Jesse giggled when the Squints known as Glitch suggested she wear a maids uniform.
"I would take you up on the uniform offer but tragically I'm not presently wearing any undies and it might be frowned pon for me to appear skirt sans nethers guardians.

Then when she'd finished teasing she expanded her spatial senses and picked up in mass all those object made of or containing metals that could be magnetized. Once all those objects were airborne she began refining her separation of things by weight after which she focused on individual clusters separating them as to what they were and placed the newly sorted into piles after which she demagnetized all those objects that didn't already contain such a field.

It took her only minutes to perform her task as she'd been required to perform such exercises as a part of her training and actually a test she'd enjoyed.

She then floated as if she were laying on her stomach on a creeper picking up those pieces immune to her ability by hand.

Shiver and Tia

Tia had looked at Omega with disdain for his attitude when he had no idea what was going on. The government had made Tia and Shiver both promise that they would take her down any way possible before allowing Wicked to go nuclear on the public. Ever since 1986 when she went nuclear the first time it was because Wicked had to let the angel loose to protect mankind. If it happened again without Wicked in control they had no choice but to kill her. The person who told Tia how to do it was Kronos and he was no longer on this planet.

Tia held her temper in check when Omega opened his mouth, going on about things he had no information on. She glared at him and held her tongue because she knew that her sister cared about him. Miles hugged Tia and she let him. She saw Shiver over his shoulder and she was staring at Omega as he walked off without even talking to her. He didn't ask her anything or even check on her. Tia surmised that he didn't return the same affection for her sister.

Tia looked at Shiver and told her, "Go see Glitch I want your blood tested. I want to know how your powers changed. That is not normal and has never happened to anyone. I've heard of issues where powers go down but never where they changed what the powers were." Shiver nodded and hugged her sister with tears in her eyes. "Tia we had no choice. She hasn't been the Wicked we knew in a long time. While at the agency I watched her and grieved for her more than I can tell you. She was less Wicked and more the angel for a really long time. We all knew it was coming."

Tia smiled and hugged her again. "It still doesn't make it easier to kill the woman you call mother." "I know." Shiver held it in check til she was far enough away from Tia that she couldn't hear her crying softly. Shiver went to see Glitch and gave him blood to test. She walked back to her room and stopped at Michael's door and knocked on it. "Michael, I need to talk to you?" When he didn't answer she went into her own room and lay on her bed crying.

Tia walked into the HQ and into her room. Miles went with her and when she walked past her mirror and she saw Wicked's blood all over her. Tia jumped into the shower crying and scrubbing at the blood to get it off. She kept seeing it in her mind. The look on her face. She had been surprised that Tia could kill her. Tia wasn't certain that she could do the job they would want her for next. She got out of the shower and grabbed the phone and called the second in command of the agency. "Bellisima it happened." Miles held her as she told Bellisima what happened.

As Omega rounded the corner to Glitch's lab, he saw Jessica and Pixie talking to the man he wanted to see about these bracers. With a frown, the man turned back towards the elevator. Omega lacked patience, so he figured he could come back later. As he rode the elevator down he looked at the piece of equipment himself. It speaks, so why not ask it about itself?

Omega walked towards his room, only to spot Shiver hurrying from his room and into hers. He raised an eyebrow as he stopped at his door. With a sigh, he walked to Shiver's room and knocked.

"You just missed me, but what's up?"

Visi-Play / Glitch

With a smirk on his face and looking up from Drifter's response, his magnifying lenses he had on, caught a super close look at her from her legs up Well today's your lucky day, you won't cause a frown to appear on me. It's just us...fell free to go as commando as you like. checking the mechanics of the suit after looking at the fabric, ever thing looked good.

Hmm...everything seems to be in place but would you like anything added to it like weapons or a new feature? Seems I looks to assist and not hinder you from using your magnetism and it looks tough too. and I imagine that you can use magnetic force fields too? asking right before Erin walked in on them.

hearing the familiar voice, Glitch looked up and saw the other teenie bopper. Well well how do you do? coming to join Jesse in our super model tech photo shoo- oh um...your weapon...um well so far I've added the electricity to it and I gave it a feature to split into 3 batons with the electric feature as well. You can charge up your weapon too for more damage. Oh and that ice cream dispenser...I can't put it part of the belt to I can still make a transforming portable one that you can call on and will transport itself to you so you can never be with out it anywhere you go!

Glitch looked at these two girls Good grief...I know their underage but...if only I was a teen again...and if I wasn't so close to Evergreen, I'd take them on a date to an observatory and science expo having them wear bikinis with storm trooper helmets...and blasters strapped to their backs he thought to himself making a pervy expression on his face clear as day.

Being unable to find the words to comfort her, Miles stuck with Tia before and after she got her shower and thought to himself whether he still needed to head out to get their plans and equipment back. Yes they still need to get them out the wrong hands but with Wicked gone now thanks to Tia, is she still in trouble or could he still redeem her and the HQ by going out on this mission and finding an individual who could help him on his quest to infiltrate and steal back their things.

Miles held onto Tia a little longer listening to Tia's conversation with this Bellisima person. So what's the next step you want to take?

SHIVER

Shiver answered the door. Tears were streaming down her face. She wiped her eyes and invited him inside. "I was worried about you while you were out there doing god knows what. We had to kill my mo...the angel and you didn't even care enough to ask me if I am ok? You just walked by Tia, making obnoxious comments and right past me without saying a word. How can you be so cruel? We were under orders to do what we did. You don't know the full story so you had no right to be an ass!"

Shiver was so upset that when she waved her hand as she spoke she sent a bolt of electricity into her tv that instantly fried it. "UGH! She cried out in frustration. "I forgot about that." Shiver looked up at him and then at her tv. She was suddenly very tired so she sat on her couch. "Look Bell will be taking over Wicked's place and Tia will remain here so things should go along more smoothly than when Wicked was in charge. So if you are still wanting out just go ahead. Obviously nothing that I do or say matters to you."

Jesse giggles an says
"How'd you know I'd received Commando training?

Then she pivots to a standing position an looks at Erin an grins her feet still not touching the floor.
"Sorry I couldn't stick around and help any more than I did but I'd pushed my limit and the strain put me in a power loop.

I had to get out of the city or when I lost control I'd have crashed the entire area in an uncontrolled EMP.

I was so over powered I lost my suit an must ave crashed into the water starkers.

Lucky for me the US Navy had a cruiser nearby that must have had advice from the Squints on how to handle me."

Jesse laughs softly as she pictures the navy boys reaction to finding her nude in the ocean off the coast of California.

Then she turns back to address Glitch
"Thanks for the offer of mod but the Lively Squints put a lot of work into the suit so for the moment I'd like to keep it as is. Besides it seems as if you're swamped by work and as for weapons I am a weapon.

I can hardly wait to go orbital, who knows maybe my Da will dain make himself known to me up there.

I plan on heading up tonight; I've dreamed of seeing what the Van belts look like beyond the atmosphere."

As she spoke to the Techie she caught an odd aura surrounding him which caused her to smile. Also while speaking her ability to multi task deposited all the screws, nuts, bolts, fasteners and other metallic objects that she could affect to levitate and seek their approximate bins.

"What the..." Omega let out as he saw electricity shoot out of Shiver's hand and into the television in her room. He wanted to comment on her newfound power, but he decided to focus on what Shiver was upset with. As she sat on the couch, he decided to tell his side of the story. "Listen, I'm sorry for not being so caring, it's just how I've lived for... a really long time. I used to do horrible things and was paid not to care. If I did, I probably wouldn't be here. It made me great at what I do, and it keeps my TK in check. And about the Wicked situation. Killing her, now I can get past that, buthe completely destroying her body afterward? I know she wasn't your mother in that moment, but you could have at least preserved her body for a funeral so you can at least honor the memory of the woman she once was."

Omega couldn't look at Shiver as his own words were getting to him. Sadness displayed on his face for a brief moment before he balled his fists and anger appeared. Everything in the room trembled for a moment before he spoke again.

"And if you want me to leave so badly, then kick me out! Don't you have that kind of pull?! You know what's the shittiest part about this fucking team? I actually tried to pretend to be one of you. You're just spoiled kids with no self control!" Omega shook his head as he walked out of the room headed out to go flying. I'm better off on my own!

SHIVER

Shiver was hoping for something more human and comforting from him. She had seen a glimpse of sadness when he spoke of a funeral. It felt like he was reliving a painful memory. She wiped her eyes and mumbled to herself, "of course I have that authority. I picked you to be here."

Tia grabbed her comlink and said into it. "Shiver, you are in charge. I'm taking a week off. Hold the fort ok?" Shiver heard this just as she was about to fall sleep. Frustrated now she got up and went into the office bitching the whole way. One of the overhead bulbs in the ceiling went out and she raised her hand up and moved her fingers lightly and the bolts of electricity caused the entire fixture to basically explode.

"Son of a bitch! I have to learn how to control this power before I blow the damn building up." Shiver went out back where the death had occured. She knew that her mother had no longer been in there but she still missed her mother and that would not likely change. Shiver went out to the training area so she couldn't hurt anyone by accident.

All of Shiver's pain and anger about Wicked, Tia and Michael she used to focus her power and instead of controlling it well she sat down on the grass and remembered what had happened there. She looked over to the spot where all of the blood had spilled onto the ground.

Shiver didn't mourn the woman they had been fighting. Her mother was not in there anymore. She was glad that Tia had obliterated her. It would kill Shiver to see her mother's body become a science project. Bell had texted her and told her that they were going to erect a monument to Wicked in a couple of days. Shiver began exercising her power By the time that she got the hang of it she was looking at stars in the sky. She was so tired she just decided to lay down and look up at the stars.

She thought about Michael and she hit her comlink. "Michael I need to....ooh are you okay? You seemed like something was bugging you too. And yes I have the authority but no I don't want you to go."

Omega

Most of Omega's day was spent on stopping petty crime with extreme prejudice and asking Sol questions. So far he learned a lot from the AI. She wasn't built by the Etrisians, but was being hunted by them. She wasn't sure for what, but she could only think that the Etrisians were trying to find a way to reverse engineer her to make more AI. Omega's com link picked up on Shiver's message. At first he didn't want to bother, but when he gave it some thought, he answered.

Omega knew he was complicated and not like most people. He was a soldier, a thief, and more often than not, a weapon. In a way he feels that is why he gets along with Drifter so well. He can see her detachment and difference from the others, yet unlike him, she seems to try a bit harder despite her being in such a situation her entire life.

"Don't worry about it, I'm not trying to go anywhere anytime soon. I was frustrated... and nothing is bothering me. I just... I'll tell you everything if you can meet me on the roof of HQ."

SHIVER

Shiver nodded and said, "Okay I'm om my way." Shiver watched him when he appeared. He found her on the roof laying on her back looking at the stars. "Come lay with me and tell me what is going on with you." She had put down a blanket to lay on. The rooftop was not exactly the cleanest or softest of places to lay down.

"Why did you appear sad when you spoke of a funeral for Wicked? You had only met Wicked once or twice maybe. I would hardly think that you thought much about her. You didn't know her. But I think there is someone that you did know that you lost and it still hurts." She looked at him as he hesitated on laying on the ground with her. She yanked on his wrist and oddly enough she couldn't pull down only off balance.

"What the hell happened to my strength?" He sat down next to her and she looked at him oddly. "Today has been hell all the way around. So tell me. It will probably cheer me up." She spoke with a stubborn smile.

Red Strike (Ro'Kun)

Once that Wicked business was done, Ro'kun thought it better to go around looking for something to do. He decided to train after watching some TV and just missed Shiver in the gym. He performed his kata, and then practiced. Punches and kicks flew faster than most normal humans would have thought possible. He blocked and performed grapple maneuvers, and flipped. 2 hours later he had worked up a nice sweat, and decided the cool night air would do him some good.

Red Strike made his way down the hall and outside, before using his tired legs to spring him upwards one last time for the night. Up and up he flew, before catching hold of the side of the roof and hauling himself up onto solid ground. He collapsed and looked up at the stars, breathing heavily and sweating. It took him a few moments to realize he was not alone up there. It was Shiver and some dude. Kinda too dark to see before his eyes adjusted. He didn't seem to care if he was ruining a moment. He rolled over and rested his chin on one hand casually. "Sup."

Shiver sat up and saw who it was. "Ro'kun! Why are you up here? We came up here for privacy to talk and look at the stars." She said. "Would you mind leaving us alone please? There is a nice roof over by the outdoor pool you can lay on to look at the stars."

Erin listened as Glitch described the new functions of her staff, nodding in approval. "Oh portable, on demand ice-cream would be fantastic, dude.." She said, nodding and swinging her legs through the air. She noticed as his gaze drifted between her and Jess, and she frowned slightly. The second he met her gaze, she jumped into his head, process what was going on. She pursed her lips as she saw his mental images of her and Jess half-naked with storm-trooper helmets. She glared at him, covered the chest of her V-neck shirt with her hands, and sent him a mental message to save his pride from Jess. "Don't forget that I can read minds and have a triple black belt in Ninjitsu - I'm a ninja." She said, about to remove herself from his mind. She snapped back to him and sent a final thought. "No sexy ninjas either!" She pulled out of his mind.

She looked to Jess as she spoke of the incident the night before. "Don't worry, you save dozens of people. I can't blame you for dropping like that. I could barely walk to my bike last night." She hopped off of the table and moved towards the door. "I'm gonna go work out now." She announced. She stopped, halfway, and looked back at glitch. She covered her butt with her hands and scurried out with a final glare.

Ro'Kun dragged his way down the hallway, still glistening slightly with sweat. He then saw a pretty young girl scurry out into the hallway holding her butt. He stared at her for a long moment. Not out of any lecherous designs, but he was simply tired physically and confused as all fruit at why she'd be holding her butt. "Hey" he asked aloud, muscled arms hanging at his side limply. "Why are you holding your butt?"

"Umm..." She muttered as Ro'kun spoke... She dropped her hands to her side. "Cause some people can't keep their eyes to themselves!" She said as she turned and shouted back towards Glitch's lab. She whipped back to face Ro'kun, noticing his defined arms. "Wow your arms are like- the size of my head, dude" She cupped her hands around his right bicep and measured the size of it, then moved the "hand measurement" to her head, amused by the fact that it was nearly true. "Well I'm gonna go to the training floor, you're welcome to join me." She said, walking forward and not waiting for his response - if he wanted to come, he'd follow.

He put his hands in his pockets and followed this new girl with a bounce in his step. He looked at her curiously as they walked. He didn't recall ever seeing her before. This HQ was huge though. When she and Ro'Kun walked towards the training floor, he looked at her, and she jumped into his mind. She kept on walking as to not give away her motives, but read the thoughts that flashed through his head. She frowned when she realized that he didn't remember her. "Hold on!" She said aloud, still walking. "You don't remember me? I'm Pixie!" A bewildered look in her face.

"Remember yesterday afternoon, when we fought that mob of Metahumans? I took down that 7-foot superstrength guy? I made a pun while thousands of volts of electricity ran through my body?" She prompted, maintaining the mental link and sending mental images of the battle to his brain to jog his memory.

"Oh by the way, I'm telepathic." She said, after having used her powers multiple times in the last minute.

He nearly jumped out of his socks when she spun on him, curious and youthful face full of surprise. "Oh..." he said, regaining his composure before his mind was flooded with images, his ears being filled with info too from her words. "Ooooh yeah! You were that funny girl with the cute sayings!" he said, putting his fists together in a brief 'aha!'

"I should have known, I guess it's been a weird day or so. What with all of the death and food and...stuff." When she told him she could read minds, he crossed his arms. That was something else. So she could understand him? In his head? Cute and a mind reader? That might have been why she was holding her booty. Can she hear him now? TACOS!

Omega couldn't help but chuckle at Ro'kun, the guy was a goof in his eyes. Omega did recognize the man as formidable. When Ro'kun departed, Omega focused on Shiver and took a breath as he felt that he was going to tell a long story. He didn't even know where to begin.

"A long time ago, when I was nine, I discovered my powers. As great as they are now, they were the worst thing I could have gotten then... The orphanage wasn't fond of what I could do, and with me being unable to control my telekinetic ability, things hot complicated. They had to put me out... I had to eat, so I stole. It was easy since I was stronger than most people. I was caught though and put into a detention facility with others like me." Omega sighed as he felt like he was rambling. "I made friends, we escaped, got contracted into a group and eventually I ended up here. The end." Omega said as he skipped over a great deal of the story.

He could already see Shiver not being happy about what he just did. He looked up at the stars for a moment.

"Almost all of my friends have died, either by the enemy or by becoming the enemy. Even with the latter, I honor the memories we had once shared. It's how I'd like to remember them, because I'd want them to do the same for me. So if I could give someone a funeral, I would. I wouldn't have destroyed Wicked's body after her death. You and Tia may think differently from me and I'll respect it... I just don't agree."
