Name;Elysia Asha
Age;25
Appearance;Sharp yellow eyes stare out under the curtains of black hair falling in curls and ringlets to frame a sharp jawline and high cheek bones, in the flames of a fire they seem to spark with energy and a life of their own; pale skin stands in stark contrast to the raven colored hair. Soft pink lips and an upturned nose do little to blemish the rest of her face, a serene beauty backed by an devilish grin and a permanent look of mischief.
The only marring in the smooth skin would be a small scar running down her cheek, a gift from her former life, a pale comparison to the day where it was an angry red that drew the eyes of anyone who looked at her.
A well built woman, muscles outlining the red cloth outlining her body, held in place by armor bound with leather filling it out in all the right ways. Though not many would still openly ogle her, many had received a swift kick to the nether regions in reply. The cloth continued behind her almost like a cape, torn and tattered on the ends. Leather shorts lined with cloth covered her lower half, leaving her part of her thighs and knees exposed until they ran into armored boots, guaranteed to do damaged if one was to meet with the business end of her pointed shoes.
The skin underneath the clothes bore the same scoring and markings, scars that were kin to the one adorning her face, sharp angled slits and wide furrows, some barely visible while others barely looked a month old. It was easy to tell that multiple weapons had a hand in decorating her skin not that any had the privilege of seeing them, and the last one she caught peeping and been left folding up into a small ball on his wife’s porch bearing the marks of her boot.
Personality:Cocky, arrogant, hot tempered, and brazen are a few words that are often used to describe Elysia, but there are just as many people who would call her kind, and caring. A conundrum of sorts, the raven haired woman is like a whirlwind flying around with different emotions and tones ever changing in how she presents herself. She enjoys being around her charges, happily laughing with them glad they aren’t forced into the same life she was but on the other side of the coin she rarely associates with the older generation of the small town only talking to them when the need or the desire arises. This causes strife between her and the others her age, often leading to her getting into a few brawls at the local water hole, but on the rare occasion she can be found sitting around the fire telling stories of faraway places among the hushed tones and awe whispers at her tales.
While her actions make her seem like one who is quick to anger, she’s learned what anger can make a person do and tries to talk others out of it first searching for other solutions not wanting to truly hurt anyone else anymore.
At least no one that doesn’t deserve it.
Biography;Former Battle Mage of the Clan.
Elysia now spends her time taking care of the children of a small outlying town on the outskirts of Ambrosia, knowing full well how she would be treated by the ADF if they learned about her past. She’s often found playing hide and seek, or chasing one of smaller wards around happily calling them a
good for nothing damned brat, When she first arrived at the village she was often chided for her use of colorful language but it was what she was raised around and it would take a while to break her of that habit.
Often times she’s found practicing her swordsmanship out in an open field or following one the hunters around learning about different techniques or bothering an explore to tell her about the outside world, about places she herself hadn’t been before. Later in the day she can be found sitting around the fire with the children explain the new information and teaching them about the different inhabitants and ways of the world sincerely wanting them to have a better childhood than she did.
Born to a captured Pledge mage and a high ranking raider of the Clan, Elysia was brought up in a cruel world where everyone had to fight for their own survival and prestige. Her childhood was spent brawling with other kids, learning how to pick pockets and wield a dagger. Her mother had spent months weeping at the life her daughter would never know, while her father had a temper and when she couldn’t perform to standard he would leave physical reminders about the world she lived in. The only solace the girl found was with a small child who lived next door, they would play and fight together and soon became fast friends in a world where having friends was inviting betrayal into your house.
This went on until the young girl turned five and was allowed on her first raid, it was a small caravan transporting goods from an outlying mine. The Clan could get good money selling those crystals to shard heads, or keeping them for their own uses. The green eyed girl watched eagerly as the carts approached the narrowing of the canyon, a group of twenty waited above made mostly of the young children waiting for their chance to prove their worth. It was like watching in slow motion as the lead horse crumpled, hobbled by a row of hidden spikes a trap set by Rera a small girl apt with metalworking and trap making. A wild battle cry left their leaders lips and the group surged down the canyon walls, whooping and hollering in excitement, the men of the caravan scrambled to draw their weapons and create a wall around the carts but the light guard they had hired was quick work for the Clan. Grinning wildly like an untamed animal Elysia scrambled past and under the guards kicking the legs out from under him as a group of children set upon him with glee until nothing but a pool of blood was left of him.
Cutting the ropes holding the cover in place, small hands tore greedily at the cloth pulling it away revealing a large pile of crystals, all color gleaming up at her begging to be touched and to be used. The longer she stared at them the louder the song echoing in her mind got, what felt like hours to the small ragged child was merely minutes as her hand closed around a yellow crystal electricity running through her as her green eyes slowly started to change growing brighter and brighter almost as if they were alive. Shaking her head she quickly pocketed the crystal tucking it under her shirt tightening her belt to keep it from falling out before calling out for a bag stuffing the rest into it throwing it back down, by that point others had joined her on the cart just as quickly bagging their new found loot.
At that point she didn’t know just how her life would change because of that bright crystal pressed against her skin.
Her mother soon found her playing with the gem, bright arcs of lightning jumping from one hand to the other, the older woman desperately tried to hide her child’s gift for magic teaching her in secret for almost a year before they were found out. The young girl was ripped away from her family and given to the head mage to be taught with the rest of the children who showed promise. Her years were soon split between practicing her combat skills with learning the workings of magic. She wasn’t as adept as the others with controlling her magic and learning more complex spells but the ones she did pick up and focus on would forge a new path for her to take. By the time she was sixteen the child had grown into a young woman slowly coming into herself, a woman who had become fond of blood and battle. She would often visit Rera, spend her free time watching the woman’s slender fingers make quick work of repairs and crafting new and more elaborate traps. It wouldn’t be until years later that she’d realize how enamored she’d been with her only friend.
But they were both at the age of womanhood meaning that if desired the higher members of the clan could claim them as wives. Disgusted by the idea of marrying some sloven pig that had earned his position long ago, she sought out a raid team leader by the name of Javo seeking to join his team, he was more than eager to take a mage along with him. His last raid left half his men dead and he didn’t want to deal with the repercussions of that failure again. She spent months with his group honing her skills and feeding her taste for blood and combat, it soon became clear to anyone that worked with her that she wasn’t a simple mage that hung back and chanted.
By the age of nineteen she had come into her right as a full blown battle mage.
Returning one night after a raid she found out that Rera had been killed, her husband in a drunken rage and tired of his wife’s blatant dislike of him he thought he would teach her respect but it had gone too far. It was at that time that whispers of doubt towards the Clan started bubbling in her mind, she knew better to go against the rules of the Clan but on the next raid she slipped away from the team on a whim deciding to test her luck with the outer world wanting to see what else laid beyond her small view of the world. For the next few years she spent them traveling taking on odd jobs here and there to help keep herself feed, learning new things and seeing new places. But she was careful, she made sure nothing she did would deliver ill against the Clan, even when she settled down in the small town she spoke nothing of where she had came from and what she was simply posing as a traveler looking to settle down.

Lightning Magic;~Heaven’s Messenger:
Dark clouds cover the air, winds howl and run as the sky hides in shame. The clouds spark and swirl creating a vortex of energy as the lightning builds. Time and dedication is need to perform it correctly, the slightest break in concentration can cause it to go awry and unleash the energy wherever it sees fit to discharge. A dangerous spell to try in a fight, it’s best left for ambushing or destroying a target before the user is spotted. When done correctly the heavens part and unleash a lash of lightning on the target, a powerful hit that last at most five seconds. It leaves the user as drained as their crystal, so it’s rarely used being written off as impractical no matter how powerful it is.
~Divine Shock:
It sends out a shock wave that can stun the unexpected and on the rare occasion send others stumbling backwards. Its main intent is to make an opening for others to exploit, offering a chance for either a counter attack or to simply deal with unwanted pest in a timely manner. Because it uses little of the crystal’s power, it’s not the strongest and doesn’t work against well guarded and prepared victims.
~Azure Blaze:
Channeling the power into a small ball resting in her hand, it takes the shape and color of a sparking blue sphere emitting a bright light. It can either be used to provide simple light in a dark cavern or with a little more power feed into it the sphere will explode blanketing the area with a bluish white light blinding the area. It focuses on the light emitted by a lightning strike, amplifying it to provide a cover. Either to spring a surprise attack or give the user means to escape and flee. While it takes little power to summon and explode the sphere the longer the light is generated the more power it drains, making it a poor choice for long term use or solely relying on it for a light source.
Weapons;Sorine’s Reach:A metal gauntlet fashioned to fit Elysia perfectly, it covers the entire expanse of her left arm ending in claws at the tips of her fingers. Used both for offense and defense, the once bright metal now dinged and scratched showing signs of use and age. Made out of a light metal, it’s only capable of blocking light blows and some common projectiles. The claws show signs of constantly being sharpened and cleaned, they gleam unlike the rest of its counterparts. It adds a few more inches to her reach, and leaves deep nasty gashes when they close around flesh or basic cloth.
Aello’s Wind:A long sword, crafted light enough that she only needs to wield it with a single hand but durable enough to not break on impact. Unusually long for a double-edged sword the hilt is smaller to compensate for it, as is the pommel a bright yellow jewel resting in the metal of it. The extra length lends it speed and with enough force behind the cut it said that wind itself follows the blade. Quick and agile the sword excels at offense but is a bit clumsy when it comes to defending at a close range, the long blade making it hard to maneuver at short sharp angles.
Rai’s TearA bright yellow crystal on a long silver chain, the silver continues down to encase and ensnare the gem in a cage of filigree and branches. It’s light shines through the silver tree lighting up the leaves. Elysia uses it as her source of magic, the cool stone resting against her bare skin as it's tucked behind her shirt and armor the chain running down past her chest barely stopping at her midriff allowing the crystals power to be absorbed through the abdomen where it can pool and wait to be used by its caster. The silver work makes it hard to discern that it’s a true crystal, most of her charges just write it off as a pretty piece of jewelry she doesn’t want stolen.
