Shiver looked at Michael and said softly. "I know. If it were anyone else it would be different. It was different with her though. We had no choice. It had to do with her angel side and I don't really understand it myself. Something about the molecular structure restabolizing and restarting her regeneration if left intact. There will be a monument in a couple of days Bell said. It doesn't matter though, my mother lives in here." She touched her chest where her heart would be.

Shiver was not used to getting cold and having it bother her but his body heat felt good so she snuggled up closer to him.

"So they kicked you out when you were just a child. That was cruel. How did they think you would get by? It's not as if children that age can get a job." She looked back up at the stars.

"Can I tell you a secret? The team was hand picked by the agency. What I mean is Tia picked Kain...you know how well that went. Wicked picked Doctor Evergreen and probably more. I'm not sure who Bell picked but I think it was Ro'kun."

"I picked you. Wicked didn't think you could be on the side of good, but I saw something in you. I still see it. I think you are much more than just what you can do." Shiver looked at him and smiled. "I would like you to be comfortable around me and be able to say anything to me. As your teammate I'll never stop backing you up and as your friend I'll never let you fall if I can do something to stop it."

She snuggled into him more and she pulled his arm around her. "I was literally the ice queen. Now I have electricity and I am cold and I can feel how miserable it is to be cold. I have no idea what happened to my strength. I'm starting to think that I don't know who I am anymore."

"Hm, I'll need an appropriate call sign too. My actual name is Shiver but that doesn't fit anymore." She sat up and grinned, "I got it!" She pulled the blanket over them both. Shiver was shivering. She looked at him and smiled. "What do you think about "Voltage" isn't it cool?" She chuckled and said, "I give up, I'm freezing!" She teleported them both into her room just like they were. They appeared on her bed and the temperature was perfect in her room.

"Michael? Where did you go today?"

Omega didn't know what to think when Shiver spoke to him. It was hard for him to focus as he relived his past with the brief telling of it. When she asked how the orphanage expected him to get a job, he chuckled.

"I don't think that was the point." He said with amusement. Omega didn't comment on him being picked by Shiver herself, and it helped that the subject changed quickly. "Voltage, nah it doesn't flow. How about Battery Pack." He joked before they teleported to Shiver's bed.

It was now that Omega realized how close he was getting to Shiver. It was a weird feeling seeing as barely a week ago, he and Wicked were sharing the same sleeping space. Though it was only once, it wasn't something he could simply ignore. He even went as far as wondering what Tia would think.

"Today? I actually did a lot today. Killed a giant monster, rescued anot airplane full of people, went to go see an old business associates, came back here, then went flying to blow off some steam." He looked around the room abd caught sight of a picture Wicked. "I wish I could have been here to fight her. Man that would have been perfect." He thought outloud.

Shiver looked a little confused. "Okay I understand that, sorta. She would test anyone's abilities. She was not someone that could be taken alone and she was deadly to everyone in her path. So much so that the agency asked us to take care of her when the time came or they would. As time went on there was less and less of my mother in there. I would say that the angel had been in control for over a year. We were waiting for her to reclaim her own body so to speak. When she flipped out we knew she was lost and not coming back."

Shiver became more quiet when she said this. "So if you were at some point intimate with her it's okay. She wasn't my mother because she was already gone by that time." Shiver laid her head against his chest and listened to his heart beating.

"So tell me something...Are you ever going to kiss me?" Shiver
blushed.

Jess finished up in Rey's shop then took her new suit to her room and put it away till she is better rested because she plans on making at least 250 kilometers where she hoped to see the space station.

Then once she'd put away her new toy she looked around her room where she detected the microfield of a sensor hidden in the overhead light. Normally she would have simply noted it's presence an left it alone but today for reasons that puzzled her she found it's existence annoying so she destroyed it with a controlled burst of magnetic energy.

Destroying the little spy made her feel only a little better and caused her to think beyond her training. She thought of how those she'd been teamed up with knew lives she could only imagine

It was while thinking such thoughts that she felt a wave of emotional pain and anger this caused her to blow open her window. Her Pink flight suit flew out of her closet an onto her body and she felt somehow calmed by it's ankle to throat embrace.

Then with a smile she she floated out of the window as she activated her commsband
"This is Drifter to control notifying of an unscheduled patrol" she said in a soft tone as she drifted upwards not waiting for clearance. Or caring if it were granted.

Omega raised an eyebrow at Shiver's question as he was taken aback. Did she just call me out? Omega then smirks.

"Not sure you could handle me with you losing your super strength and all." He teased before the lights turn off I'm the room and he kissed her. He would try to be delicate

"Omega... 99.9% chance you will..." Sol tried to inform.

"Shut it!" Omega demanded.

Shiver awoke later after they had played for the remainder of the evening. Shiver realized she was a little sore. She went into the bathroom and quickly realized that she had lost her virginity...again. She sighed and cleaned up and then climbed back into bed with Michael snuggling skin to skin with him. She felt his arm pull her closer to him. Shiver chuckled to herself quietly. He opened his eyes and looked at her. She smiled "I'm not changing my name to Sparkie and how funny is it that your last name is watts. "Ohh what about Sizzle?" She giggled when he covered them back up.

Visiplay / Glitch

After Glitch finished with Erin's weapon along with Jesse's suit, he got the reminder that she could read his mind, he quickly straightened his act quickly, leaving him a little embarrassed at the moment but wondered if he and Erin could take this stuff to another level....nah, he still didn't want a sexual harassment charge or to upset Evergreen if she was to find out. He sent Jesse on her way with her suit and respected her wishes to not make any modifications to it. After both ladies left, Rey needed to take a break so...he left the lab so to take a walk.

Miles woke up next to Tia while she was still in his arms. She seemed to have calmed a little and he looked around. Being that she was on vacation, he didn't bother asking her if she wanted to get involved in anything and put getting the equipment back, on hold. Seriously, a vacation sounded very nice but whether Tia needed him by his side or not, he'd leave it up to her. He got up and checked his phone, calling for his old friend to see if he'd meet with him soon, hoping he'd hear back from him.

"Tesla?" Omega said as he sat up. "I don't know what name for you to have. how about we figure out your other power first. Maybe we can base it off that." Omega suggested as he got off the bed and used his TK to cloth himself. "Hey Jessica, you here at HQ or out and about?" Omega asked over comms. He then smiled at Shiver as he used his powers once more to slip on his bracers. "You have any idea what power you may have. Maybe you can phase like Tia." He said to Shiver.

Pixie & Velocity

Erin listened to Ro'Kun's thoughts as they ran through his head, repeating them back to him mentally. She head "Tacos!" and her eyebrows shot up, and she whipped back around again. "Tacos!" She shouted back, audibly this time. Then with no further word, she turned and continued walking towards the gym. When they reached the training room, she saw Roman Jaeger, standing on a large mat in front of a wall of mirrors.

As the two walked into the gym, Roman dropped from his handstand. He was wearing black, form-fitting jogging pants, and his chiseled chest was bare. Per his usual habit, he assessed the level of threat the newcomers posed. He knew what Erin could do - but this new guy, Red Strike if his memory served him weld, looked like a formidable opponent.

"Hey there, gigantor." Erin said to Roman. "Ro'Kun, this is Roman." She said. "His powers are similar to yours, except he uses electricity instead of fire. Well, that, and he's six and a half feet tall, and you're... yeah, so shake hands." She said, nudging Ro'kun.

Roman looked quizzically at the two of them, but then silently extended a large hand. "Roman Jaeger, AKA Velocity." He said, expecting Ro'kun to show him the same courtesy.

Shiver grinned and went to grab the glass off of the table nearest her and it slipped and it broke into several pieces. She went to pick it up and she sliced her hand, or so she thought. She picked up the glass looking at it and ran it across her hand. "Ok, I just figured out what my third power is. Impenetrable skin. I can't be cut. I'm guessing that goes for bullets too. Well that should cut down on the trips to the doctor."

"I gotta get to the office. With Tia out I have to cover." Shiver gave Michael a kiss. "Will I see you later after missions?" She asked while getting dressed. She teleported to the office and her new name just hit her like a lightning bolt "Static".

Red Strike (Ro'Kun)

Ro'kun stared at Roman with his hands in his pockets for a few moments, sizing him up. But a second later, he stuck his hand out and shook the big man's hand. "Nice to meet you." he said in a friendly manner, though his face was still full of curiosity. This guy was half a foot taller than Ro'Kun, but he seemed cool enough, so far. He pointed to his face. "I'm Ro'kun. People call me Red Strike. I kinda just got done working out, but if you wanted to train a bit more with me that'd be cool. Not sure what your powers are, or hers. Other than strength, electricity, and reading minds." He then looked around the room to see what Erin was doing, before scratching his face casually. "You up for it, big dude?"

Jess looked down on the city and saw it's population of ground bound individuals scurrying around as if they were a colony of ants.

~What must it be like to feel like you belong, are part of a greater whole~ She thought as she hovered high above.

She'd been thrilled to hear that she was coming here, to be made a member of a group of beings that shared her genetic position in the ladder of evolution. She had hoped among them to find equals perhaps even find a sense of belonging but so far she had found nothing.

It was while she was thinking that she heard Omega call over Commsband
" Hey Jessica, you here at HQ or out and about?"

"Drifter to Omega presently I am above the city of Oakland please state your interest as to my location" she answers back her voice almost mechanical

"Sure." Omega said as Shiver departed. Omega then listened for Jessica who replied. "I was just seeing if you could help me improve my technique of my power. You know, add more finesse. If you're busy though, I can wait. That's if you're still up for it." Omega made his request. hehe hadn't had a conversation with Jessica in some time and she was extraordinary with her use of magnetism. Why not learn from the person with the best grasp of their abilities?

Jesse looked at the city below as Omega asked for her help in training his abilities.

She'd never thought of herself as an instructor before but she realizes that she'd also never thought she'd meet and live with other Meta. She did know though that since coming here she hadn't had much chance to practice associating with people outside of her ability to be a conflict asset.

"Understood Drifter returning to Head Quarters ETA 7.5 minutes lading pad 1B north." she answers as she turns and flies back to her new home.

Approximately 7 minutes an 21 seconds later she floats down from the sky after notifying the grunts of her approach. She seems to almost glow, her preferred Pink flight suit catching the light as she lands.

Omega smiled when Jessica said she would be at the HQ soon. Landing pad 1B north... umm He honestly didn't know where that was, but common sense told him to just go outside and wait for the flying meta to land. He ran through the halls and made his exit other the front entrance before flying up towards the roof.

"Still have time to spare, maybe too much time to spare." He said to himself as he landed on the closest landing pad he could see. He didn't bother any of the grunts outside and they didn't bother him either.

It wasn't long till he saw the pink wonder descend from the sky and onto landing pad 1B north. There she is. He thought to himself before floating over to her.

"How was your flight? I see your wearing your suit." He said as he greeted her with a smile. "You ready to teach me to be more precise? How to get me to make the thread go through the needle? How to get me to take a machine apart without breaking it? How to... never-ending, you ready?" Omega asked with a bit of excitement.

Jess saw Michael waiting for her and smiled gently as he came over but was momentarily stunned by his cascade of words.

"How was your flight? I see your wearing your suit." said the smiling meta who went by the call sign Omega before adding "You ready to teach me to be more precise? How to get me to make the thread go through the needle? How to get me to take a machine apart without breaking it? How to... never-ending, you ready?"

"I know they want me to wear the league uniform but it is ugly and doesn't suit me on a personal level. The Pink is my color and as a flyer makes me recognizable at a distance which I hope prevents friendly fire incidents but that's not why I'm here.

You seem to wish to focus of precision and I commend you for that but think that how I was trained might not be correct for you. You see my skill is based off of a sense that few if any beside myself poses.

I was forced to identify objects around me using only my spatial awareness while blindfolded since I was 11 years old."

She grins as she gives his rather broad request a thought before continuing.
"Threading a needle using your Talent with TK is an exercise you can practice on your own just remember that such a micro task will in the beginning be one of more failures that sucess.

Disassembly of machinery is simple for myself because using my spatial awareness at close range allows me to see the object of my intent as if I were viewing it from all angles at once. This means I don't require the object to be rotated or I move to see it's far side. You on the other hand need to either develop a way use your own TK as a tactile slash visual sense or rotate it but I can say the biggest hurdle is trying to make the task not one where you over think it; you just do it.

Jess Giggles realizing she's being a bad teacher and confirming her suspicion that she was never trained how to be an instructor.

"I guess I went on a rant there and should have asked you Instead to pick the first thing you'd like me to help you practice instead of going into an information overload "

Shiver walked into the office and the fax machine was out of paper and the other was jammed. There were piles of paper that had started overflowing all over the place. "All of this in the last 24 hours?" After about two hours she had gotten partway through the faxes but the voice mail was completely full too. Many of them were from TV stations wanting an interview and the video showing Wicked's demise. The media calls and faxes she sent on to the Agency. No wonder Tia took a vacation. This would have been horrific for her. Tia hadn't been there to see Wicked disappearing more and more. For her she killed her mother even though she knew it wasn't her. Shiver delved into her piles of paper. This is the kind of work she did at the agency after she found out about her glitch. She wondered about that and called up to the lab on the 5th floor.

"The comparison shows that the 'glitch' that caused your powers to disappear suddenly was fried when you electrocuted yourself. That part of your DNA was erased. So whatever your powers are now is what you will have the rest of your life."

"Thank you." Shiver said. This news took the danger out of overusing her powers but she didn't know how she felt about it. She had always been strong and icy now she had to be electrified and impenetrable.

Omega stared at Jessica blankly as she gave her explanation. He nodded every own and again to show he had interest. He even threw some "mhm"s in there, but a lot of what she was saying was being lost. He did get the general idea however.

"You kinda did rant, but I think I'm interested in using my TK in that tactile slash visual way. I also want to get better with being able to show a some forms of dexterity... I know I can do it on my one, I just sucks with the focusing part. If I could get that down, I'd be pretty good with practicing and I'd owe you big." Omega replied. He wasn't one to just say that he owed someone, he always compensated the ones who helped him.

"I can say that my talent to sense things is tied to my ability to sense magnetic fields surrounding everything which gives me an edge on this type of training.

I'm wondering can you pick something up with you eyes closed? That's how you begin, by handling things and sensing their weight a texture.

"Umm well I think. I've never really tried that to be honest." He said with as he thought hard about it. "If I already know where something is it's not too difficult. Sometimes I picture my power as if there are invisible hands doing my bidding, but I'm sure I can get more advanced with time. Hmm.... I'll close my eyes and you move somewhere. Silently. And then I'll try to lift you from the spot of your choosing. No hints." Omega said as he took a step back towards the southern edge of the landing pad and shut his eyes.

"Plus this gives you time to think about your payment. Don't make me feel bad by not letting me pay you back. Is money good? You don't seem like the type of person who cares for it."
