Nicodemus kept his eyes forward, focusing on the things in front of him. "You'll have to sit tight then, Nikki, because this is where most of the fun happens," he said, slightly serious, but still relaxed enough to come off as joking. "It's not enough to simply trap them in here. That would be too easy, not to mention wasteful."

He stopped at a turning point in the hallway. Hugging the wall, Nic gave a quick peek to the turn. Clear so far, though he didn't like how many intersections where ahead, not to mention the amount of open doors.

"Before we lock the walkers in, there's a large cache of guns, ammo, and food on the first floor. Dropped from when the outbreak first started. I saw in on my first run of the place. We can take those and then lock them up afterwards, the problem is, the first floor is the most heavily infested, and some of the zombies were riot police -- meaning, they have helmets and body armor."

Nic could imagine it. Hundreds of desperate convicts pushing against riot police trying to contain them, and slowly but surely the infection spread amidst the chaos. In the end, there was probably not a single person who made it out alive. Consequently, any supplies they might have taken with them were dropped and fresh for the taking.

"If you're going to watch my back, promise me one thing: no guns. The less noise, the better," he said, turning to Nikki with a raised brow. "You think you can work with that?"

Nikki could see why Nic came here, there had to be a huge stash of weaponry, but she couldn't understand why he would risk going alone. There were probably two thousand men in the prison at the time of the infestation. She stayed close enough to Nic that none of the dead could get between them but gave him enough room so she didn't cut his head off. "Just what I wanted to hear."

She and Nic had been aquaintances before all of the shit hit the fan. So Nikki knew he was smart and a little crazy but sometimes he was just flat out nuts. Usually that was ok but times like this she worried about him having a god complex that might get him killed.

Nikki looks at him amazed. "Seriously? I can't believe you even said that to me." She says raising her sword to lop off another head.

The boy shook his head. "No! No! Not at all! Just hurt." He said, backing up a bit.

"Good, alright just checking. What happened to your leg by the way, saw you limping back there" she questioned turning around to see whether or not Kyre had caught up yet. "Oh Im Jess, and the boy you can see in the distance making his way over here is Kyre. whats your name kid"

The boy let out a sigh of slight relief. "I got beaten by scavengers..." The boy admitted after hesitating a bit. This wasn't the best way to be presented. He wished he would be able to look a lot more tough, but right now he looked pretty weak. He listened as she told her their names. "I'm Kyle...nice to meet you." He said, finally catching his breath.

"Same to you Kyle. Look, the top guy around here, Moses he just left to go get some fuel and stuff. Feel free to stay here for a while but when he gets back its upto him whether you can stay." She began to turn away. "Come on, ill let you stay in my workshop for awhile then when Moses gets back, then ill show you around the school"

Kyle nodded, staying quiet as he tried not to think about his injuries too much. He looked at the blood stained on his white shirt, hoping it wouldn't alarm anyone. "Okay." He said softly, looking around. He felt a little sad he would have to wait for approval to stay, but he was glad he could stay in the workshop. He secretly hoped he could play around and build something in the workshop.

Alexander nodded at Moses before going off on his own. It was quite easy to get into the street where the pharmacy was located. He rested for a while by observing the current state of the place itself. He expected more undead to be there but there seems to only be a few here and there. It would be easy to avoid them and make little to no sound at all. He didn't want to waste his energy with smacking zombies.

With his mind made up, he began to weave through the zombies, careful not to touch or aggravate them in any way that would make them attack him and crowd all over him. It would be hard to get out of there without getting bit. He managed to get into the pharmacy safe and sound. Only two zombies were inside the pharmacy itself and he smashed their skulls so that he could freely navigate through the pharmacy without the fear of running into them.

The whole pharmacy wasn't in good condition. It was already ransacked by another group but they did leave some things in there. He took whatever medicine he thought that they needed. He even took those face masks Nick told him to get. His backpack was nowhere near full so maybe he should make a stop by the shop at the gasoline station to get some extra food. Hopefully there were still something in there. He then exited the pharmacy and then immediately went to the gasoline station.

He filled the gas cans and while it was being filled up, he was keeping guard for any zombies that would get near. When it was filled up, he placed it near the entrance of the store before entering it. Dang, this place seemed like a hurricane went through it and then a tornado took everything within it, even the shelves were thrown out of their places. Feels weird to see that. He looked all over the place but the only thing he found was a bar of chocolate. He smiled, good enough for him.

He placed his bat inside his backpack and the head would be seen peeking through. He then carried both gas cans. He chuckled to himself. "Gods, it's actually heavier than I thought." He muttered before hurrying back to the school with gas cans in hand. He constantly had to smack zombies in the head using the gas cans themselves and it was very taxing to his muscles. If it wasn't for his constant training, he probably would collapse on the street. But that wasn't the case yet.

He practically threw the gas cans on the ground, but he really didn't as he just haphazardly dropped it beside him once he got into the garage. He took a breath before lying on the ground. Wait, something was wrong... where was Jess and Kyre? I mean Jess did want the gas cans right? Ah, he couldn't care anymore. He left a note about the gas cans before heading back to his room to rest.

Nic grinned. "Better safe than sorry yeah?"

Afterwards, Nicodemus kept silent, disposing of most of the zombies he came across. Finally, they approached a set of stair that led to the second floor. He looked at it for a second, his mind considering the options. Licking his lips, he turned to Nikki.

"Okay, the control room for the prison sirens should be over there. Third room to the right. I'll be down at the first floor, getting ready to welcome our guests. As soon as you hear the gunshot, pull the siren and get out of the building." Nic was grinning widely. He looked like a child having the time of his life. "Don't worry, I won't be long. I'll join you as soon as I heard them in."

Moses whistled lightly as he loaded the supplies Nikki had mentioned into the back of a red pickup truck. He had found the keys of said vehicle clenched tightly in the grip of the dead man in the drivers seat. Nikki wasn't kidding about the fair amount of supplies she had managed to find here. The amount of food found in the stuff she had boxed up would be enough to keep them fed for at least another week, not to mention the bit of ammo and meds that came with it. It didn't mean they were well off or anything, bu at the very least they now had their heads above the current instead of just treading water.

He finished loading the last of the boxes and smiled to himself. With these supplies they were a step closer to getting the hell out of Blackwell. He was sure Alex had probably already come through with the meds and gas he went to retrieve, he was reliable like that after all. Still even with all the stuff he was taking back he knew they could and would always need more and Nikki probably didn't search the entire neighborhood. Was he really going to risk his life and be greedy? "Nothing ventured, nothing gained." He muttered to himself hefting his axe onto his shoulder and walked behind the house taking a path to the next block.

"Ok, you'd better hope this works." Nikki turned to play whack a mole with a few walkers and took off up the stairs. She turned to see Nic take out a few in his stride towards his walk to open the doors. Nikki looked around and most of the prisoners inside the building were locked in their cells.

When she got to the third room on the right she was not alone. There was at least five of them in there. There was a beeping and flashing light in the room that had drawn them in. "Fuck" she said seeing at least two of them in riot gear. She took her sword and lopped off the heads of the first two easily. That left her a little more room to swing her sword and they began to swarm her and her adrenaline kicked in. She reached over and pulled the arm of one of them and yanked him past her and kicked him out the door and he fell over the railing. Coming back with a roundhouse kick she bashed one of them in the head and knocked him down into the file cabinets which gave her an extra few seconds to figure out how to take down the riot police.

That was when she heard the gunshot.

Nikki Dropped her sword and flipped the riot cop over her shoulder and onto his stomach. Then she yanked a knife out from her jacket and stabbed him in the back of the neck until he stopped moving. By this time the other riot cop was back on his feet and she reached over and hit the siren and came around with her sword right through his face. She saw more coming into the room and she looked out the window and tried to open it but it was stuck. "Of course it is!" she yelled in frustration.

She ran back halfway across the room and holding her sword out in front of her she ran and ducked as she busted through the glass. She was covered pretty well by her long trenchcoat but when her sword hit the glass and it shattered, a large piece of glass lodged itself in her side. Her landing was a perfect roll ten feet to the ground. She screamed when she landed from the glass jabbing into her. Sitting up she yanked it out and grabbed her sword that she had dropped while rolling.

Looking around for Nic she saw most of the walkers heading into the door he had opened. She pulled herself out of the way and got to a momentarily safe spot. She pulled the bag she had used before out of her jacket pocket and the duct tape too and yanked off a strip of tape and she covered the wound and taped it shut til she could get back and find out how bad it was. Her adrenaline was still pumping and she started to look for Nic.

"Hrnnnn...where the hell am I going to get supplies from?" A girl sat on a rock as she stared down at the forest before quickly jumping down from that rock and running through the green forest. There were many walkers around the forest, thankfully they couldn't see her because of how quickly the girl was running. Eliza noticed a walker just ahead from her as she quickly drew out her dagger and stabbed the walker right on the head, one more walker coming from behind the girl quickly turned around to do a high kick on the walker's jaw, making it fall backwards as she grabbed the dagger from the dead's walker head before stabbing it on the walker that was thrown away from her before quickly cleaning the blood that was on the dagger as she made her way out of the forest.

Getting closer to the exit, she'd notice a pharmacy up ahead and walked over to it but it seemed that someone already raided the place. Now that was her luck, all she wanted was to get some supplies for her road. Though, Eliza continued her walk but this time she made her way back to the old high-school. Hopefully to find at-least some survivors if any, or maybe supplies!

And once more, Alex found himself outside and staring down at the gate. For some odd reason or another, he wanted to play with the zombies again. It was odd because his arms were still hurting from carrying two full gas cans for who knows how long and then using it as a weapon to bash zombies' skulls. A bat rested in his hand and the other end was on his shoulder. He surveyed those outside and he could easily see that there were far less zombies than before because of their little massacre earlier.

Then he saw a figure, running around and heading for the school grounds. Hm... it didn't seem like one of them because of the figure's movements. He inched towards the gate to get a closer look. Ah, it was still human and female at that. But he didn't recognize her. She wasn't part of their group. A lone survivor it seems. Seeing as the zombies were noticeably less, he waved. Just waved because and form of loud sound would attract a horde of them and that was by no means good.

As Eliza got slightly closer to the gates, she'd notice a guy, close to her age waving at her. Her eyes squinted towards the stranger before making herself closer to him but that didn't mean that Eliza didn't have her guard up. What if this guy was some crazy guy who kills humans instead of zombies? They were all out there. "Who are you and are there more survivors here...?.." she'd ask while her left hand was behind her, hiding the gun that she had just to protect herself from any danger this stranger posses. Then suddenly, the guy reminded her of someone she knew back then in the school. "Wait.. I think I know you... I'm not sure but I have seen you around back in the high-school days..." Eliza rose an eyebrow before slowly letting go of her gun, feeling somewhat safe but not yet could trust the guy. She'd run her fingers through her hair slowly while placing a hand over her hips,staring at Alex before asking in a curiously tone; "Are there more here? Survivors..?"

"Yeah, there's a lot of us in here. The others are scavenging though." Alex replied before noticing that she was hiding her hand behind her back. This made the baseball player grip his bat tighter. When she mentioned seeing him back when the world was still normal, his hand loosened and began looking her over. Yeah, she does seem familiar. He then shrugged. "Yeah, maybe. Not sure." He said, running through his memories but coming out blank. They may have passed each other here and there but no talks. "Come on in." He offered before slowly opening the gate, only a crack though, enough for her to get inside. He wouldn't want zombies getting in because he was too slow to close it.

Kyre took one look at the guy and didn't trust him. Bloodied and injured by scavengers? He was sure there was more to it than that, but since Jessica seemed to be okay with him for now, he decided to give the guy a benefit of a doubt. He noticed he had some sort of tool belt, whether it was his or not was yet to be known. He doesn't recall ever seeing his face in St Walkers before, but then again every black guy looks the same to him. "Where'd you come from, and what's up with the belt? You some sort of plumber?" he spoke as they headed back into the 'workshop', the bus really being the only thing that stood out.

Eliza offered Alex a small smile before going inside the gate, her eyes widened slightly as the view of her old high-school was right there before her. She bit her bottom lips softly before turning around to face Alex. "You seriously, don't remember me? I was the girl that was always alone and dressed weirdly? They called me weirdo because of how I dressed and I wa--" she stopped speaking for a second before shaking her head as she turned around to face the school once again. It was indeed that Eliza was the lone wolf out of all of them and didn't have that much of friends but that was only through-out her freshman to sophomore years. Now, Eliza was the typical girly girl with a twist, doesn't care about make-up much but usually goes for black colors instead of pink. Oh, and she isn't afraid to get her hands dirty, if need to hunt? She'll be there.

"Well, never mind that. No one really spoke to me back then but anyways my name is Eliza. And I've been away and looking for survivors for a while. I just didn't know that.. they will be in my old high-school. Hah.. memories." she'd sigh while running her fingers through her soft hair before turning around to look at Alex once again. Eliza didn't completely trust him, because now-a days anyone could smile at someone but stab them right in the back. "Your name?"

When Eliza started to explain who she was, Alex started to comb through his memories again. Okay, who did he know that was a loner back then? There were a lot of people who he knew that was like that. Someone who dressed weirdly? Well, he never noticed any of them. If you came from a neighborhood that had a lot of odd people, you would learn how that is normal. But when she said her name, well, that was when it dawned upon him. They never talked but he always heard of her from his friends before. But he never paid attention to it. "Oh! You're that girl they keep on talking about. Nice to meet 'ya Eliza."

He then chuckled. "Well, don't you recognize me? Come on, baseball player? Close to being ace? Homerun hitter? Nothing?" He didn't really mind if she didn't recognize him. Sure he was famous but he was completely overshadowed by their ace pitcher and ace batter. "Alexander. You can call me Alex though." He said with a smile before extending his right hand for a shake.
