Isami Suzuki

NORMAL APPEARANCE:
Isami is a pale skinned girl with short black hair and large, dark burgundy eyes. Her most notable feature is her short stature and slim, almost frail looking body. Her appearance has often been compared to that of a doll (often a very creepy one).

APPEARANCE AFTER SOUL LINK:
Isami's hair becomes a bit longer and wavier, and she dons the same kimono her guardian does, along with her parasol.

PERSONALITY:
Although her somewhat eerie appearance tends to draw people away, Isami is a very kind and compassionate person. She's quiet and soft spoken, but always attempts to break up unnecessary conflict as best as she can. Isami's also often described as a bit mysterious and unusual, as she tends to perceive and make first impressions by hearing the 'colours' of people's voices, something perceived to be even more unusual. But the loyalty she shares for her close friends is like no other, and she will do what she can to make the situation better. Even if it means to… well, snap.

BIO:
Will be revealed in the IC… But there are a few things that can be shared.

A lot of red, a lot of loneliness, and a hell of a lot of rain.

Gin

APPEARANCE:


APPEARANCE:
The Ameonna, a famous yokai that often pops up in Japanese folklore discussions and stories. As a Ameonna herself, Gin's true form is that of a light skinned and slender woman of about 5'7. Her thick black hair is long and straight, reaching to her hips. Her eyes are a deep blue, along with her elaborately designed kimono.

CLASS: Caster

MAGIC:
As a skilled wielder of water, Gin has a variety of abilities. She can control and create large amounts of water, and is even able to transform her own body into water itself. However, whilst physical attacks cannot harm her, attacks more than five metres away from where she's standing will. Also, as an Ameonna, Gin is able to conjure up clouds and make it rain, which gives a slight boost to her abilities. However, only when she ever experiences extreme emotions will Gin perform such a feat.

PERSONALITY:
In contrast to Isami, Gin is a mischievous young woman with a tendency to provoke people all too often. She's sarcastic and a little rude, but above all she's an all out thrill seeker. Gin enjoys a good fight more than anything, and even manages to conjure up trouble whenever and wherever possible. However, Gin isn't one to be fooled around with, even if she does seem like the simple minded, hot blooded lady that's on the look out for fun 24/7. She will put up many facades and will manipulate many people if she sees fit, tricking them into thinking something when the truth is literally staring them in the face. This woman chooses her words wisely, so be careful.

A lot of people wonder why Isami sticks around with such a woman. With her merciless, almost sadistic attitude in battle and the slight interest she shares with Isami, what's there not to not like?

Well, she did save Isami's life. So she'll be lingering around for a bit longer.

The only thing you should know, though: if you wish to bring his backstory into the RP as a plot, @Obscene Symphony and I will need to know more details about it. The vagueness of it at the moment means it can fit into the world, so we can accept your characters, but when details start getting added I can see that there may be problems that arise.

So yeah, just hit us up before bringing his backstory into the IC!

Yeah, sure, that makes sense to me. I know RiverMaiden also took Darkness, but I think you two are the only ones. Which kind of threw me for a loop when I just double-checked the characters because for whatever reason I had been thinking of Illusion as Darkness.

Would you be able to explain the magic a little more? Specifically the mechanics/technicalities of the bit about attacks within 5 metres of her not affecting her. As there will be some Player vs Player interactions in the RP, that could basically make it impossible for certain characters to do anything to Isami and Gin. Before jumping to any conclusions, though, I want to hear more about how you imagine that part of her magic to work.

@Cenco I was thinking of having Gin/Isami being able to transform into a body of water initially, but not automatically. Also, maybe having them not being able to cast any magic whilst in their water form would be a good weakness? In other words, they can't do any fancy water spells if they're currently in their water form. Hope this makes sense?
