Hey guys, no doubt that you've been experiencing a lot less activity in this thread. We're incredibly sorry about that, it's completely our fault. We really hate to do this, but after a lot of discussion we've decided to close this roleplay. We've had so much fun setting this up, and we were all really excited to see what everyone came up with. Unfortunately, all of us have been experiencing GM burnout, and combined with upcoming exams and other real life things, we all came to the conclusion that we are not able to give you guys the dedication that everyone deserves.

We had an amazing time here with you guys, and we really hope to find the chance to write with you guys again — every single one of you is a fantastic writer, and we were really honoured to be able to collaborate with you all.

Gotta agree with Silent. Ain't this a lil drastic? RP is barely three weeks old and we already/still have more activity than many RP's.

If that's your call though - that's your call.

I'm here to support McHaggis' and her teams' decision. It's unfortunate, yes, but their well beings are far more important than a story that can always be rebooted in the future.

Save your guys' characters, you may be able to use them in the future.

Being a GM is a lot of work, especially when you're in school. So I'm glad that they're honest. Some GMs disappear from the face of the Earth ultimately leading to the same end.

At least they have the decency to tell us that they can no longer carry this roleplay on.

As a roleplayer, we must go with the waves since many people behind the screen have lives outside of this world. So.

For those of you who want to continue, I have no problem with you lot using the thread and characters as you please; and to reiterate it's not because of the slow pace of it and the current activity at three weeks is completely admirable and I'm so glad you guys are into it. The GMs are backing out now because none of us are able to continue running it for a variety of reasons and would not be able to do it justice, especially not if we're holding people back.

It's cool, I get it. The news just made me sad initially is all. :[ I'll keep my eyes out for a reboot in the future I suppose.

I'm glad ya'll were honest about having to end it instead of just peacing out.

Well, I can't say I'm not disappointed, because I really love this RP on so many levels. Great lore, loads of fun people, engaging GMs... I will miss it.

But I completely understand the need to scale down your online (and real life) commitments with exams coming up, I did the same myself last year. It's not fun but beneficial in the long run, so good luck with them!

I'll miss all of my fellow players and my special snowflake characters... and I hope for a reboot of this at some point in the future!
