"Mom? Dad? Where did you go?"

Marilyn Drake

Age:
12

Gender:
Female

Appearance:
A small child, with long hair that reaches her ankles, and eyes filled with perpetual longing. She had a gracidea flower hairpin that keeps her hair off of her face.

Personality:
Always happy, the light brunette is so very glad that she could live with her mother and father. They don't talk as much as they did a few years ago, but she doesn't mind. She loves to meet knew people, and wants to become friends with everyone.

In truth, she is struggling with the loss of her parents, her mind creating fake phantoms for her own sanity. No matter how wide she smiles, or how much she laughs with joy, there will always be a crack, an impurity within them.

Bio:
It all happened so fast. Her mother and father shouted for her to hide, each of them giving her 2 of their pokeballs as her Pancham pulled her into the closet. Through the slits in the door, she watched as they broke into the house, overwhelming both of her parents, as well as their strongest companions. A Swampert and A Sceptile. Her panda Pokemon pulled her eyes from the scene before they feasted on the corpses of her family, and covered her ears with his paws to keep her from hearing their screams. The two later left the closet, and saw the empty, broken room, two similar red stains all that was left of the girl's two role models.

How are pokemon moves going to work in this RP? Like the anime (Humans can take Pokemon attacks, even the more powerful ones, without major injury. Fainted Pokemon cam get back up on their feet, but too weak to fight), games (people can be killed by Pokemon moves. Fainting stays until the Pokemon is healed), or realistic? (Stronger Pokemon moves can be lethal to anyone, including fellow pokemon)

@ianzerep Thanks for asking, I wasn't thinking about that. ...Maybe anime-ish with some realistic aspects.
Pokemon moves can hit humans once or twice without them dying, depending on which move they are hit with, fainted pokemon can still get back onto their feet, but they can be killed if they are hit with a move that is powerful enough or if they're too weak to survive another hit. Moves that have 120 power or more are most likely to kill humans with one hit as well as one hit KO moves. Also- Humans would be more likely to survive a thunderbolt than a flamethrower. Any other suggestions?

Will slicing, stabbing, and biting Pokemon Moves draw blood? If so, Steel types and Dragon types are scary as hell zombies. Also, would bitting a zombie cause an infection? (Ex: Totodile uses Bite on a zombie. The blood from the wound flows into his mouth and he swallows it. Would he become a zombie, himself?)

@ianzerep Biting a zombie would probably cause an infection if the zombie blood is swallowed. Slicing and stabbing moves do draw blood, but unless the infected person/pokemon's biological material(I'm sure there's a better word, I just can't think of it at the moment) gets into the bloodstream, the biting attacks are what you'll have to worry about most. Also, I'm thinking of making steel and ghost types immune to the virus.

I understand Steel types... Most of the them, anyway, but Ghost types have no exception to the rule of zombie-ism. All Elemental Fang moves, plus certain dark type moves (Bite, Crunch, etc.) Can still touch a ghost-type.

@NewMoonGamer
For Pokemon speaking to each other, how will that work? Will we use {brackets} to show that they are speaking in their species' dialect (their own name), or will we just forgo Pokemon conversation entirely?

@ianzerep They can touch steel types as well technically. I went with ghosts as well since they're already dead really.(Or at least not among the living)

@NewMoonGamer
That is true. Maybe the ghost types are just hated by zombies, since the Pokemon have presence, but have no real flesh or blood? I'd think that the zombies would be unnaturally aggressive towards the ghost-types, and seek them out to kill what is already dead.
