@king taiThe moment when Shiver turned to speak to him, Donovan studied her face for a moment, her facial features matched her to the T and that voice of hers surely was the same. When asking if they knew each other and mentioned an accident she was in, Donovan hesitated to speak for a moment
"Damn....I thought there was nothing left of you....from what I heard, you were gone....but...I see......you lost your memory huh......" he walked over towards her, thinking about how he could try and make her remember. The bathing suit she was wearing, it was very attractive, showing off her figure and skin that he wanted to touch before. He walked up to her in silence and in a swift motion, placed his arm around her back to pull her closer and pressed his lips upon hers, holding it there for a moment, massaging hers with his own before pulling back. During that kiss, his empathy identified her and he for sure found the woman he thought, would have been dead.
"Yeah...it's you alright....you still don't remember, babes?"Sunny felt a crazy attraction to this man but her memories were gone. She looked at him and she blushed from the kiss and when her breathing returned to normal she said
"I'm sorry but I don't remember you. Who are you and who do you think I am?"He gave a sigh but saw how she blushed
"Fucking-A.....still doesn't ring any bells? It's me, Donovan....Kage-Freak...come on, Love you gotta remember. You're Shiver....and I don't think, I know you are. You have ice powers don't you....unless you forgot you had powers too but...no....some fucks said that you were using your powers not long ago when they saw you." he said
"I think if I would've gave you some dick back then, you may have been able to remember easier..." He shrugged.
Sunny's heart was racing. She couldn't be this Shiver person. That was just not possible.
"I'm sorry you have me confused with someone else. I've never used any powers in front of anyone and I don't know who you are but I can't be this Shiver person." She looked up at her boss and back at Donovan and she ran towards her tiny apartment and went inside.
"Oh my Gods what am I going to do? I can't be her!""Tch, the fuck if I have you confused. It's you, I know it's you. And by how you responded about the powers, you know I'm telling the truth about your ice." he said smirking as she rushed off and crossed his arms, looking over at her boss. With another sigh and making sort of a frown, he followed where she ran off to only to appear at her apartment door on the outside and knocked
"Babes....how else are you going to know if you don't let me try and prove it to you. I know this shit don't make any sense right now and hell...I'm still trying to make sense of it being that I'm the only one who have found you so far. I'm sure that bitch Enyo, the new cunt Kyle, the sugar tits Eden, and the rest of the lame fucks back at Conspiracy would be happy to see you again. Shit....the last thing you told me before we parted was to make sure I become stronger. I'm here...in a better condition now and you don't even recognize me....makes me feel I wasted my damn time trying to please you and shit." he said.
"Enyo? That name feels familiar but I don't remember anything. You make it sound like it's my fault that I don't remember you. Don't you get it? I was in an accident. I was in the hospital and the doctor said I may never get my memories back. If I don't remember you it's not my fault." Sunny was shaking a little from the stress.
"Do I have a family? parents, spouse kids? Do I have anyone? If I do where are they and why haven't they found me if I am this Shiver? Her explosion happened like two thousand miles from here. How would she...me..I have gotten way out here? The only power that I know of is the ice and I found that out by accident."Donovan could feel her confusion in her heart and silently felt sympathy towards her struggle. He was hiding the sympathy behind his focused expression.
"No...I'm not blaming you for you not remembering. I do want to find the asshole responsible for causing that explosion." he responded.
"Of course...you probably don't remember the explosion either. You do have family. Your mother and father....Kronus and Wicked. Your mum was the one who sent me the letter about you dying. And....it tore me up inside. You don't have kids...nor a spouse. You do have a sister....um...Cambra....Camble...Cambria...if I remember her name right. She's married to the eye-spy guy...and is pregnant." he mentioned wondering if she could feel anything from what he said about her family.
"Now...I have no fucking clue how you got here...maybe you subconsciously teleported here...oh yeah thats your other ability. But you obviously survived and you're super strong too." he mentioned
"Ah!" he went to pull out a photo of her that he stolen out of Shiver's room from conspiracy before he left but she didn't know that he took it, which had her along with Enyo and Cambria on it and looked at it for a moment
"I have a pic of you, that you gave me...it has you Enyo and Cambria on it." he said.
Sunny looked at the picture and tried really hard to remember. Her head was hurting and she couldn't remember anything. Tears formed and she couldn't recognize the women in the picture with her.
"HOW can I Not remember? How is that even possible? I feel like everything has been stolen from me and I've no way to get it back." She sat down on the front step of her apartment looking at the ocean.
"I'm sorry, I don't remember anything. The doctor said IF I got my memory back he would be surprised." Running her hands through her hair like always when stressed she said
"Are you and I a couple? Who am I close to?" Tears glistened on her eyelashes as the sun was going down.
"I feel very close to you, like there is something there but then everything is blank."Watching her and feeling her sadness, Donovan for a moment was trying to figure how to comfort her from her feeling. His stern look softened a little
"Alright babes, just calm yourself. I know this is a lot of shit to take in all at once...." he said.
Taking a seat with her he looked out at the ocean as well and sighed once more as to figure what they should do.
"Hm....a surprise if you got your memories back...maybe I should see if the old bitch Zen and the bald bastard, Gong can help with that...even though he can erase memories...wonder if he can bring them back too?" he said but then looked over when she asked about them. He chuckled "
Eh...sorta...it's complicated...you're pretty close to your sisters and that Omega fuck but I guess my charms won you over towards me. I don't know too much about everything since I haven't been part of conspiracy long." he responded
"But I guess if you can't remember anything right now, probably will have to try later. I was on my way back to conspiracy from my journey and training. How about we start off tomorrow trying to get your memory back. Wait! your fuckin mother!! she can heal your shit back!" Donovan said.
Sunny went to speak and shut her mouth and then started again.
"Okay first thing is you gotta stop swearing so much. I don't think I've ever heard someone swear so much....ever." She listened to him and the name Omega meant nothing. She shook her head.
"Don't know that name." She listened and when he got excited about her mother helping she grabbed his hand and looked at him. Sunny captured his attention with her eyes.
"Donovan, did I love my life before? Because it reads like a really bad scene in the newspaper. I don't know that I want that life back nor it's memories. I like you, I really do but isn't there a lot about my past that rings painful? Are you sure I want to know everything?""I always speak like that....that's just how I am...just expressing myself, love." he said leaning back. He looked over at her when her eyes stared on nearly piercing him with them
"You seemed to have your ups and downs from when I first met you all and you had some unforgivable shit done to you but you had good people around you that were there for you and I'm very certain that they missed you." he said
"I learned from my training that my past can help you for better or worse. The past can help you to have a stronger future if approached the right way and positive. I've done....so much terrible shit in my life and endured some of the worse things a child could ever experience but....after realizing the pain I've caused because of my past and the pain I've felt, this training has started helping me heal from that....basically...I'm going to kick my inner demons in the balls and try to repent for all the sinful shit I've done. It may be hard to handle knowing about your charming past but it's for the better of your progressing in life. Embrace that shit."Sunny thought about what he said and squeezed his hand and then she turned towards him and kissed him.
"I feel like I've kissed you before." she whispered to him.
"I have haven't I?" She said.
"I don't have my memories but I have feelings about things, you...You call me babes and love but we weren't a couple. I know we've kissed before. I don't know how I know that but I do. What were we? There was something there but we never consumated it. I feel it in here." She put his hand against her heart. She pulled him to her and kissed him, solidly following her feelings and nothing else. When she pulled back her lips were swollen her eyes were half closed and she licked her lips.
Sunny looked him in the eyes and stood up going into her bedroom. She slipped her bathing suit down and turned towards him and beckoned him to come in.
"Donovan come to me and let me feel what we are."Donovan was a little surprised about the kiss that was delivered to him, looking a little taken back from her action.
"Um...yeah...you've uh... kissed me before." he retorts
"We had a heart to heart once...I can say we're not officially together like that but...you damn sure wanted to help me because of my behaviour. And from your actions before, I guess there was something there and didn't push for anything to happen yet. I think you were waiting on me to change first." he guessed. When she kissed him again, his ability activated again as his powers were fully controllable as it felt spontaneous when he could feel her strong urges in her heart which connected to his and started to feel that urge as well. He could feel it, in her heart, the feeling of comfort towards him as he kissed her back once again.
He was feeling just about what she was feeling as he went with her to remove a bit of his clothing thinking to himself how freaky this was, experiencing every feeling in her heart nearly overwhelming him. He then thought to himself that this empathy thing....he could get used to it. Something he's never been able to grasp until now. He walked over to her, looking at her nude body for a moment and then embraced her, kissing her neck.
Sunny responded in kind and quickly removed the last of his clothes and they fell into one another for most of the night and when Sunny woke up it was in a tangle of arms and legs wrapped possessively around her. She smiled and held onto him tightly. She was still scared of knowing all of her past and the terrible things that happened to her. She kissed his chest where her head lay. No matter what she found out about their pasts she knew their feelings were real. He couldn't have been that passionate without feelings of his own....
After their passionate event, Donovan laid there just looking up at the ceiling. This was different. After years of being a forceful, lowlife that took what he wanted just to have satisfaction and no regard for the other person's feelings, Donovan felt a little funny. Never experiencing a legit feeling towards someone else and it was honestly a little scary for Donovan. Was this what love was like? Care? natural affection for someone? Well...whatever it was, this was something to take in. Zen did tell him not to let himself get overwhelmed but for someone to not have felt positive emotions before, this was much to swallow but he calmed himself...well tried to. His heavy heartbeats could tell this was a bit of a rush for him but he stayed quiet.
