It is good to see you are dating someone new already and wish you luck in this attempt." says Jess with a gentle smile

She wishes she knew more details in the relationship struggle because she worries this Enyo may be a rebound lover chosen in an emotional storm who might eventually hurt Shiver and cause her to endanger herself once more.

To ensure that should this happen in the near future Jess does an active ping of Shiver's Electromagnetic signature effectively finger printing her for future recovery.

Shiver looked at Jess and smiled. "I'm not dating anyone. Enyo is, she has been invited to a fireman's benefit and she asked to bring me so I am going. What I meant was would you go shopping with us tomorrow? Not for protection but for fun and we can buy come clothes and music and stuff. You know, girl stuff."

Enyo called her. "The car is here Shiv! We gotta go!" She said straightening her dress a little.

"Gotta go! See you tomorrow! Bye Ro'kun!" Shiver hurried back and the two hurried to the front and out to the car.

"Finally." Omega said as he opened his eyes as he lay in bed. He had not only been practicing his powers, but he had been using them to pick up Shiver's patterns. As she left the HQ, he got himself out of bed and headed to the kitchen to grab a bite to eat.

Omega was trying not cause any unnecessary awkward moments or trouble, he had spent a lot of time in his room or at the gym. He walked into the kitchen to see Ro'kun plundering it. He shook his head with a smile.

"I'd love to see you and Jess compete. We'd probably be out of food by the end though." He chuckled at Ro'kun before looking to Jessica. His smile faded, but he waved. He then went and grabbed two pre-made sandwiches from the fridge. "You know if we have popcorn. A movie night could be nice." He said aloud.

With his two sandwiches in his hands, he jumped up and floated onto one of the empty couches in the lounge. He looked at Jessica skepticism, but was only joking.

"You say you did all this, but I don't think you have much proof. I do see you about to make slight work out if at least two farms worth of food." He chuckled as he grabbed the remote. "Hey Ro'kun, where's the popcorn?" He played at being bossy. He flipped threw some channels until he hit HBO where Tropic Thunder was being shown. "Nothing like a great film on teamwork."

Heading into the slums where the lowest of the low hail from, Tito lead the way to a known bar where the Super Goon Squad chill at, the 4th street Trap Bar. So this is the place? Miles asked while Tito turned Yeah...just follow my lead and don't talk. I'll ask the questions. Just stand there and look pretty... Miles looked at him and silently agreed as they walked into the place.

The smell of booze, cigarettes, weed, musk, and ass. The place looked shady and where the lowlifes come to scheme and plot for there next hit or high. The people in the place, including the prostitutes were looking over at the two new guys who walked in as they walked to the bar along with the prostitutes who were wanting to present themselves to these strapping young meta humans.

Before the woman could approach, Tito turned bitch, please....go fuck with someone else...I ain't in the mood to smell your fish factory. As the females gave a smug look and left. The bartender walked over "Yeah...the fuck you boys want?" Miles and Tito looked at each other and Tito turned back around. He was asking about the leader in which he lied to him about wanting to make a deal with him but someone noticed who Tito was.

When Tito and Miles were figured out, one of the goon squad members who had powers, started the fight his his enlarged feet trying to kick and stomp the two to the ground. With other normal human members joining the fight, Miles and Tito quickly made work of them with Tito's animal shifting ability and Miles' eyebeam. The leader was trying to escape out the back when Tito caught up to him thanks to Miles assistance with his x-ray vision.

"Look man, I don't know shit!" Miles smirked You know....usually when someone says that, they do know something....tell us or I'll have Tito here turn into an elephant to crush you. Who do you work for? I know there have been heavy hitting meta humans and powerful groups out there but for a group like you to get these bigger jobs....you could never pull them off alone....it's not your style.... the man didn't speak as Miles nodded to Tito as he turned into a bull causing pain. Then, that of a rhino which the man's ribs were cracking "okay okay!....There's a man....a man named The Giver....big time dude...he knows and runs with the big time people...he knows almost all the dangerous meta humans...he have drugs he makes from his own power that he gives to his men and it gives them temporary powers....look...don't tell him I told you...but he's the one that have more answers..."

Miles looked at Tito Where is he located? "I don't know man...he's the one that contacts me...." Tito got up, knocking the man out as he walked with Miles. Tito...I may need to meet back up with you. can you see what you can find out on the streets about this Giver dude and I'll see if I can get more info back at the base? It took Jessica only moments to defend her statement
"Today I ascended to an altitude of 335 kilometers in an effort to return to my point of conception and to knock number one off my bucket list.

While observing the earth and it's magnetic fields I became aware of an even more powerful magnetic force that I could tap coming from the sun. A test of that power revealed that while in the primary envelope of the Van Allen belts I have difficulty exceeding the speed of sound I was not so restricted in the vacuum of space.

Realizing there was an addendum to my number one slot and that was visiting the ISS and it was in my power to do so I got a navigational fix then proceeded to accelerate to a speed of eight point five kilometers a second; or 30,000 kph which ever you'd like.

I was then contacted by Ground Control Melbourne and vectors in as well as told that my unscheduled visit was welcomed. Once aboard the station I met the current mission commander Naval Captain Rachel Cole US Navy. She informed me that they had a medical emergency involving the station doctor that was beyond their ability to respond to.

I was asked by the Commander could I serve as an emergency transport and see the doctor to earth and proper care within a two to six hour window.

My answer was yes and my proof now lays in med bay resting after seeing doctor Evergreen"

Tia

Tia's eyes started to cross so she closed her eyes and massaged her temples. She needed to get up and go do something fun. She hadn't heard from Miles. She knew he was off with an old buddy doing something she thought about the missing R&D. It was after 8pm by this time and Bell called her to tell her that Wicked's memorial had taken longer but it was being set up outside as they spoke. They chatted for a little bit. She got her caught up on the day's events. Bell laughed. "I remember those days, it was 2 decades of my life like that."

Tia hung up the phone a few minutes later and went outside to look at the monument. What she saw was a 15 foot statue of Wicked Flame in action. At first she was a little overwhelmed seeing the woman Wicked had been before she lost her battle with the angel. Tia thought that the placement of the statue was perfect. The memorial plaque at the bottom said, "Wicked Flame, the founder of the Meta Agency. Loved by some, hated by many and respected by ALL."

Enyo and Shiver

The limo pulled up in front of the restaurant and the ladies were met by their handsome dates for the evening. Enyo was pretty good in social situations due to living on the mountain where manners were a must. Shiver was always comfortable in social situations. Once ushered inside the gala the girls were openly stared at. Everyone wanted to see and meet the meta's. Most of the ladies were very friendly but there were also those that were jealous and catty.

Most of the gentlemen there knew Enyo from the rescue the other day. Others knew Shiver from the building collapse. Introductions were made and drinks were handed out. Shiver and Enyo were having a blast dancing until the lights went out. Several people screamed as they were suddenly off balance or tripped into or over someone or thing. Shiver walked to the middle of the room and began to glow softly at first and then brighter so people could see. Most people didn't know what to do so Shiver asked them "Could you please return to your seats until the situation is resolved." Shiver saw the staff bringing in candles.

She also saw something she was unsure of. "Enyo did you see that?" "What?" "Over there. Is there a toddler in here?" "I highly doubt it."

The person in charge of the evening's festivities got up and said a few things and apologized for the lights and honored Shiver for the helping out and then he shrieked in pain and grabbed his lower leg as he fell onto the ground.

Shiver saw him dart back into the crowd in the dark. Ladies screamed as they thought there was an animal by their feet. Shiver teleported out and grabbed Tia from her office. When she returned to the party there were screams everywhere. "Freeze the room."

Tia froze the room and Shiver went over to the corner where the screams had been emmulating from. "I KNEW IT!" She grabbed up an insidious looking evil Chucky doll. It was holding a small knife. The room unfroze and people saw Shiver holding the doll and started to scream. "Ready Tia?" She tossed the doll into the air and Tia blew it up.

The three metas left the room and went in search for more of the animated creatures.

Omega smirked and watched Jessica explain everything to him in detail. In the end he nodded in defeat, yet he kept his smirk up.

"We'll I guess I have to believe you... at least this time." He said with a snicker as he kept kidding around. With things feeling almost back to normal, Omega's smile faded. The letter Jessica had wrote came to mind. "By the way, I'm sorry for all that happened earlier today. I was just trying to help and it turned into a mess. We still friends?" He asked as he reached his fist out to her for a pound. It was then that he realized that Jessica might not understand what he's doing. "Just punch my fist if we're friends. Lightly! It's like a better version of a handshake." He explained.

Sigma was out in the hot tub in her red and black two piece bikini. She was trying to enjoy as much as there was to in the HQ. Next she'd eat, watch some television, go workout and then probably end right back in the hot tub. At some point she wanted to speak to Tia. She really wanted to just clear the air so she would be able to walk around without a target on her head.

"Good!" Omega said as he sat back and got more comfortable on the couch he was on. He felt good he got rid of some of the awkwardness on his end. Judging by Jessica's response, he felt that she wasn't really bothered by it. "So when are you going to space again? And are you gonna find your dad?" He asked before biting into one of his sandwiches. He was glad she was hitting the big things on her bucket list, and he was interested in what she was going for next.

Jesse weighed her answer for brevity on the question of her father for it was a complicated question. She'd looked into it when permitted even going so far as to try when she'd runaway to contact the others who'd been on the mission with her mum but had no luck with the two that she managed to chat with because they simply told her it was classified.

"i don't believe I may find my father up there but hope that if that is a place he knows he will find me.

In my mum's journal she says nothing that even hinted to an affair and as the findings show it my father's genetics are from over 3,000 years ago Greece, hell my dad may be an olympian.

I think as my birthday is in two months that once I am considered a legal adult I will focus on freedom. I want to achieve it with question of it being able to used it against me."

Roman arrived at the restaurant just in time to see Shiver and Tia explode a creepy doll in the air. He ran to them and skidded to a windy halt, a whirl of air blowing over a table behind him. Fully clothed in his mask and coat, he looked to Tia. "My friend is a firefighter, he called me and told me what happened. What are we looking for?"

He quickly looked down to the floor, frowning at the charred remains of the exploded doll.

Doctor

Amelia vaulted the wall at a point where there were no guards then sprinted some distance to cover. Then she lay in wait for a few minutes to see if her exit had been noticed by the dam electronics which they had and as she expected the guards swept inwardly instead of out.

Like most castle guardians the guards were more focused on repelling and preventing intruding enemy than containing those already inside. The security sweep soon moved back into their familiar positions and increased they watch against invaders.

Grinning the redheaded Doctor slipped away into the darkness after changing into the type of clothing one might expect a woman exercising to keep trim. Few might show any curiosity that this night jogger wore a old battered olive drab pack focusing instead of her stunning beauty.

Evergreen kept up a pace that would have only been matched by an Olympic 1,000 meter runner and she maintained her's for nearly 8 kilometers and had hit the business section of town.

There she found a place to change into a provocative skin hugging little black dress with 3 inch heels. Then she stepped back onto the sidewalk that ran before the various shops and offices where she used the reflective surface of a lawyer's office window as a mirror to brush out her hair and fix her minimal make-up.

She'd come to town to do some good for those that had no hope, who were forgotten and crushed under foot. She was looking for a free clinic that took volunteers which she'd read about in the area where gentrification had yet to push out the poor.

Corporal Higgins was watching a road that lead away from the League Head Quarters when he was privy to the most marvelous sight he'd ever beheld as the Meta known as Evergreen jogged past.

He used his burner phone to alert the watch commander that he was following th lovely redhead an told to maintain his distance less she spot him and slip away

He was astounded by the pace she set following her on a motorcycle about 150 meters back as he waited for the team to surround her with no less than 12 agents in 8 vehicles. Some driving ahead of her while others followed. And the rest paralleled her on side roads.

Omega walked in as Ro'Kun was collecting all his food, and he grabbed the popcorn like his dude bro friend said and carried it along with the rest of the food into the lounge. He plopped down with his friends and decided to chow down. Tropic thunder popped on. Nice. "COVER ME YA LIMP DICK FUCK UP" he said, imitating RDJ's incredible acting performance at the offset of the film.

Visi-Play / Glitch

Miles returned to the HQ so to visit Glitch once more to get info on "The Giver" and see what kind of lead he could get. Tito of coarse was taking another approach from the streets to get more insight on who works with him or for him besides the Super Goon Squad.

Whoever this guy was, he sounded like a pain in the ass, not knowing if he was the one who initiated the infiltration to steal the R&D items and projects.

It's been some time since Miles spoke to Tia but he didn't want to get her involved unless he had no other choice to do so. Walking through the halls, he headed to Glitch's lab where the young tech genius sat at, enjoying his smoothie. Looking over Oh it's you again huh? found what you're looking for? He said Sort of...but...I need to use your main computer to look up the Meta human Database. There's someone I need to find out about. Like who?

Miles was hesitant to tell him, not wanting to worry the guy nor get him involved but he needed to get access to Glitch's computer. Listen...don't tell Tia or Shiver about this...but I'm looking for a big time underground Meta human....names The Giver...he may lead us to something. Glitch watched the expression on Miles' face and remembered that's how he looked when wanting to get revenge on the people who infiltrated and stolen Glitch's things Does he have something to do with that infiltration?

I don't know....that's why I need access. Nodding and letting him into the highly secured and restricted area, Glitch led Miles to the super computer to and put in the pass code to allow Miles to use it. Putting in the name: The Giver, a file pulled up where his real name was present and the abilities he had but it didn't go any further than that because of the limited and not totally legit and deeper information could be found on this guy but they did indeed get the face of the man.

"Well Velocity, I'm not quite sure what to tell you? Look for anything animated that shouldn't be. Apparently the Enchantress likes to play a lot of games." Tia said more awake now than at the HQ. Upon opening the doors into the gala there was a hallway to the right, left and straight ahead. Each of the girls took a different path leaving Velocity to choose one to follow.

Enyo grinned and took off her heels. She carried them in her hand. She didn't want to ruin $250 shoes running after some doll or toy. It was at this point that she looked up and saw what looked like a Decepticon changing shape into a mini cooper and a dirt bike that began to chase her back down the hall."TIA!"

Tia had gone down another hallway and she heard Enyo hollar. She hurried back and saw Enyo carrying her shoes and Decepticons chasing her. "Why are you running from them so slowly?" "No shoes on, I don't want to tear my hose! I can't mind blast things without a mind." "No, but couldn't you just hit it? You have strength." Enyo stopped and turned around and punched the bike first and the mini cooper second. She looked at Tia and said, "Oh shutup." Tia chuckled and wondered how the others were doing.
