Usually the attack would have mostly been focused on the target itself. However, X-7:s charged attack is one of the most powerful single attacks out of the whole roster of Framewerks, the short range in which it was done and that you reacted to the enemy's movement (dropping to street level) by shooting it there.

Carebear, I plan on continuing to the sniper. I would recommend that paladin stay on the cwm, and you try to figure out what to do with Elora and the big bad spacemen. If I don't die in the process of dealing with the sniper, I'll need repairs before I can even seriously look at the new comers.

@AtomicNut you can also deal AOE damage or use exploding barrels to deal damage. So, throw a car in the vicinity and shoot it with explosive rounds or missiles or something. Just don't aim at the mist.

Also remember rageboy that MIST is high in the sky so tossing shit wont work. Unless you've got a catapult. Everything better when launched form a catapult. So to toss stuff at it they'd need to get pretty dam close.

you cannot directly target the mist without setting it off. You might be out of range, but the billions of people you are trying to protect. But then again, you are from doom squad...

And really, we are in better shape then Troas. Nearly everybody is still in fighting condition on our team.

I mean, you could ignore them and help paladin witch hunt the last cruxi. Put more effort into fixing Mai? Perhaps Paladin could go after the big bad guys?

@Mr Rage I would say yes with rather big NO attached. We have Leaving three werks in some sort of fighting shape (I'm not count Mai given her werk is pretty much had it) with Caretaker in the best condition (Katya is one lucky pilot.). Really Caretaker IMO is only one free to deal with the new units. Remember Paladin is not well suited for close combat, (neither is Caretaker but Marker Light will fare better at close range then Pompey). Pretty much the idea is Caretaker deals with new Cruxi, hopefully can cause enough ruckus to draw all the attention and hold out. Ariin can finish that dam CWM squad hopefully nice and quick. Then help Katya. I think that had better chance of working. Mai can protect herself to a degree or paladin could move to shield her. If the CMWs prove to be tough customers.

Also boss man (@Ariamis) question. What set up dose the PDF base have? I know its now puddle central now so nothing is maned. We know it's got the ultra tough command building. (A lot of good that did them) However dose it have anything else noteworthy?

Even if the Mist were crazy high in the air, our werks have the ability to leave atmosphere unassisted, as such the idea that we cannot get close enough to throw an object at it is kinda crazy to me. I'm not saying we are capable of gundam style air battles, but someone launching off the ground should have the ability to toss a car on the way up, especially if they aren't really intending to leave atmo.

But this is all a moot point because the Mist is not that high off the ground.

But I digress. Yeah, I think our original thought process was best.

Still working on closing the distance on that there sniper. It is going to take me forever to get to it, kill it, and come back to someplace useful, so do me a favor and kill them all for me before I get back. I believe in you!

Actually, I believe that we are not really meant to win against this guy and that his appearance is for story driven purposes entirely. That being said, let's try to kill the bastards anyways!
