I really don't see how you can compare the two. The JL one is a far better theme, I think having lyrics in the Avengers one really turns me off.

Oh yeah. It's the themes we're comparing. Justice League for the win. I specifically used to put it on when I was having a good day or wanted to have something excite me. To me, it's right up there with the Star Wars score. I am so glad they never put lyrics to Star Wars. It would've dated it instantly, but the DCAU .music is timeless, probably because of the lack of lyrics.

I prefer the A:EMH theme. I never watched the Justice League cartoon as a child and though it's certainly more iconic, my having not watched the show makes its iconicism lost on me. In a vacuum it sounds like generic "epic" music that I wouldn't necessarily associate with the Justice League unless I knew it was the Justice League theme.

Whereas the Avengers theme succeeds in being an Avengers song without sounding forced - they haven't written twenty-four lines of awkwardly put together lyrics explaining the powers of each superhero, it's just a simple hook over and over again that would have got me fucking hype as a kid. It suits the more light-hearted, breezy tone of the show too.

Basically, Janperson is Japanese Robocop. The first episode has him fighting Terminators that work for the robot mafia, which is one of the three villainous factions in the show- The Super Science Network, The Robot Mafia Guild, and The Tatewaki Corporation. He fights them through a combination of being nearly invulnerable and armed to the teeth. It's good, silly fun, and I like cheesy kid's shows.

Also, the episode with the Scarecrow is cemented in my memory because it birthed the line "I am vengeance. I am the night. I am Batman." As a strange boy, I also put that on to motivate and inflate my spirits.
