So gonna watch the Flash/Supergirl crossover episode today.

If the Supergirly parts are good, I may take people at their word in needing to give Supergirl a second chance

This will no doubt sound like more excuses/justification on Supergirl's behalf, but I really thought that other than the crossover, this was one of the more mediocre episodes. It also doesn't help that two of the leads, Hank Henshaw and Alex Danvers (the former of which is one of the best characters), weren't present because they're away on a mission for a few episodes. So basically, this is my roundabout way of saying that you may find "World's Finest" more palatable than the pilot, but it's still not Supergirl's best. (For that, I'd recommend "Human for a Day" or "Falling.")

So I've caught up on Arrow, watched the Flash/Supergirl crossover all in preparation for BvS tonight...I'm a little worried I'll come out wishing I'd just watched a couple of Daredevil eps instead... I will get a Doom post up either tonight or tomorrow depending on how I feel after the movie.

(In other news I came up with a much better arc title for Dr Doom so might change it on the last post and keep it for the next couple).

I'm still so behind on both Arrow and Flash. My attention span is barely larger than a gnat. I'm still on season 2 of Arrow (With smattering of episodes on season 3 & 4). Smatterings of S1 & 2 of Flash and none of Supergirl. ._.

But I'm going to see BvS tomorrow. I'm psyched!

Just got back from seeing BvS;

BvS Spoilers

Honestly I didn't really enjoy the film much, that is until the final act with the fight and Doomsday etc. Thought the action was good, and it was great to see Wonder Woman in action. Personally can't say i liked the music they played when she first appeared as Wonder Woman, although i guess i just get picky about things like that, especially since someone kinda stated the same thing beforehand.

Again, other than that bit, the majority of the film seemed really slow and boring in my opinion. As well as the fact that things seemed to have just been placed there for the hell of it/to set things up for the next film. Sure that's important to do, but they just seemed off to me. I mean I did like the Metahuman files, but it seemed out of place to watch them when we did if that makes sense? I think it would have been better if either Bruce had watched them when he first found them, or if they had been played right at the end or something? IDK.

The Knightmare sequence was odd, although truth be told, that scene had been spoiled for me before i went in. I liked the idea of them showing that alternative future/whatever it is that was happening there, as it foreshadowed Darkseid and stuff, but again the placement of it was super bad. Also if i hadn't known about it beforehand, i wouldn't have had any idea as to what was going on. Especially with Flash's appearance.

As for other bits i liked, the beginning with Bruce during the Supes/Zod fights was really cool. Although highly unrealistic since he didn't end up adopting that orphaned girl. Also liked the scene at Lex's party; with Clark VS Bruce, and the whole introduction of Diana.

Batfleck was also good. Really good!

All in all, the film seemed a bit meh in my opinion. I feel like they just tried to cram too much into one film, resulting in it being a huge mess? That being said, can understand why some people may love it. The film's magic just didn't work for me i guess?

Not exactly far for people who can fly, but lol. But no I don’t need Thor collaboration, I just figure Latveria’s political motivations might make a thought about it at some point. Wondy's going to go talk to Supes in my next post.

I find it fun but the whole crossover scenario feels a bit redundant to me. Partially with the villains chosen and how it was resolved.
