone is a cynic and wanted to give them applause, but I thought we'll give them something else on top of that.

And here, I present it all to you for approval before confirming it: for the above mentioned, Mutton and BBeast's deity characters will each be given a free portfolio. They will neither need to have spent 3 Might on it previously nor 3 Might to incorporate it. A gift from Fate if you will.

Is that fine by everybody? I just want to ensure that everyone is fine with it and there will not be any problems before going ahead with it - and I personally think that BBeast and Mutton truly deserve it.

Edit: it has also been suggested that rather than a portfolio, Teknall and Toun can each receive an artefact of some kind from Fate. Thoughts?

I appreciate the gesture, but I'll wait for everyone else's okay before I make a decision.

@Muttonhawk Rtron claims that he eventually gave up on putting up with some of the things happening. And, at the risk of offending Kang again (sorry Kang, truly truly, don't be annoyed T-T) we think giving him something would be self-defeating.

It's pretty rare to see tangled collabs like these ever be finished, rather, they usually collapse the whole thing. So yeah, it was quite an achievement of your guys to manage to go all the way trough with it so congrats and stuff, gifts deserved and all. Be it a portfolio, relic or a lovely house in the Alefprian suburbs, all is ok.

But let's try to keep it simple in the future, okay :) ?

Now talking about the gifts, I don't care. Everyone here has had to work hard to balance their RPing with real life and I don't see the point in rewarding someone for sticking with their hobbies. Being clear of that messy collab should be enough of a reward by itself.

If you feel it's necessary, then sure, why not. Just find an acceptable reason IC why they would receive such a gift and I'll be fine with it.

Of course. Everyone works hard in the sense that they put effort into writing good quality pieces. It becomes a different sort of effort when there is far more than that going on. If collabs such as that were just about you sitting down and putting effort into writing something, no collabs would ever fall apart. It takes a lot more from a player to stay dedicated to a collab at the best of times, so it is only natural that a collab whose conditions were far less than ideal should be rewarded in some way - as a symbol that we recognise the extra effort that went into it behind the scenes, and the patience, perseverance, and mental endurance it took.

And as I take particular pride in the Divinus community, and as I feel this group is far more tightknit than any RPing group I have been with in a very long time, I think that kind of recognition and support is not only possible to pull off (it takes a hell of a lot of trust for other players to understand and accept such seemingly arbitrary moves from a GM after all), but is warranted.

I also found out that I was a Fascist/Nazi today. Was planning the take over of southern Africa with a friend and expressed the clear need for and authoritarian governmental system and a slave class (Ideas Termite solidified in my head).

30 years from now, you will hear in the knews of the nation of Lokileoistan born from most of south Africa.
