Reading Others' 1×1s

I generally don't read other people's rps, 1x1 or otherwise. Like many here I simply don't have the time and the time I do have here I dedicate to talking with my friends or my own rps. Though occasionally I do find myself scanning through friend's rps. I'm a bit of a stalker like that lol. I have noticed a lot of other people viewing a 1x1 I have going. Usually the accounts are ghost account so it shows as "4 users viewing this page" or however many it may be. And sometimes I'll see actually usernames. I'm wondering if it's people actually reading the store, whether they find it interesting or just to make fun of it, or people barely passing through. Me and my friend always joke that we have fans. Though I doubt any random people would be that interested in our story... or would they?

I read RP’s in general, I have quite a few subscribed— but this topic is one I think we’ve had a few times. To the question if I read 1x1’s specifically? No, but there are 1x1’s that cross my eye and I feel interested in reading. I don’t post in OOC’s of these threads due to the last time I did that I was given the impression that I had no place being in the thread as a non-player (and that was from a RP with a person I used to be friends with); not even for casual chat or even complimentary comments. That sort of exclusivity turned me off from publicly doing that. In short, I read singular and group RP’s that catch my eye but I rarely will mention them. I used to have a list in my signature but I removed it to save space. Might return it now that I miss publicly acknowledging others work.

I always get a little weirded out to see people reading my threads. I really wish the whole "Users viewing this page" function didn't exist. I don't need to know who is potentially wasting their time judging my writing. Ughhhh.
