Genesis and Fenrir both saw the riddle simultaneously, Genesis rubbed her head trying to connect the pieces together rather confused while her brother rolled his eyes some, recognizing the answer immediately. "This old one again hmm?" He muttered aloud, getting Genesis's attention. Before she could ask him what the answer was out of curiosity, she noticed and watched the man starting to sign as Fenrir turned his attention to him, looking away and shifting his head as he was touched, highly disliking being touched by other people which was obvious by his irate expression. Backing up far enough to not be in arms reach, before sitting back down. "She asked are you staying, and can you clarify I don't like being touched." Fenrir replied surprisingly calm in tone. Genesis looked at the man smiling. "Honestly, I'm not sure. I wanted to get these chains off first before I make that decision." She admitted having a feeling her brother would reject the idea of her staying any longer than what was necessary. "Also, my brother really doesn't like human physical contact..." She explained trying to not sound rude.

Bishop laughed for a moment before speaking. "Feenrirr.." as he spoke he watched the wolf. Then shifted his attention back to the girl but down toward her feet. "I'll take you to the old man." he signed then walked away from the two glancing over his to make sure they were following.

The chains remained in place, unscathed after the ice attack attempted by the other mage. They both looked at each other for a moment after hearing the man speak, as Genesis turned her attention to the young man with a smile. "I'm sorry, I guess I may not need help after all. Forgive my intrusion." Genesis said bowing her head lightly, as she proceeded to follow the other man, as Fenrir followed again behind her. "Hopefully this help will actually be helpful." He mutters aloud sounding grumpy.

Griffin frowned riddles weren't something he was good at. He tried to ignore the people solving the problem before he did. The mental part of the tournament was always his downfall. He hadn't expected it to come so early. The last thing he wanted was to be demoted because he couldn't pass the first test. The solution was probably something simply. He just had to think. The longer he took the further ahead the others got.

Bishop approached gramps tapping him in his head before gesturing toward the chains around the girls legs. Gramps knew of Bishops "Disability" so he wasn't concerned with signing or speaking for that matter.

It would take Charles a few moments of thinking before he came up with the answer and passed to the next part, thanks to being use to strange sayings he got use to finding answer for things like this.

Genesis continued to follow quietly close behind him, watching the man, looking at Fenrir when he starts speaking. "I'll be really pissed if we went through everything we did for nothing." He bluntly states keeping his head low to the ground. Genesis noticed his movements were not as sharp as usual.

"Don't be so negative." She replies still looking at her brother while continuing to move forward. Fenrir glared up at her.

"Don't look at me while your-" Fenrir started to reply in a tone that sounded irritated. Genesis suddenly shifted her foot in the wrong position and trips as she goes forward. Fenrir jumps out to stop her, grabbing her shirt with his jaw to stop her from falling. As her face ends up being inches away from the back of his neck, he might of even felt her breathe, from almost running into him. Before she was pulled upright by her brother though hearing a mild ripping sound, she blushes a little feeling embarrassed.

"S-sorry." She apologizes to Bishop and her brother. "Clumsy fool." He sighs out, though relieved she was okay.

Gramps nodded at Bishop. He studied the girl and the wolf. Welcome. We are having a tournament. You are welcome to join. If you wish to rest you can but this is a good way for new members to find their place in the guild. Do you have questions?" he sighed as he spoke out of habit. It was a good habit to have on case someone else needed it.

I'd slowly walk up to in front of the guild among others participating in the guild. Today was the day I could finally prove my salt, and fit in within society. Staff in hand, I would seem to pray as I was in the back of the crowd, though in reality I was speaking thoughts to my spirit dragon, Kilgarrah, himself. He seemed to chide me over this matter, though his voice has yet to be exposed outside of my head.

Azerus

Returns, Tournament~Day one,

In the distance a silhouette rose up along the long dirt trodden path leading into town.
With the rising morning sun behind the traveller, beating down on his back, his details were obscured in his own shadows.
A large backpack towered over his head, burdened by its weight he walked with an exhausted stagger. Many people were drawn to the guild that morning but none had travelled as far or as tirelessly as he.

When the guild finally fell into sight and the amassing of crowds were seen Azerus let out a relieved sigh through smiling lips. He had just made it.

Closing his eyes he summons all of his remaining magic, it starts as small white flames dancing around on his skin but as he concentrates on the energy and pulls it deeper within himself it begins to flash and arc across his body like strands of lightning. His muscles now rejuvenated and bursting with magic Azerus runs with the unnatural speed of the wind, racing through the town, carrying more weight than a normal person should be able too.

Bursting through the guild doors Azerus quickly unloads his distant job accomplishments and trophies (not to mention a massive guild payload) and races out side to complete the first test.

He passed it with a miserable grumble and complaint, barely slowing for for the challenge at all.
He looks around at the new faces sharing his insignia, 'the guild had been recruiting while he was away.'
He looks for one face in particular.
"Moeasha!" he calls out loudly over the crowds.

The second stage was a test of strength. There was a series of walls lined up. Each wall was about 3 feet wide and about ten feet tall. The contestants would have to lift the wall in front of them. The walls started light, about 5 pounds, and got heavier as they went until they reached 3 tons.

Lance was one of the first people to go, he clapped his hands together "God slayer lightning embodiment" Lance said as his body started ciricling with electric energy increasing his power. He gripped the wall and capped out at about 2.3 tons reaching his limit. When he let go of the wall it made a loud slam into the ground, he let go of his lightning state returning back to the other contestants.

@pkken

Azerus's teeth gritted and his lip curled at Lance's impressive display.
"...bloody Lance!"

he grumbled to himself as he stretched and warmed up his own muscles. Kain could produce a replica of lightning but he couldn't 'embody a lightning god'.
Soon he swiftly sweeps through the crowd of participants as they were distracted by the next volunteer, touching many people casually and briefly. Kain used every second of physical connection to draw more and more magical energy into himself, he was going to need it.

...

The heavier the walls became the more Azerus was covered in both sweat and soft white flames. By the time he came to the wall Lance had failed on he was utterly consumed by a bright burning light as he infused himself with much of his magic.
He had strained himself and his limits to get here, now he stood there struggling and shaking beneath the weight of the heavy half raised wall.
He began to tremble, needing only to lift it a few more feet, determination echoing in his growing roar.
Sadly his lengthy battle began to falter as inch by inch the wall began to lower.
It seemed there was nothing left he could do, no hidden reservoir of energy or left over magic.

The strength inducing flames began to dwindle then in a sudden bright flash he changed to lightning magic and with lightning speed positioned himself beneath the crushing weight with his back pressing up against the obstacle, his hands and arms resting on his shaking knees.

He would not settle for equalling Lance's effort, he must win.
Despite moving himself in danger Kain found a still focus in his endless determination.
Instead of fuelling his strength with fire he began stilling his energy until he began to freeze into ice.
It was a slow process, far slower than any other wall attempt, but every obstacle had more than one solution.
Kain's entire body became covered and reinforced by ice. He didn't stop there, soon he was a solid frozen brick beneath the wall, wedging it up.

From there it took a further five long painful minutes of exerting his strength while slowly raising the level of supporting ice. Eventually he did it, and as soon as the wall reached its marker Azerus collapsed due to over-exertion and his ice barricade shattered.

Griffin studied the walls. He was strong but there was no way he was getting through all the wall. He doubted he could do more then a couple hundred. His power didn't really increase his strength. He didn't like that some of the others were stronger then he was but that was just the reality of life. He would push himself as hard as he could. He quickly made his way through as many walls as he could.

Charles would look at the walls with a raised brow then he would take out a small topaz and do a silent chant before dropping it an it vanishes as suddenly 3 Silverback Gorillas appear around him and they lift the walls for him to go through, three gorilla's combine who could lift approximately close to 1500 LB by them selves, so one would assume with 3 they could lift 4500 LB's combined which is two tons and 500 pounds.

"Wow I Am not going to do good I am more speed then strength." she said to herself taking a deep breath as she looked at the wall examining it.she took a deep breath releasing her ice dragon roar on the ground under the walls. She took about ten steps back before dashing forward. She jumped high into the air above the crowd quickly firing another roar at the iced ground making a large pillar of ice. She lifted her hand up before smirking "hammer of the ice dragon."she said allowing her hand to be covered in a huge amount of ice. Using her momentum and aimming at a angle at the pillar sending large shards of ice near each wall shattering the ground which in turn replied and shattered as the force of the impact and the energy from the other shards forced every wall up till 2 and a half tons, which barely made it past the Mark.

Amaya landed, watching the result as she scratched her head "oops...I over did it I think."She commented feeling embrassed as she miscalculated her strength in her figeration of techniques.
