"This isn't going anywhere." Eryx said, jumping up. He understood how their powers manifested now and was annoyed with the humidity. He had a glove he fabricated, heat resistant coating with rubber inside, a plate of allow was laid in several locations such as the palms and knuckles. He moved forward, slapping the fireball while snapping his hand open to disperse the compressed air. The fireballs were slow, he pushed each one off before suddenly sending his hand to backhand Avery, suprise was his only advantage on a speed user.
The regular brains needed processing times, instincts where he did not and he chose to use this, his other hand ppreparing to follow up at the slightest sign that Avery would try to retreat or block him for a second suprise. "These hot headed idiots will just exhaust themselves, they're immune to eachother, these abilities are not meant to go against eachother." The slap was more than anything to put the child in place, giving him a final opportunity to grow up and accept the reality of his place.
Eryx eyed Ryan at their distance with warning, he'd made his point already about the dispersion of the abilities, the challenge he offered was raw and physical. "Dog, stop trying to lead a pack through dominance, there will be no one to follow you. We're prisoners and you have no authority, use your damn head and back down, this is a forced ending. You're both wasting time where we can be productive."
