@Kouki Krillin is awesome. World's strongest human (I don't count Uub). You're thinking of Yamcha. He's so far behind you don't even notice he's there, unlike Krillin who actively participates and at least gets attention even when he does become irrelevant.

....I hope you die during a mission to destroy the enemy base where we thought we were in the clear but it turns it's the part of the story where things only get worse and it's our base that's being attacked but we used all of our defense on the final attack that turned out to do nothing.

And I hope, that while the building falls around you and your assistant daughter that it turns out there's only one escape pod so you give it to her, unaware if it'll make her any safer than she is in that moment.

And I hope that while you're fighting off the horde that broke in, we hear you over the radio telling us how you're proud of us and I hope that in the last minute, you smile at this old picture we forced you to take with us in an earlier episode and I hope you go out smiling as you face death with a level of grace that makes everyone on this RP shed a tear..

Yeah, I wish the "going down with the ship, broken heart style, no way he survived that, no way to bring him back, children crying in the background, not lettin this on disney, style death upon you.
