"She wouldn't mix any magics that would in any way pose a threat to herself or others" Larek assured Nyx.
"It would take a lot of magic to affect it, but yes, it could be broken by a very powerful dispel spell" that last part seemed a bit odd for Veax. 'Dispel spell.'
They walked through Naugoa for a while. It's architecture was quite different from that of Minbenthac's, although all eight of the major dracon cities had their own style. Whereas Minbenthac had a lot of brown, red, and grayish buildings, Naugoa's tended to be colored gray and blue, with far more towers and greater overall height. The few towers that Minbenthac had were mostly limited to the richer neighborhoods, and it was rare to see anything over five stories, but here it was hard to avoid a ten, fifteen, or even twenty-story tower. An unusual blue stone was the predominant building material, along with some cheaper gray rock. It gave the city a very cool feel, despite being in the desert. This 'watery' feeling was reinforced by the fact that, unlike Minbenthac, Naugoa was a coastal city, and as soon as they got to the platform, they could see the vast ocean stretching on into infinity, with the still-shining sun reflecting off of the blue waters.
"Wow, look at all those ships..." Veax said, quite awed by the sight.
