Well the idea is to have him be Hulk instead of Banner.

It's a way to play with a Hulk type character (Which I like) and think it's a new and interesting twist.

Yeah, I'm going to have to nix that. If someone that came along and wanted to play Banner they'd have their hands tied by a change that you've made and as I've said - we're trying to avoid that scenario coming up as much as possible.

If someone comes along and plays Banner Hulk and wants a Red Hulk around, you'll be able to work something out with them IC, but it's too close to an Ultimisation for my liking.

Okay it was just an idea :P.

I do have some ideas around the tweaking of mainstream heroes (By tweaking I mean on the level that other people have done) but I'll keep you posted.

@Morden Man I believe this is more toned down. His criminal contacts are mostly black market weapons dealers that he uses to get past his government contract. Also changed it to where Kelly approaches Lex to support his bill, Lex had nothing to do with it coming into existence.

Early Life

• July 11, 1979: Lex Luthor is born.
• April 18 1983: Lex's father, Lionel, loses his position on the Metropolis City council after his business with the local crime families are brought to light by the young reporter Perry White. This causes the man to fall into deep alcoholism.
• October 4, 1984: Lex's sister, Lena, is born.
• August 18, 1992: Lex's mother is beaten to death by his father during one of his drunken bouts of rage and is sentenced to twenty years of prison. Lex and his sister are left to fend for themselves.
• November 1, 1992: Lex refuses to be taken into state care and instead opts to raise his sister himself. This causes quite a stir in the local news but the attention quickly dies down.
• August 13, 1995: Lex tests his way out of high school and gains a full scholarship to Harvard. He begins university and quickly rises to the top of his class.
• May 22, 1999: After only four years he graduates with 15 doctorates across both science and math fields of study. He is offered a job by the United States government to research advanced weapon and medical technologies.
• February 4, 2000: Lex's sister Lena is diagnosed with stage 3 breast cancer. He commits all of his government allocated resources towards finding a cure.
• August 2, 2001: Lena dies of cancer. Lex sees this as a personal failure and quits his job. He disappears for two years.

Building a Legacy

• March 8, 2003: Lex returns to the public and announces the creation of LexCorp in Metropolis. He is accompanied by dozens of scientists from SHIELD, ARGUS, STAR LABS and many other organizations.
• October 15, 2003: After only a few months LexCorp becomes one of the nation's top weapons manufacturers competing with the likes of Stark Industries.
• November 30, 2005: LexCorp accepts a contract with the United States government that allows the company to only provide weapons to the nation.
• January 1, 2006: LexCorp expands its business to include medical and computing branches. Later that year they create the world's first smartphone, the LexPhone.
• April 27, 2007: Luthor sends his private security force to eliminate Taliban terrorists in Afghanistan that had "stolen" LexCorp weapons. The company is praised by praised throughout the nation.
• June 15, 2008: Lex secretly begins funding criminal activities to further his wealth. He begins to personally meet with underworld contacts and even got into the occasional gunfight.
• May 28, 2009: Lex's past returns to haunt him as dozens of newspapers bring up his father's prison sentence to attack his character. He replies with the message, "If every man where crucified for the sins of his father, no man would be alive today."
• December 25, 2010: LexCorp releases the LexPhone 3L to to consumers everywhere. Also, the LexFoundation is formed as a charity for orphans around the world.

Birth of the Superhero

• December 31, 2011: Lex begins to hear rumors of a vigilante in Gotham. He begins to give further funding to his interests in the local underworld through Oswald Cobblepot. (If that's okay with Wraith)
• April 13, 2012: Lex is approached by Senator Robert Kelly and is asked to show support of the Mutant Registration Act.
• May 24, 2012: Lex throws a party for his friend Robert Kelly after the bill is successfully passed.
• July 28, 2012: LexCorp security uncovers a plot by a mutant terrorist organization to assassinate Senator Kelly. An attack he has every intention of stopping.
• January 23, 2013: Superman beats Lex to the punch on stopping the attack on President Kelly. For the first time in years he begins to feel overshadowed by another person.

Creating the Justice League-Present

• April 11, 2013:Hoping to manipulate Superman into working for his agenda and hoping to capitalize on the media buzz around the assassination attempt, Lex announces the creation of the Justice League of America. He offers Superman a place on the team but is publicly refused. Despite this other such as Ant Man and Batman join the team. (Wraith's sheet say formerly/temporarily under affiliation. Will change if need be.)
• April 12, 2013:Enraged Lex begins searching the world for his own superheroes. He begins the "JLA Initiative"
• May 16, 2013: A research team led by Lex himself uncovers the body of Captain Steve Rogers frozen in ice. He is thawed out and offered a job in the JLA. Captain America Agrees and is globally announced as leading the team.
• July 13, 2013: LexCorp scientists discover Mjölnir. After a time they eventually bring Thor into the JLA.
• March 2, 2014: Lex begins using the Justice League to dispose of his old criminal "clients." Soon only a few of his more important contacts remain.
• March 23, 2014: Batman begins to distrust Luthor though still joins the League as a reserve member. The two begin a small rivalry but are willing to work together when the need arises.
• April 2, 2014: Lex denounces Superman in front of the entire nation calling him, "A powerful alien with dreams of tyrannically policing the world." The rivalry between the two intensifies.
• June 3, 2015: The Parasite attacks LexCorp HQ claiming that Lex is himself responsible for his condition. The Justice League saves the day and Lex announces that because of this personal attack he will be taking a more hands on approach with the League. He builds his own suit of armor akin to that of Iron Man and joins the League's active roster.
• February 2016: Whatever happens IC

Supporting Cast:

Allies

• President Robert Kelly: This is really a one sided relationship. Lex pretends to be the president's friend but he is really only using the man. He sees him as useful and often decides to assist him when it comes to mutant related problems.
• Mercy Graves: Lex's secretary and unofficial lover. She was once a scientist working for his company but he decided he wanted her working closer to him due to her... talents.
• Captain America: The public face and leader of the Justice League of America. While Lex respects the man, he still sees him as someone to manipulate. He does consider Steve a friend but he would betray him in a heartbeat if it would further his agenda. (If Blue Demon wins you can change this I suppose)

Rivals

• Tony Stark: Lex sees Tony as someone who thinks he is as intelligent as he is. While Lex respects the man he does not consider him an equal, a fact he has no intention of hiding.
• Batman: While Lex doesn't hate Batman, he still finds him to be annoying after he left the Justice League. Batman is an extremely capable person and Lex is scared that he could expose him. Though he would never admit it. (Wraith can change)

Enemies

• Superman: Superman is the one person that Lex is legitimately jealous of. He hates him with a passion. Not only because he refused his offer to join the Justice League, but also because he naturally has power that took Lex a lifetime to build. He doesn't really care that Superman is potentially dangerous, just that he is potentially MORE dangerous than Lex.

How (if at all) does the New Frontier version of your character differ from the original?:
This version of Lex is born in Metropolis itself instead of his normal early origin of Kansas. Other than that he is still pretty much the same guy. Well except for the fact that he created the Justice League.
