(If it was different, you'd need to be a vet specializing in lizards. lol)

Kos looked closely at his wife, trying not to get too distracted. Not everything was about breeding, after all.

"Hmm. Looking good as always, love. You look pretty healthy. I guess I should take an interest in this. I mean, it was my seed which got you gravid in the first place. I don't want to think that any side effects of pregnancy, like... swollen feet? Yeah, that might be my fault, in a sense." He looked at her stomach, and looked at her claws. "Very clean claws, nice and sharp. I'm sorry if I'm a bit nosy as to your health. It is something I've been thinking about since I heard you were gravid. It's nothing I've ever had to think about before. Mostly I thought about mating as being a one-night thing, something to forget about the next day. Now, there are long-term effects, and you have to bear them all. Hmm. I doubt most males think this much about it."

"Oh my love, you have no idea, we are in for a raging storm," Ryland said with a chuckle.

(Well, it's sort of expected at this time given that all of the girls are gravid. If you wanted, we could skip to when everyone's further along and the guys have an adventure.)

(No, its fine. Whatever you two want. That said, an adventure sometimes in the future would be a good idea. In the meantime, I'll do my best to play a convincing female. Please tell me if I get stereotypical. xD)

"Yeah, it's going to be interesting. I remember being interested in becoming a mother myself when I saw my mother and her friend caring for two of their children. One of my younger brothers and his friend were lying on tables, getting their daily massage. The two mothers were talking to each other at the same time their hands were busy caring for their young children, and those boys were clearly feeling very good. I asked my mother about it and she told me that behind every strong male, there was a strong female, and that the strongest males had their bodies molded by their mothers when they were hatchlings, helping them to grow tall and strong. I'd love that. To bear a child who is so strong, so tough, so... so tall." She looked at Ryland again.

"Of course, every female needs to get seed for a child. Ryland, I love you for a million reasons, but it helps that you are strong. And tall." She patted him on the back, smiling.

Sasha smiled at Kos, enjoying his interest, and shrugging "it takes two to make an egg, so it isn't your fault. It's just what comes with having hatchlings" she said, looking at her own claws, satisfied with them. She generally tended to her claws, having walked every day on the city streets, it was easy to damage a claw and best to tend to them daily.

"We both have a lot to learn, and we will. Lucky we have time" she said

[Aristocles]

"Yeah. I just... for once, I don't want to be like my father. Or what he was, at least. You know that Adykon used to make females gravid and leave them. He- he did that to my mother, even though he came back for me. Now, I think I understand what kind of a burden this can be to a female" Kos said. "That said, my mother was able to bear a ton of eggs without a male around the house. She wouldn't bring them home after mating, but she was able to bear the eggs, regardless. And my mother wasn't exactly the healthiest female. You'll be fine. I don't think you are fragile, either."

"Never had massages, even as a hatchling, never wanted them until I met you," Ryland said. "And I'm tall because of my dad being tall and magic, there's no real guarantee that our sons will be my height.

[Aristocles]

"Oh. Well, I'd still enjoy having a family with you. I'm sure we'll have strong kids, no matter what" Aura explained. "But I think you get that many females like tall males. It's hard to explain. I guess I can hope that some of that magic will still be active in your side of the family when we start laying eggs. So, how long will it be before we get to the market?"

Sasha nodded, "Females have been bearing and raising hatchlings for generations" She pointed out, "I'm not fragile, so I'm glad you don't think so" She added, with a smile, sitting up as her mother finished, asking them if they wanted anything as se got up

[Aristocles]

Kos sat down next to his wife. "I just want you to be happy. And healthy. I'm just hoping that things go smoothly from here on in. So, can we get you anything?" He asked Marx and Jammy.

(Actually mind if we just skip to when they get back?)

(Sure. We can skip.)

A few hours later, Aura and Ryland were just about back from their trip to the market, with the wagon still being pulled by Steele.

"So, once we put these things away, want to spar, Ryland?"

"I don't really fight unless I have to. I mean, I know how to fight and I'm a good fighter but I only fight to win and I don't want to risk hurting you," Ryland said.

They both shook their heads, and Sasha relaxed back, and got comfortable. She smiled, more then happy right now. "I am happy" She said, ""And I'm pretty sure I'm healthy" She said with a laugh

((Where did we leave Nyx/Larek, and the others?)

"Oh, don't be such a hatchling!" Aura teased. "I won't get hurt. My father taught me how to take care of myself, and I'm sure you won't hit that hard. Some practice might be good."

(I think they were at home, but if not, we can just move them back there.)

"Good to hear. So, do you two like the farm?" Kos asked Marx and Jammy.

"Arua, no," Ryland said firmly. "I don't spar."

[Aristocles]

"Alright, I won't press it. Still, maybe we can exercise together at least. I guess this is what happens when my father is a warrior. I was always around that sort of thing. No sparring, then." Aura replied.

Marx nodded, "it seems like you've been doing a good job here. A good place to raise a family too" Jammy nodded in agreement, "And it seems like you have good plans too"

[Aristocles]

"I think we do, thanks" Kos replied. "So, how have your jobs been? Students doing well? Patients getting better? Any new plans of your own?" he asked Marx and Jammy.

"The students are al good, and eager to learn, so I must be doing something right" Marx said with a chuckle.

"My patients come and go as they need me, but there's been nothing series lately" Jammy said, "As for plans, we don't really have any"

"Alright, we can exercise later," Ryland said.
