[Aristocles]

Orna teleported them home with the stone, and they found themselves on the road, several kilometers away from the farm.

"What?! Oh, darn. It must be out of power. Looks like we have to walk back. We're not far, at least" Orna sighed.

Veax sighed. "Do you think we have a boring life, my love?"

Larek walked out to the back and did his stretches, then moved to the clearing out back and assumed a combat stance. "Ready when you are."

"Ah, well" tran said, "lets get started then. Where did you put the sheep?"

"No. I like our life, but if you thini its boring we could always add excitement" hermia said with a frown

Railing assumed a combat stance, easily falling into tje stance despite it being a while since he had fought. "Ready"

[Aristocles]

(I forgot to reply to Sasha earlier. Sorry!)

"Well, I learned this from my stepmother, so I guess that explains that" Kos replied, giving her a quick pat on the back. "I don't mean to lecture, but it really is good for you. It helps to heal your sore muscles and helps your recovery time after strenuous exercise. It's also good for circulation. Larek and the other two are more into this than I am, but Aerta taught me all the same."

"I left them in the pasture. If we start there now, we might get there before its dark" Orna replied.

"Any suggestions as to what we can do?" Kos asked.

Larek swung his fist at Railing, aiming for his chest.

Sasha nodded, "its all good information to know" she said

"Right" tran said, "they should be okay then. Lets start"

Hermia shrugged, "we coule go out"

Railing blocked the blow, and attacked back with a fist

[Aristocles]

"Just tell me when you feel like exercising again, love" Kos said.

Orna and Tran began the long walk back home. They were on a dirt path, and while it was reasonably clear, they had to deal with rocks and sand in the road.

"Good idea! Any suggestions as to where?" Veax asked.

Larek dodged Railing's attack and countered with a kick at his legs.

"I will" Sasha said, drinking some more water. Sometime later she stood

Tran watched the ground, watching where he stood

"Well, we could go dancing, so somewhere we can dance" hermia said

Railing allowed the kick to hit, catching himself before he could fall, flicking his tail, and attacking again

[Aristocles]

"Nice to see you up so soon" Kos said. "Feel like more exercises?"

Orna stepped on a stone. "Ow! Stupid rocks!" She let out an uncharacteristic growl, as she was unused to the pain.

"Hmm. Maybe there's a festival going on that we can attend" Veax suggested, knowing that these festivals often had public music and dance.

Larek was knocked back by Railing. He smiled. They were starting to get into the swing of things. Larek felt so alive. He punched again, hoping to connect with Railing's chest again.

"I guess" sasha said

tran looked back, turning around, "are you okay?" He asked

"Alright, sounds good" hermia said with a smile

railing blocked, and at the same time, kicked out, keeoing his balance nicely, watching and wary.

[Aristocles]

"How about some jumping jacks?" Kos suggested.

"No. I mean, I'll be fine, but my toes hurt." Orna lifted up her right foot to show a sore spot on its middle and right toes.

"I guess I'll look up when there will be a big festival" Veax said, getting a book out to find out this information.

Larek charged at Railing, attempting to tackle him.

Sasha nodded, "okay" she said

"I'll see what I can do when we get home, for now, walk where I walk" tran said. He found it easy to walk, searching for good places to step, and growing up in the city, on the stone walkways, developed a resistance to it. It also helped that he probably had tougher skin then Orna. "Or I can carry you"

Hermia smiled, "okay"

Railing caught Larek. The last five or so months, his strength had slowly come back. Still somewhat weakened, he nevertheless managed to keep Larek from bowling him over. He gsve a roar, and pushed back trying to throw Larek away from him.

[Aristocles]

"Let's just go out again" Kos said, opening the door for Sasha.

"It's not that bad, Tran" Orna told him, a bit hurt, but getting over it. "I could just use a good bath when we get home, or maybe we can dip our feet into some hot water." She followed where he stepped, but he was able to walk on stone that caused her some pain. She growled again. "This is what I get for being a carefree farm girl for most of my life. I gotta toughen up a bit..."

"Hmm. How about the celebration going on in Hewaniar?" Veax suggested. "It's not as big as Minbenthac, but I've heard good things about that city."

Larek staggered back, somewhat surprised by the force Railing was able to exert. Digging in his heels, Larek grappled with Railing, trying to wrestle him down.

Sasha nodded and headed out

tran sighed. Sometimes, he just said the wrong thing, and he never knew why."I dount a carefree farm girl would ride a dragon" he said

"Its sounds good" hermia said

Railing pushed back, trying to stay up, using his tail to keep balance

Kos started his jumping jacks.

"Toby is a family friend. He's not like other dragons!" she snapped. When she realized that she was yelling, she stopped for a moment. "Tran, I-I'm sorry. I'm just not used to this. First, the gate stone doesn't work and then I hurt my foot." Orna looked at her toes. "It's not even that bad, It's just me. I grew up too sheltered."

"That celebration is tomorrow" Veax said, happy that they were going somewhere.

Larek tried to knock Railing down, but they were too evenly matched. "Want to call it a draw?" Larek asked.

Sasha stretched s bit, before starting with the jumping jacks.

Tran sighed, not snapping back. He was easy going by nature, "I didn't mean to insinuate that he was like other dragons. I merely meant even riding him doesn't fit with the description you gsve yourself" he said calmly, "sometimes I forget that I am use to this, and you haven't experienced it so much. You are tough and soft. I like that, it works for you"

then he smiled, "thats the thing about loving someome. You take the yelling, the anger, the frustration, lumo it together and squash it with how much you csre for them. I will always be here, Orna, to help. To be the one you yell at, even knowing that seconds later you will apologise. Because I love you"

"Alright" hermia said, smiling, "is there anything else you need to do today?"

"I think that would be wise" Railing said

[Aristocles]

Kos was soon past his fiftieth jumping jack. "How are you holding up, love?"

Orna gave him a hug. "Sorry I snapped at you, dear. I love you too" She thought for a moment. "Can you really carry me all that way? We've got at least two kilometers to go."

"Not much" Veax replied.

"Yeah" Larek let go of Railing. "We're too evenly matched. I hope that wasn't too hard on you."

Sasha had stopped seconds before kos spoke. Her stamina just wasn't good enough. "Badly, it appears"

Tran returned the hug, "I can certainly try" he said

"Hm" hermia was unsure od what to do now

"I'm fine" Railing said, stepping back

"Hmm. That was still better than before" Kos replied, encouraging her.

"Well, give it a shot" Orna said, moving in close to him.

"We could watch the sun set later" Veax suggested.

"Me too. Come one, lets go to Nyx and Prudence. I wonder what they thought of all this sparring."

"If you say so" sasha said with a sigh

Tran nodded, and picked her up

"That would be great" hermia said

Railing nodded, "sure." He said

"Look, it won't get totally better overnight, and unless we are consistent, you won't improve by a whole lot" Kos told her.

Orna smiled "Thanks. I really don't deserve this, but I really appreciate it."

"Yeah. Until then, maybe we could practice our dancing?" Veax asked.

Larek went over to Nyx. "We fought to a draw. He's a tough one."

"I know, I know" Sasha said with a sigh

"Of course you deserve it" tran said, starting to walk

"Sure" hermia said
