Ro'Kun....and interesting individual....quite animated. Miles smirked a little from his statement and unintentionally started a fire after snapping his fingers, gesturing how quick he could make friends. This dude is silly as hell, but....hey nothing wrong with lighting up the mood. reaching out to shake Ro'Kun's hand Miles gave a nod Cool to meet ya. Guess I could say the same...except the eating part but it's nice to relax for once. So what's your hero name? hope it's not as lame as mine. and..... looking over at the ladies were you trying to...you know.....with the boss's sister?

Miles noticed Jess coming in with a big tray of snacks/food or whatever the hell was on it as she sat down to eat what she had. I mean...goddamn...did she want to become a fat bitch eating all of that unless her metabolism was higher than a giraffe's ass? Despite Miles' calm demeanor on the outside, he usually had a mess going on in the inside, speaking out internally of what he thought. He was to give her a smirk if she was to look towards him as a friendly gesture before bringing his attention back to Ro'Kun.

Rey "Glitch

Rey headed out of his office looking for Tia to discuss with her what he had planned so far and started working on. Heading through the halls, noticing spots that would be wonderful for a few ray cannons and possibly drones, Rey ran pass the lounge, skidding and nearly knocking over another staff member of the HQ. He turned and headed back to the lounge and saw a few people in there, two guys talking to each other, a young woman eating a shitload of food and this new hot chick and Tia..TIA! Ah! Miss Tia...I finally found you. Sorry don't mean to intrude but I was reporting to you and I have something I wanted to bring to your attention....a prototype of my plasma ray....a new line of defense for our base....if it was completed earlier, I would've used it.

Red Strike (Ro'Kun)

He grinned when Shiver laughed. At least he could be the funny guy. The two ladies had their conversation, and Tia's raised voice drew his eyes to the two as they talked. They did look alike he noted. If he wasn't so hungry he'd have been smiling at their conversation. It was endearing to see Tia like that, and Shiver was really cool so far.

He found Miles shaking his hand, and Ro'kun gave him the nod of a comrade and dude. "Yeah my hero name i-holy shit..." he said, looking at Jess bring in food. It was as much food as he had brought in! Speaking of which...
He grabbed one of the 4 deli sandwiches he'd smuggled and chomped down on it heartily. He swallowed a bit and continued. "Sorry, my Hero name is Red Strike. Mainly because I wear red and I look like a blurr when I hit some punk bitch who deserves it." He chomped down some more. This was really good, though it needed some mustard. He coughed at Mile's suggestive question, acting almost identical of Shiver coughing from his premature (fire) burst.

He chugged some soda. In fact, he chugged the entire can, and broke it from top to bottom with a hand. "My butt is for paying customers. I'm just being polite, even if Shiver is kick ass." he said. He took another bite of his sandwich. Where were they? Oh. "What's your hero name?" he asked with a full mouth. He covered it with a hand away from the ladies though. He wasn't a total pig. Only most of the time.

WILD GIRL

Small steel pellets floated out of Jess's pocket and flew to the remote on a nearby table where she used them to manipulate the buttons and sift through the channels searching for something good to watch like a documentary.

As she looked for something to feed her mind Jessica levitated her fork using it to scoop up pasta salad after which she used a 24 gage stainless wire she had coiled in her pocket to spiral around a big glass of whole milk that joined the little ghostly dance.

It was her constant practice of using her magnetic powers in such mundane ways that helped Jess maintain a level of fine control that bordered on the involuntary. She'd been a mess up till four years ago barely able to control one item then one day it had been as if her mind had switched operating systems and her spatial awareness had come into cooperation with her thoughts and actions.

Any watching the display who didn't know her might mistake her actions as showing off but those who'd trained her had enforced a regime of training that never stopped.

There was also a side benefit that doing so much and occupying so much of her thoughts; it made the conversation between the others fade into a mumbled back ground noise.

" No, not long at all." Kain said in bewildered disbelief looking at the machine. "will it fix anybody and any injury?"
The excited glint in his eyes showed something mischievous running through his head.

He didn't hang around after that, his mask reformed and he hurried out the room leaving Sarah and the Doc to get acquainted.

"Thanks" Sarah stammers, rubbing her head slightly confused.

Meanwhile Kain found himself in the depths of the labs as he began scrummaging through old parts and supplies. He was familiar around a circuit board but much of what he found was of a technology above his level of competence.
As he pieced together bits he knew he wanted, he kept an eager eye out for any 'important' staff that may be able to aid him.

Omega a.k.a Michael Watts

Omega continued to play with his contraption until a low toned beep was heard.

"Ha!" He exclaimed before hearing Tia for the second time on comms. His excitement faded as he looked towards his door and scowled as if the woman was standing in its stead. With a sigh, he figured he could do it since he was not getting too far with his device. "Alright, I'm on my way to get it now. Doesn't mean I won't drive it." He said over comms.

He took his sphere in his hands as he floated out of his room and to the front door. Omega looked as if he was was floating and texting on some superficial futuristic phone as he made it light up and beep. Heven only looked up from it occasionally as he played away.

After some time, Omega arrived on the rooftop. He scowled at the vehicle just sitting up there before it was lifted off the ground by his telekinesis.

"Follow me." He said to the car as it flopted behind him and off the roof.

"Follow me..." The sphere repeated in a low computerized feminine voice. Omega froze as he heard the sphere speak. "Recognizing phrase... recognizing language... loading data."

"What the fuck?!" He said loudly causing pedestrians below to look up at a man with a flouting car. People exclaimed at the vehicle being held above their heads.

"Cataloging fingerprints... cataloging voice..." The sphere kept going on. Omega didn't know what he should do, except go fast. Without letting the sphere say anything more, Omega flew quickly to the HQ and forced the garage door open. He placed Kain's vehicle inside and shut the garage behind him as he chose to enter the HQ through it.

"Tia, it's done!" He shouted frantically into comms as he ran into his room and slammed the door shut. "Shit..." He said under his breath as he looked at the sphere in fear of what might happen next. He watched slowly as the sphere seemed to have broken it's seal as gas releases from it. So it is a container. He thought just as it cracked open to reveal some kind of gauntlets that appeared to look like they were meant be part of some kind of exoskeleton as they didn't appear to entirely cover the hand and fingers. Instead, it seemed to mimic the design of the bone structure in his hands on the surface. These gauntlets or gloves seemed to extend a few inches past the wrists leaving some kind of unknown device to sit at the wrist. He stated for a while, before shutting the sphere closed and throwing it towards the closet. Omega's telekinetic grass helped put in its chest before the closet shut close. "Not today." He said to himself as he headed toward the lounge.

As he entered, Omega saw that it had a good amount of people in it. There was also a newcomer that he looked at for a fraction of a second longer than the others. He headed straight to the fridge where he saw Jessica who was off on her own eating food for more than there people.

"You gonna share?" He smiled before pulling some pasta salad heading towards her mouth, into his own. "Or do I have steal it." He said as he chewed. "How was your patrol with the walker?" Omega asked as he dug into the fridge for a canned beer. The tab seemed to peel back on its own aset he pulled the can up to sip it. "You might have more control than I do." He noted as noticed her multi-tasking.

"Thank you Omega! Kain? Did you hear that? Your car is in the garage safe and sound. So...lighten up!" Tia actually smiled in relief. When Omega walked in she smiled at him for possibly the first time ever, she walked over to him and Jess.

"Hey guys, Jess, Omega this is Shiver. She is Wicked's daughter. She is going to be part of the team. Shiver, Omega is the guy in 2 right next to you so don't piss him off please. If you do he has my permission to bug the hell out of you."

Shiver smiled and ignored Tia. "Okay, I promise not to bug him...too much." Tia rolled her eyes at her and grinned at Jess. "Hungry much Jess? I'm only teasing, I eat like that too. It has to do with the energy we burn from certain powers. Fliers, regeneration, super strength and speedsters are notorious for massive food consumption." Tia laughed. "You should see the food bill for this place. Speaking of which I need to check the fax machines be right back."

Tia walked down the hall and over to her office. "Please don't be any faxes. Please don't be any faxes." She was thrilled to see that there were only normal faxes until something caught her eye. Looking closer her face became furious. The mayor wanted them to pay for the damage to the statues and the parks. She had spoken to that man for two hours the other day and they had gone round and round about it and he had agreed that it would come out of the taxes they had already collected. Tia stomped back into the lounge.

"Sometimes the new mayor frustrates the hell out of me!" She spoke to the room. They looked at her and she continued. "Now after we agreed on how to pay for the damages to the parks and statues he wants US to pay for them." She looked like she might throttle the mayor if he were to walk in at that moment.

Shiver smirked, "What did you guys do to the park and statues?"

Tia looked at her trying not to smile. "That's not the point!"

Shiver just knew, "You guys destroyed it didn't you?" She said looking around the room.

"Yeah we did but we had no choice. The Enchantress brought them to life and made them attack the city and the citizens. I should send him the bill for my medical." She smiled liking that idea and she said. "You know I think I will, all of our medical bills from the fight. I'll get that obnoxious guy right in the wallet." She laughed and turned to go back to the office.

While Tia was in the office she thought about Kain's lack of respect and put in a call to R&D to stop any and all requests from Kain until further notice. From here on in she was not going to give him anymore leaway. She had had enough.

Tia glanced at something she had missed. There was a note on the floor next to the door. She picked it up, it was from Kain. He was leaving the HQ permanently. She looked outside and saw that his car was nothing but tail lights in the distance. Tia dropped her head and sighed. What's next?

Sound Wave

James didn't have too much trouble with dealing with the intruders that attacked the base and eventually found himself alone with no one else left to fight. This was a rather exiting day and now that all of the action was over, James felt the need to hit the showers. It felt good to be getting a good rest after a hard day's work and he would try to improve his capabilities for the next crisis that would come along.

[Dark Light]

In the depths of the lab Kain eventually found what he was looking for without interruption.
A prototype 'Limited learning, simulated simple AI' inbuilt into a targeting chip. These were not uncommon in advanced automatic turret systems. Kain added in a few diagnostic tools and extra enhanced sensory data inputs and assimilated it all into his suit.

Extra pieces, such as useful circuitry, advanced computer ware, tools and the schematic's for the plasma gun were put into a brief case.
Kain had just stolen, he had fallen to his petty crimes again, already.
He realised his failings but there was no other way, there was a bigger picture then someone's feelings.

Kain casually strolled right through the building and to his car, it appeared nonchalant but beneath that metal suit he was nervous and sweating.

"Yes!" he accidentally shouts in relief noticing his car was back. His sudden plan was so impromptu he had almost forgotten about its placement on the bank roof. But lucky enough here it was, as he approached it his heart sank as it roared to life.
"Shit! No, no, no" he screams.
His heart stopped as he thought it was being stolen until Sarah popped her bright smiling head out the window.

Kain was almost sure that woman could read his mind. He didn't care.
In a flash he threw the briefcase into the car and climbed across the back seat with as much haste as he could muster while still being gentle to the upholstery in a giant metal suit.

Then they were off, leaving the HQ far behind them. Kain never having even unpacked, left nothing behind. Sarah had left a note and signed it in Kain's name...

Ro'Kun sat on the arm of the couch as he watched everyone speaking. Lot of stuff going on around here, he told himself. He nommed some more on his deli sandwich. Wait...he was on his second one. No third. True, he had one left so it was the third. But this one had some honey mustard. Excellent. He gave a guilty grin when they spoke about the statues breaking. He'd kicked one straight in the head to help Brian out.

Red Strike huh? heh....it fit you. Sounds bad ass and have a good reason behind the name. Mine is Visi-Play....my uncle named me that because of my two optic/vision abilities and the ability to go invisible to the naked eye. He said it's like a visual play on things with my abilities.....I said with that dumb ass name, you might as well go all out and call me Eye-Spy to make it worse. he said when he noticed Ro'Kun checking out what Jess had. and if your ass is for paying customers, I assume you have a gigolo name too... bringing his attention to others who have just arrived as well when Ro'kun went to sit down. excuse me friend...but I need to speak to that guy over there with the tech blaster in his hand. pointing to Rey as he was trying to get Tia's attention.

Walking over, Miles noticed one of the guys who looked to have a blaster in his hand and spoke to him yo! I don't think I met you before...I'm Miles- I know who you are....I know all of you in here. I scanned and watched every one of you the moment you first came into the building....but obviously you don't know who I am. I'm Rey...often called Glitch. I'm part of the R&D office. I designed all the devices we use here. and as a technopath and genius inventor...I'm upgrading the security system. But Miles...as much as I'd like to sit and chat, I must have Tia look at my report for the moment. I promise we will see each other soon again....sorry. he said turning to Tia once more.

Raising his eyebrow, Miles noticed another individual near Jess and Ro'kun and headed their way once more.

"Nice to meet Wicked Flame's daughter. I look forward to seeing what you can bring to the battlefield." Omega said shortly before the two went to other matters. Omega took another swig of his before before he noticed Miles walking over. Omega maintained a smug look as he remembered telling the guy to check for any living people in the gas station before it was brought down. "Visi-Play, right? How's the HQ treating you?" He said to his ethnically similar teammate.

Tia walked back into the lounge and announced. "Kain has left the HQ permanently. At least I don't have to worry about that damn car anymore." Tia wasn't sure how she felt about it. She shook it off and went towards Glitch as he was obviously searching her out. "What's up Glitch?" She asked taking the report. "What am I looking at?"

"Ah! yes, um...I have a schematic of the work I'm handling as we speak....the next security system I think this HQ should have. " he said pointing out what was on the tablet he gave her "You see here, these are the plasma cannons I believe we can station throughout the HQ in certain areas...I'm even working on drones we could call on as back up. Just wanted to see what you thought on the matter before I continued further. This blaster I have in my hand right now is a prototype...but it was not working properly so...I couldn't use it during the raid...it should be good now" he showed her.

Tia picked it up and aimed it at the glass door outside. "What's it do?" She said hitting the trigger.

As she pressed the trigger, a energy shot blasted out the weapon, instantly burning and blasting through the glass, not shattering it but seemingly melted a hole through it. "Imagine what that could do to an enemy who is protected with some type of armor. We could stop them in their path. and then if there several around the place, we could sleep a little easier at night."

Tia walked over to the glass door and touched the hole. "Yes, or if it were to malfunction what would it do to a bare skinned body in a bikini? I like the concept but there is going to have to be absolute perfection without chance of failure before I trust it around the team. We tend not to wear armor in here. It would be fatal to someone not regenerating."

"True...I've taken all of that to account but...that's why I said it's a prototype. You should know by now, I don't give my inventions to anyone without proper testing and adjusting first. I'm still working on perfecting it...maybe not with so much kick...or for the bulding itself to recognize between enemy and ally? Either way....this will function properly by the time I'm done with it. As same with everything else I create. Plus...the drones I mentioned...they will have recognition scan so to not attack the wrong person...of coarse...before you say it, I will make sure that they do not back fire on us. like you said about the bikinis...I don't want to see anything that would ruin a tan and soft smooth skin."

Tia chuckled and handed it back to him carefully. "Okay, anything else that I need to see?"

"Nope that was it but if you'll excuse me...I'll need to go check on Evergreen and then get back to work....after I eat first....see you later. Buzz me if you need anything." Glitch said walking away with his blaster.

Erin Dawson - AKA "Pixie"

Erin Dawson bumped along the road in the passenger seat of the black SUV, humming along to her phone's playlist of Justin Timberlake songs. She glanced to the government agent that sat in the driver's seat beside her. "So how far is this place?"

"Far enough to be obscure and safe from civilian activity." He responded, curtly. If she was honest, Erin was surprised by this whole ordeal. She hadn't expected a low-profile government escort to the League HQ. She had honestly expected something along the lines of being bound and blindfolded and forced into the back of an inconspicuous black van. Much to her liking, that had not been the case.

About five minutes later, a massive compound came into view. "Whoah." Erin said, her jaw dropping. She suddenly had a sick feeling in her stomach. "If I faked a fever, would you take me back home?" She looked back at the agent.

"I'm afraid that decision is not up to me." He said.

As they SUV was granted access, they drove towards a tall, six story building. When the vehicle slowed to a halt, Erin climbed to the ground, going around to the trunk to retrieve her suitcase. She opened the hatch, but the suitcase was just out of her reach. Promptly, the agent reached in with his long arms and handed her the bag.

As she moved towards the building, the agent silently got into the car and drove away. Erin swallowed a nervous shudder, but continued into the large building. She walked through the hallways, but she quickly realized that she'd forgotten the agent's instructions.

She turned into another hallway and saw a guy with glasses, holding what looked like a space blaster from Star Trek. She met eyes with him and froze. "I... um... I'm looking for..." She stopped, forgetting the woman's name. She reached to the sleeve of her long, white t-shirt. She saw that the ink she'd use to write the name had smeared into her sleeve, but she could still make out the words, "Tia Clark." She let her sleeve fall back to her wrist and looked up at the man. "I'm looking for Tia Clark... I'm a new superhero, I guess... Pixie, if you'd like."

She desperately hoped he didn't look at her and laugh. Her staggering height of 4'11", bright blue "Doctor Who" backpack, and red-panda t-shirt didn't exactly scream "Stop, evildoers!"

Shiver looked over at Omega. She had heard his response to Tia and this piqued her interest. She looked at him ad he seemed normal enough. At least Tia didn't have an apoplectic fit when his name was mentioned. Not like that other guy that left.

She asked him with a smirky smile on her lips, "So you don't need permission to bug me? Are you sure? You don't now me yet." She puts her hand out towards him. "Whatever you do please don't judge me by my mother's crazy antics. She has been messed up for a long time now. She is still great and all but she has some serious issues too. Pleased to meet you, I'm Shiver."

Jess had all but forgotten the world except the screen that displayed the name of a song on one the free radio sites. The song was ~Gotta Knock A Little Harder -Seatbelts~ and she listened as well as sensed.

"Sorry everyone; I was riding the magnetic waves the surround sound was putting out.

We didn't do this on Lively Island; sure we had screens like this surround was frivolous.

We didn't do anything but train; push the genes." Says Jessica almost sounding oddly unemotional and mechanical. Sounding tone.

Omega had been ready to speak to Miles, but Shiver made her move first as she started a conversation. Is this place getting crowded or what? He thought as a new stranger entered the lounge. Not paying the newcomer much attention, Omega focused on Shiver. He took her hand and smirked back.

"Then how about you tell me about yourself before I assume the apple doesn't fall far from the tree." Omega said before letting go of her hand.

Shiver may not have known it yet, but Omega was reading her pretty hard. Something he did with most. He wanted to know who to stay away from and who he could see himself actively hanging out with. So far, only Jessica had passed over to the better side. Everyone else were on the fence with a few of them leaning towards a side.

"Oh boy, sounds like my mom flipped out on you a bit. Okay, well, I like the normal stuff, movies, animals, babies of all kinds and at the same time I love my powers. I like that I can freeze things, teleport around the world and lift a car with one hand. I also like men and champagne and dancing. I don't really know what exactly you want to know. Tell me about you. Let me see if I can figure you out. Why are you at this HQ? What is your background like?" She opened the door with a hole blown through it and prodded him out onto the terrace so they could talk.

Omega internally debated with himself whether or not to follow Shiver outside. Shiver did not seem so bad. Her abilities seemed like they would be helpful to the team since they had lost Grant early on. Not only did she have strength, but an elemental power as well. Teleportation made her an even better asset... Still, he wasat sure he should go outside to tell his life story to Wicked's daughter.

"Well..." He said as he stepped outside with Shiver. "Before this I was a merc. And I was good at it too. I guess my name got out and the government hired me to be on this ragtag team here." He said as he looked out in the distance. "I don't think I really belong here though. The money seems to be the only thing keeping me." Omega said honestly, but in a rare tone. Not corky or with anger. He sounded as if he was telling a truth he had been keeping to himself for far too long.

Shiver listened intently and nodded. "I can see how mercenary work could be enticing. For the powered like us it would be easy work. The money would be excellent I'm sure." She paused a moment and looked at the night sky. She turned and spoke quietly to him while looking into his eyes.

"The way I see it though, is that anyone can be the bad guy. It's certainly easier and a lot of the time it's more advantageous but it takes a lot more from in here to be a good guy and follow the rules and protect people." When she finished her hand was over his heart.

"I can see in your eyes that you care more for other people than for yourself. That is what makes you fit in here."
