Alright, healer guy will see if there are bad spirits about. I personally think a certain clan with the name Storm in it could be responsible though.


Wha-what! You think that clan Stormcaller, a clan that we made angry, that can call storms, would get angry at us and call storms? Hmmmm, this requires more careful thought, wouldn't want to jump to conclusions.

@Shorticus If Maire were to use her action for this turn to try and come up with a way to improve the potions the clan uses to heal injuries how would that be reflected in the game itself? I figure, between Clan Stormcaller not being too happy with us and creepy monsters in the Barrows, some kind of healing item might be a wise investment.

@Lexicon Tough one for me to answer quickly. I didn't think about that.

my immediate thought is that alchemists work with herbs, salves, poisons, etc. a lot more than potions because potions are more powerful but more costly as well. At least, that's the assumption I'd like to roll with. If you want to MAKE healing potions, you can do that at the cost of some goods. That'd be fair.

Assume that presently most of your healing is done with herbs, medicinal salves, magical healing from Domagoj, anti-toxins, that sort of thing. Healing potions would be good for traveling warriors to have, though.

What sort of quantity would you want to make? I'll give you a price based on that.

I'm assuming that our clan has a basic healing salve that, if given a few days to work, can close small wounds. If Maire wants to research a more effective salve what would that cost and how would that be reflected? As far as the potions go...hmmm, why not a dozen to start? What would that cost?

Healing salves work like you've described, yes. Research... I'd like to say that you can do some research to find out what you need to develop a better one. You may already have the materials. It won't cost anything to do research except time, and you may not succeed this turn. The dice have a say in this. Eventually, you WILL succeed (it'll be easier each time you dedicate a turn to research).

And the more I think on potions, the more I think I want to make sure that Healer (the trait) is valuable. If we can just make healing potions, why would we ever want a healer? Plus, there's a blessing to heal people.

So, instead, I'll say this: you can make potions that have NON-HEALING effects. (Example: strength, agility, maybe flight one day.) Instant healing is reserved for Healers and the goddess of mercy.

[@Everyone Else] So, the plan is to update on Sunday, but if we still have plenty of people who haven't posted, I can and am willing to delay pushing the turn forward. I'd rather the majority of players get a chance to RP.

Tracyarmav says their ability to post here is limited ATM, so I went ahead and rolled for Domagoj. I will post Domagoj's findings in the IC, brief as the post will be since it's just about Domagoj.

Also, @Wernher's adventures are coming along nicely. Thus far, Eliz has been successful in looting and plundering without getting caught, AND has reached Stormpeak.
