So random question. Is there anyway to find out the colors everyone uses for speech? I need to know which one I can pick haha.

@Malchivo Scroll down to the formatting cheatsheet, there's a list of colour names linked in there. Colour hex codes work too.

@Antarctic Termite No I know that, but I don't know which colors have already been used and I want to avoid using one that has.

Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm. Good call.

Off the top of my head, I think we've been through...

Red
Green
Orange
Black
Peru
PaleGoldenrod
Gold
AntiqueWhite
CornflowerBlue
...Brown maybe?
Whatever particular shade of green Xos talks in
A really dark purple-brown I'm reserving for REASONS
Carmine (not a shade name, but it's J-girl's trademark)

Not counting hex codes. There's more, but there's also still a lot left on the list we haven't been through. What matters more is probably finding a colour you like. Just pop it here and we'll let you know if we've seen it before.

Others I've found-

Crimson
Goldenrod
DarkGoldenrod
DarkGray
Gray
SkyBlue

We have a whole family of goldenrod browns, wow.

Yep, that's good.

NOW THAT YOU'VE MENTIONED IT THOUGH

I think Farxus and Ventus share a colour, as do Aihtiraq and Lloyd.

Clearly these two couples are soulmates.

Adjustments will be made to the shipping grid.

If you'd like to peek at what colours are in a particular post, you can hit 'quote' on the bottom-right of any post and all the formatting tags will display in the quote block dumped in your post editor.

So if you hit quote on a post with:

"Wow!"

It'll be seen in your post editor as:
"Wow!"
Jvan has long been established as the fanfiction tumblrette of Divinus. She has a multi-dimensional geometrically indexed shipping matrix.

EDIT: Whoops! Double post. I thought I was editing :p

@Malchivo You could also hit 'View Raw' in the right corner of a post and you'll see the code. The rather helpful url link to that particular post is also in the top right corner.

Once I'm done with exams, I've got an idea for a system that will make finding posts you're looking for far easier - a bit of a linked index of posts if you will. It could potentially be combined with the grand summary.

@Slime A djinni of magic who detects people who are desperate/losing hope. He then finds them and grants them one wish - usually leading to tragic consequences.

Consequences such as what?

@Slime For instance, a pregnant woman wished for the child in her womb to be 'strong'. It was so strong that giving birth to him killed her. The story has not progressed far enough to see if there are any other consequences.

Another person was in search of his lost wife, and he wished to find her. On finding her, things didn't work out and both committed suicide (after starting a massive tribal war, of course). The story has not progressed far enough to see if there are any other consequences.

The third person has so far been quite lucky.

Aihtiraq does genuinely want the wishes to turn out well (unlike the wish-granting genies of Earth mythology), although if the wisher insists then Aihtiraq will grant their wish even if he knows it will lead to tragedy.

So basically "be careful with what you wish for" is his motto. I can imagine a scenario on which my characters rely on him, but that would be a for a very advanced point, if I even choose to go that way.
