Roman Jaeger - AKA Velocity

Roman nodded as the girls dispersed around the building. Roman took a lone corridor, only to be confronted by an animated stuffed giraffe. He frowned, his eyebrows creasing under his black helmet. Who the hell is this enchantress? With a flick of his wrist he sent several hundred volts of lightning into the giraffe and it exploded with flaming stuffing all over the halls.

He turned and ran back to the man ball room. The moment he rounded the corner into the gala, he was given just a glimpse of an animated Greco-statue of a muscular man. The stone man's fist collided with him, sending him through the skylight in the ceiling. He fell through the air and landed on the pavement outside of the building. He sat up with a groan, dodging fleeing civilians. He cracked his neck with a loud pop as the large statue stepped into the entrance of the restaurant.

He crouched down and bent into a runner's position. His hand began to glow as an orb of electricity. He broke off with a loud boom, and his fist hit he statue so hard that it punched a fist-sized hole through the stone. The statue crumbled around his arm, and he ran back into the hallways, just in time to see Enyo nail a mini-cooper and a dirt bike. He stepped in front of the girls and sent a massive surge of electricity and exploded the vehicles' circuits. Roman looked to Tia and Enyo. "I see that this Enchantress woman thinks she's got a sense of humor." He observed, the annoyance clear in his voice.

Dr. Amelia Evergreen

Amelia thought it was amusing that urban tracking teams hadn't altered their methods since the mid 60s just drove newer cars. She allowed them to tail her till she arrived at a restaurant that she recognized from a Google search she'd done.

She walked in and through the dinning room straight into the kitchen and out the back door where she thought she'd have to scale a fence into a drainage canal but found a hole in the fence which she ducked through.

It was one of the concrete types that barely held a trickle most days but contained a flood during hard rains.

She could have walked down the bottom but would have been spotted by an observant tracker so instead ducked into one of the many drainage tunnels that fed into it.

She halted just inside and pulled out a pair of dark navy blue sweat pants, shirt and her jogging shoes from her pack.

Shiver

Shiver was going down another hallway and she heard a voice she would never forget. Her head snapped up and she was staring at the animated statue of her mother that had been erected earlier tonight. Since she had no idea that it had arrived. The tears welled up in her eyes and she didn't expect the statue to have powers, but it did, it could shoot fireballs. She found out because it shot one and it hit the drapes in the room. She grabbed the statue and teleported it back to the base as the drapes caught fire. Luckily, the fire department was in the building already. Shiver shot lightening into the statue and it exploded sending chunks of concrete everywhere.

She teleported back and told Tia about the statue. The look on her face was slightly shocked and a little concerned. "The Enchantress had to be at the HQ to animate the statue."

Shiver nodded, "That's what I was thinking so let's go." Tia asked Velocity and Enyo to stay there and take care of anything else that might be needed. Shiver grabbed her arm and they teleported back to the HQ.

Red Strike (Ro'Kun)

"A name?" he echoed aloud, and pursed his lips as he thought. He crossed his muscled arms, crossing his legs too on the couch. "Well I was called Red Strike by a few school kids and it kinda stuck. I'd think that someone not in the team would need to name us, probably. I mean we could try something like my old soccer team, the Flaming Wombats..." he let it hang in the air for a second, then shook his head. "No, that'd be stupid."

He fell back on the couch cushion, hands behind his head. "Not sure. We can ask around and see if anyone has thought of somethin-." Halfway through his sentence, he saw something pass the door at the corner of his eyes. He'd recognize what he saw anywhere. A hot woman. Wait what? That wasn't Tia or Shiver... "Hey, did you guys just see a woman walk past the door?" Ro'Kun stood up, trying to describe her. "She had a lovely..." he patted his butt. "sense of humor and a huge..." he put his hands in front of his chest like he was holding breasts "...personality."

Jess sensed something wrong around her and suddenly was airborne her wire toy humming with the amount of power she put into it. Then as she floated above the couch she reached out her power till she gripped the signature of her pink battle suit and the door to her room.

It took moments for the neon pink, suit to fly into the room and rush it's mistress to clad her in it's familiar embrace.

"This is Drifter, this is Drifter declaring a potential intruder alert." she says on her Commsband before looking at Ro'kun an Omega

"I tire of these intrusions that seem bent to disturb any chance I have at normality and swear that whomever has perpetrated this event shall regret their actions.

I will now apologize for any damage that any personal electronics suffer as collateral damage." snarls Jess just before her eyes crackle with Saint Elmo's fire.

Her second wire joins her first an the two quickly knit themselves into a tight but complicated sensor antenna which glows with the same intensity as her eyes.

Cheap electronics begin to smolder as a localized but staggering Electromagnetic field sweeps the room and halls around her

Omega looked to Jessica and then to Ro'kun as they seemed more prepared for a fight than he was. He smirked at Ro'kun's description of the intruder.

"Hey R&D, we have an intruder... again." Omega said over comms. Alright, let's get this bi- I mean this down to earth woman." Omega corrected himself with a chuckle as he let Jessica lead the way. "By the way Jess, you better hope you didn't break the TV."

Miles was finish with looking up the profile of "The Giver and was about to contact Tito to see what he's found until hearing there was a potential intruder alert on his comlink I don't have time to deal with that...I need to find this dude and contact Tia. Glitch could hear the potential intruder alert when he smirked Just what I want....it's going to be fun trying to control my drones and take a shit at the same time. he said to himself while sitting on the toilet. He closed his eyes and sounded his systems to release 10 flying drones to search the building. Armed with repulsor rays and machine gun ammo and seek n destroy missiles, Glitch sent them out. He spoke up Guys I'm having my drones assist you in searching for any threats that's around the building.

Shiver

"Come out, come out wherever you are!" Shiver said as she wandered her way around the HQ. Keeping her eyes open she took her time knowing it could be anything. "What are you up to now?" "Tia? Anything?"

Tia was heading around the medical and the garage buildings. She was hearing something strange from the garage. "There is something going on in the garage." Shiver teleported to her and they stayed close. Tia put a finger to her lips and Shiver nodded.

They had gotten near enough to the entrance and they both stopped and started running away from the garage as the door splintered and blew outwards. When Shiver stopped she turned and looked at the giant Decepticon coming out of it. "You bitch! I still have to pay on that car!" Tia was calculating the possible strength of the cars. She hit the alarm on the HQ through her comlink. The building alarm sounded loud enough to wake the city 25 miles away. "Everyone outside now!" More decepticons started to emerge out of the garage and nearby parked cars.

Enyo

MEANWHILE Enyo and Velocity were dealing with their own problems. The fireman's benefit had called it a night so they had all left. Minutes afterwards screaming could be heard and Enyo went to check it out. "Uh oh" she said as she glanced at Velocity. "And me without my swords." She swore to herself.

The bridge was moving and flipping cars and trucks into the water below. "Tia Velocity and I are handling the bridge. You guys are on your own for now."

Tia ran up the stairs to the museum and phased right through and went into the secured area and blasted a ninja who was trying to cut into the glass casing the large pink diamond was in. There were nearly a hundred of them. Tia phased and sat down holding the diamond. She called the police from her comlink, froze the room and waited. The police apprehended the criminals and called the museum's director to come down to the station to verify his identity.

Stainless steel flatware rattles in the kitchen then takes flight an surrounds Jesse in a glittering pattern of orbits. Which she disperses around her and her comrades bobbing around an spreading out seeking to make contact with anything hidden or invisible. Then once the room and nearby halls are cleared Drifter floats out of the lounge and begins her search of the building.

She is annoyed and for reasons she can't explain exhilarated as she looks for trouble. She has become her true self as she makes contact with some strange joke of an attack in the form of a concrete frog animated from the garden fountain. The stainless steel Storm surrounding her attack the pit bill sized casting in midattack.

Sparks fly accompanied by the sound of ringing metal to be quickly followed by grit an gravel shed by the briefly held form of the attacking frog.

"I tire of this constant barrage of attacks and on my word I will find and will punish you Enchantress.

You are nothing before the power I have beheld in the heart of the earth" she says giving voice to her emotions.

The air fills with oxide dust and bits of fine shards of steel caused by the frog's destruction making Jess appear blurred or fuzzy.

That's when she heard the alert and dove out of a nearby window.

As she came to a hover above the ground Jess saws what looked like cars twisted into the shape of large humanoids. Her power lashed out and sought the joints of these metal men and began ripping their legs from them rendering these ersatz giants crippled and forced to drag themselves by their arms which she broke smashing them with their former limbs.

Once one was immobilized she turn the bulk of it's body into a wrecking ball which she turned into a magnet that once it struck it's target weighed it down.

"Omega"

Omega chuckled as he watched the animated Transformers get utterly wrecked by Jessica. If this is all the Enchantress is capable of, then I guess when we find her, she's going to be easy pickings.

"Are there anymore?" Omega asked as he looked around.

"Nope!" Sigma said as she appeared holding the head of a mannequin in her hand. She had been ambushed in the pool area, so she still had her bikini on. Omega raised an eyebrow and shrugged as he was fine with being able to preserve his energy.

"You really need to stop popping in like that." Omega suggested as he made his way back to the lounge. As he walked down the hall, Sigma appeared in front of him, which made him push her to the ground with his TK. "Told you." He said as he walked over her.

"Fuck you." Sigma grumbled as she got up. She thought about giving him a taste of his own medicine, but she had better things to do. Sigma teleported to her room to change before teleporting to the garage to see if the
damage Jessica had dealt included her blue BMW. When she saw that it was unscathed, she drove the vehicle out. A girl needs to drive sometimes.

Shiver

Shiver grinned as Jess did her thing and she watched her. "It looks like you got this Jess." Shiver yawned she was tired and really glad that Jess could handle this on her own for the most part.

It had been a long and emotionally draining day. All she wanted to do was go to her own bed and sleep. She was too tired to teleport so she walked inside the HQ and lay down on the couch in the front hallway. Her eyes were closed and she was asleep before she hit the pillowy arm of the couch.

Enyo

After Enyo and Velocity dealt with the chaos that the animated bridge caused it was the middle of the night when they came trudging into the HQ. She glanced at Shiver on the couch and shook her head. Enyo still looking like the demi-godess that she was had held herself together. She had lost a heel on one of her shoes so she was upset about that. Otherwise she was fine. She looked at Velocity and smiled. "You did okay tonight Vel. You ALMOST caught up to me." She said tapping him in the arm playfully. "G'night or morning, see ya later." She said as she went into her room.

Tia

Tia had stayed phased with the Pink Star Diamond until they could prove who was supposed to have it. Only at that time did she give it up. She certainly didn't want anyone to send her the bill for the 83 million dollars that it was worth. The director did ask her if she would be interested in transporting it to it's new home. Tia looked at the director and said, "You would be better off having Shiver teleport it there. If you like I could go with her and your gem would be safe in multiple ways." He nodded happily and Tia left the diamond in his care and she went back to the HQ.

Tia walked back into her office, looked at the time lay her head on the desk and fell asleep atop her paper mountains.

Shortly after finishing off the transformers Jesse creates a ball of magnetized steel and rolls it around the former combat area till it gets too heavy for her to move and parks it in an area for easy retrieval. It takes about nine such balls before she feels she's got all the material her power can manipulate parked and waiting removal to a scrap yard.

She then waves to the guards before she flies off towards the building then into her room were she strips to her black spandex shorts an tank top and heads into the shower. Once she's clean Jesse heads to bed in her silk boxers and a T-shirt to catch some rest.

Red Strike (Ro'Kun)

Ro'Kun had made it outside and pwned some of the metal men as well. He kicked one made of shattered vehicles, ripping through its center and watched it toppled. "Well I hope they have insurance." he said with a grin, then turned around and marveled at Jess tear them a new asshole. "Jeez, girl. Reminds me not to get on your bad side...if I am ever made of metal."

He cleared his throat and looked around. She seemed top have had it handled so far. He wondered where everyone else was. Ro'Kun made his way inside, and poked his head in the lounge. Sleeping soundly was Shiver, miss kick ass herself. He smiled, then realized that she really needed a bed to sleep on. He picked her up gently, and held her over his shoulder, and decided to take her to see Tia and ask where Shiver's room was so he could put her there. He walked in and found Tia sleeping on her desk. "Well that's not gonna do." he said, and picked Tia up, putting her on his other shoulder. "Come on HQ princess..." he sighed. He was such a romantic. When Tia and Shiver would wake up, they'd find themselves in Ro'Kun's bed, Red Strike himself having slept in the lounge instead.

"Omega"

He should have gone to sleep, but Omega decided against it. He decided on spending his time back in the lounge. Omega continued to watch television, but dozed off and on until he fell asleep sitting on the sofa chair. The television was left on playing Carrie.

The next morning, Omega woke up as uncomfortable as he could be.

"Fuck." He let out as he stood up off the the sofa. His eyes focused on the kitchen. "Let's make some breakfast." He said to himself as he walked in. Utensils, pans, and food flew around him as he prepared something to eat.

This was a rare side of the Meta that he liked to keep to himself, but he missed being able to prepare a real homemade meal. Eggs, bacon, grits, and pancakes were swiftly spun up and prepared and in no time, Omega finished with a plate full each of eggs, bacon, and pancakes with big bowl of grits.

"Breakfast, a lounge, and some bad TV! Now this day is destined for greatness." He said to himself as he was referring to how bad the previous day had been.

Shiver, Tia and Enyo

Shiver awoke first. It took her a minute but she realized where she was. She grinned knowing that meant Ro'kun had carried her to bed from the couch in the front room. She started to stretch and Tia started to wake up also. When she looked at Shiver she seemed puzzled.

"We are in Ro'kun's room. Obviously he couldn't figure out how to get us into our own rooms." Shiver got up and poked her head around the corner of the door and saw Ro'kun sleeping on the couch talking in his sleep about Chimichangas. Shiver grinned and walked to him and teleported them back into his room so he could be in his own bed. Tia was already up and covered him up smiling at what a gentleman he was.

Shiver teleported both girls to their rooms. Shiver had to unpack half of her stuff since she had decided not to move everything into Ro'kun's rooms. Shiver remembered today she and Enyo were taking Jess to the mall. She hurried through her shower after she was dressed she ported to the office to find Jess' room number and went to her door and knocked. "Hey Jess! Let's eat some breakfast. We have a trip to the mall today!"

Enyo was up early but she felt like she had barely slept. She was getting her ass kicked by a holographic simulation. She walked into the kitchen as Omega was finishing making breakfast and she heard her stomach growl audibly. "Is there anything left? I'm starving." As he walked out she grabbed a plate and filled it with what was left. She went into the lounge and sat in the la z boy chair. It was so comfortable and she ate fast so she wouldn't fall asleep before she ate. Her plate was empty and she mumbled. "Thanks Omega that was good." She yawned and turned on her side in the chair and fell asleep.

Tia ended up showered, changed and back in the office to try and unbury herself. She was truly sick of paperwork. She had called Bell about the statue of Wicked and a new one was ordered. Bell asked her if she was taking the position as head of the agency or not. "I'm still considering it but I haven't made up my mind yet." Tia said honestly.

When Shiver teleported into Jesse's room there was a sound of buzzing to be heard which came from about 200 machine bearings she'd collected from the wrecker autos which the slender brunette decided to keep for use as projectile weapons. They calmed almost immediately as Jess made the leap from counter-intrusion to curiosity mode.

She was going to a mall with friends and if she'd been more frivolous in her mode of thought she'd have been excited but events of late had taught her that for her and the others here there was no peace just an uneasy ceasefire.

She knew her flight suit was likely unacceptable attire so she dressed in a pair of hand-me-down jeans and a black SAS T-shirt given to her by an officer that had been transfered out due to emotional attachment.

She then put on a hip pouch to contain her wires, about thirty ball bearings and 7 Oz. of metal dust to permeate cloth objects should she need, all in all the pouch contained nearly a kilo of steel. Her shoes were a pair of issue brown boots common in the British military.

She was grunge without even trying when she popped into the lounge to eat her breakfast. Her hair was pulled tight into a pony tail held by a meter long length of 16 gage stainless steel wire. She as always wore no make up because even if she had any it was not with in her training to apply. No the closest she had to such feline face paint was a cammo kit.

Tia looked up at Miles and smiled. "I'm okay. What do you need?" She got up from her desk. "I haven't seen you much lately. Are you making any headway?" Tia wrapped her arms around his waist and gave him a hug.

Tia noticed how tired he looked and she knew the feeling. "It's been a madhouse around here lately. And if that wasn't enough the Museum's director wants Shiver and I for a 83 million dollar gem's transport which will take all of 2 minutes. Shiver has been a little off since Wicked, and I am too. That damned Enchantress is making us all a little batty. Enyo is normal thank the gods! I think I'm going to hire a secretary I'm so sick of this paperwork and there is so much all the time."

With a smirk he answered Tia Well two things...I'm checking on you and I do have a lead which I needed to talk to you about. I've been running around a bit trying to look for clues on the bastards who took the R&D stuff. Miles explained.

Hearing out everything that's happened with her so far, Miles embraced Tia Damn...from all that you've told me, I don't know if I should get you involved in anything else. But....would it be possible to pull you from your post for the time being. I may need your help. I found out about a man who could have connections with Enchantress and may know exactly who took it and where they're located. My friend is in the streets as we speak trying to get leads as well. I'm waiting on his call.

Miles went for a kiss to Tia's lips. Mind joining us for a while? The man we are after is names "The Giver" real name, Rudolph Glover. A meta human who can bestow power and enhance ones abilities. I hear he creates drugs that's based on his powers. He have many connections and he could get us closer to our stolen goods.

Ro'Kun woke up in his bed, stretching. "Babe that was amazing last ni-..." he said, then realized not only was his dream not real, but he wasn't on the couch anymore. He shot up, the covers falling to his lap as he held himself up by his hands. "...fricken witch." he said (though jokingly), knowing Shiver had teleported him there. He smiled at how she cared, tore the covers off and flipped out of bed. "Welp, time to get some food."

He showered quickly and got dressed, before making his way into the kitchen to see Jess in their looking all cute and grunge. "Hell yeah, Nirvana for the win." he said, putting up his hand, pointer and pinky finger out and his tongue sticking out as well. Hell, with Ro'kun's long and thick black hair, if he disheveled it some more it'd be a great rock hairdo.
