Serafina Grey

It was currently one o'clock in the morning, and what better place for Ms. Grey to be than Club Delacour? Currently standing at the top of the stairs while the lights bounced around playing tricks on everyones eyes, the vampiress would watch the crowd. There was a selection of people here tonight, just as there always was. With a deep breath, she would smile as an evil gleam arose in her eyes. Walking down the left side of the stairs gracefully as she headed to find her next piece of prey, she would pause for a moment, her head turning to the side as if to look for something. It was a familiar scent that she smelled, the one of alcohol as a glass dropped to the floor. There was nothing to be scared of just yet.

As she walked over to the bar, she would catch a smile from a man on the other side of the room, and returned it herself. With curiosity present in his striking blue eyes, there would be no question that this would be the woman's next victim. Walking on over and beginning a flirtatious laugh her and there, she would feel her phone vibrate. Holding up a finger to the man as she checked the message, she would shake it off. Nothing but an update on the wolf pack. As the door opened, her head snapped up. A hostile scent was now here, a barely audible hiss escaping through her teeth. "I smell mutt," she murmured.

"What, Miss," blue eyes replied.

"Oh nothing, darling," she replied. "Please, continue."

Reinor Hjeltven

They'd come by moonlight, under guise of formal wear, but they were so much more. Reinor led his small scouting party into the Delacour, each in appropriate attire for the environment. Reinor's silver chain still hung about his neck, but it was tucked into the gray suit he donned. He rolled up his sleeve to adjust a silver watch upon his wrist, but he didn't seem to bother checking the time. His raven beard trimmed, hair combed backward and gelled. A patron lightly bumped up against his right arm and he brushed his shoulder before continuing forward. There was no exchange of words with the party. Two fingers into the air with thumb tucked, motioning forward. Their first step was in unison straight before diverting off, each surveying a different section of Club Delacour.

Reinor made his way to the bar, leaning against it with bended elbow and other hand upon his forearm. One of his legs was bent against the bar wall to provide more support; black, leather shoes creaking so quietly. His pale, stone eyes looked to the bartender and Reinor made his order with a wave of his hand. Reinor sipped the Old Fashioned and sucked the residual liquid off of his bottom lip. His eyes fell to the glass counter. The strobe lights had no way to interfere with his senses; he was aware of every human coupled with every vampire at the moment. There were seven in total, and more likely skulked at the balcony above the dance floor. With another sip, Reinor's pale eyes unmistakably clashed against Serafina's. Unblinking, he would stare for a moment just beyond being polite, just touching an uncomfortable pause. An unspoken message of dominance: The Silver Crowns are in your territory. And we are not afraid. A woman walked in-between the two's field of vision, so Reinor played with casual conversation in the meantime, remaining aware of the position of each of his pack members and the vampires.

Ayana Efia Attah

When the plan to go into Club Delacour was suggested, Ayana hadn't thought to be picked to go with the small scouting party. It was old fears coming up, the reminder of her parents and their position, and how she had been treated growing up before she was forced to leave. She had already told herself to not be disappointed when Reinor told her she was coming along. She should have known better; she told herself everyday she was a good asset to the pack, and that she and Reinor spoke about pack matters often, but those lingering doubts and fears still floated to the forefront of her mind. However, a positive attitude was always a good thing. She would have changed her train of thoughts given the chance, but Reinor hadn't hesitated to call on her and tell her to prepare for tonight. While Ayana was rearing to go, she wasn't quite rearing to get dress. She preferred comfortable wear with no shoes; for this, she had to dress up. She had outfits, of course she did, and even nicer things, because she did go into town sometimes and wanted to blend in correctly.

She didn't do anything big or special; just a simple black cocktail dress because it was a club and, unfortunately, heels. Not very tall, because if she couldn't handle the short ones that well, she seriously wouldn't be able to do taller heels. She could walk but running might be out of the question. She didn't mind losing these, if that was what it came down too. She couldn't really do much with her unruly, thick curly hair, leaving it as it was. No jewelry or make-up, she thought she had done well enough. The club was loud, and crowded, and had a mixture of human sweat and vampire scent. When they stepped inside, her nose wrinkled, not only at the smell, but all the people, the loud music, and heavy strobe lights also made her pull a face. At Reinor's order, she moved forward, breaking off and going away from the bar. The environment was almost overwhelming but she still scanned faces as she passed tables, stared out into the moving bodies on the dance floor. She could smell the vampires, their scent was strong and sickly, and as she began to pass a flight of stairs, she stopped. Her head snapped towards the stairs and she sniffed the air. Vampires.

She felt the beginnings of a growl deep in her chest but she didn't release it, of course. Vampires tended to have that effect on her. She glanced behind her, not seeing anyone else from the pack; the club was busy tonight and they were all lost in the crowd. She looked back up the stairs and took another sniff of the air. Before she could determine a number of how many were on the balcony, a man inferred, smelling of sweat and alcohol. She nearly flinched as he drew close to her, asking for a dance. She felt that unease she always felt around people outside of her pack and she firmly said no before making her way up the stairs, deciding to check it out up there before attempting to find anyone else from the scouting party.
