@ProPro If a couple of them knew what he was doing--forming a new team of Rangers--and helped him, would it be problematic? I wanted the oldest to be someone that's in on it, with maybe the middle child finding out later.

@SoleAccord That could be something, sure. That could even be worked in with another player as the "assistant" character.

@ProPro Was actually hoping you'd say that, since I wanted that for the oldest but wasn't sure you'd bite. I don't think there's any assistant interest so this works perfectly for me.

@SoleAccord I will be making multiple just in case we need something somewhere and one of mine has two people going for it. Assistant is one I was going to make something for. I haven't fleshed that one out any though yet.

@alexfangtalon Oh boy. Guiding these crazy kids is one thing, but you as an assistant means our relationship is going to be very tough depending on how different they might be.

Personally I'm not down for the button thing, but if you guys want it I can just say that it was the only tech he could gather while pointing out how inefficient it is.

As the design currently stands, there are no buttons on it. But there is a gem in the center. If lots of people want buttons I may change that.

There must be some Power Rangers series that I've missed (I know I didn't watch In Space, Lost Galaxy or Lightspeed Rescue I don't think), cause I have no idea what you're talking about XD

Space had buttons. I don't think any other team used them--thank god. I think the coolest thing people did was morph while running, mid-fighting, or using the revving mechanism like in Overdrive where they slid it across their body. You can't really do any of that with buttons.

Maybe buttons can be used to unlock morphers after they've been locked. Sort of a protection mechanism so they don't fall into the wrong hands.

@SoleAccord SPD. Roboknight from Megaforce. There are others. Buttons have been used a fair amount, due to the MASSIVE OVERUSE OF CELLPHONES AS MORPHERS!

@ProPro I've seen clips where they morphed via just holding the device and saying their call. I didn't watch SPD despite the great reception I heard it had. I have no real bias for or against a cell phone-like device, but inputting a code into it to unlock it puts a bit of a damper on the epic factor when they need to look down and dial it in. Space wasn't terrible, but morphing was a downgrade. You went from it being a very physical thing--combining two devices to form one, using a key to access the power, and simply just holding onto the device and accessing the power by calling on your chosen dinosaur--to "Please stand there as I press these buttons, one second."

If I wrote an oppressive villain with no honor, he'd be attacking you guys before that went off. None of that 'magical dodge despite you not moving' stuff.

Would the morphers bond to us like RPM? That could be a potential sixth ranger thing like with Ziggy?
