In Depth Appearance◄
William might have came from a wealthy family but he did not look nor dress the part. He doesn't work hard on his appearance at all. He lets his dirty-blonde hair do as it will and because of this, he's always reaching up and pushing it off of his forehead, giving it a wind-swept look. He has very thick matching eyebrows, set above eyes that can't decide what color they want to be. In dimmer lighting, they appear to be a blue, with only the barest hint of hazel green; the hazel green comes to life when in bright lighting, especially sunlight, akin to the color of a leaf with sunlight streaming through it. A surprising amount of freckles dot along his whole face, not missing one place to be. They are quite noticeable when he has a paler complexion but when he gets a tan, it looks as if he doesn't have as many. Another feature that may stand out about William is his wonderful butt chin. Standing at a towering 6'2, he has a very skinny, lanky build, with body hair that's more blonde and so, unnoticeable.
He definitely does not dress like the typical rich preppy boy. His style is more on the side of grungy lazy teenager without the stinky part, since he is hygienic, and hipster, a mixture that is both but neither at the same time. His usual go to are slouchy pants, either plain or graphic v-neck shirts, old, faded graphic tank tops, baggy flannel button ups, messy, run down shoes, sandals; most of his outfits make it seem like he really doesn't care what he's wearing at all. He owns too many pairs of boots, all rugged and worn in, usually ankle high with buckles and straps, or plain sandals that have seen better days. If he does wear jeans, it's usually skinny jeans or cut off jean shorts with frayed edges. He has a large collection of beanies and hats, things he still wears in the summer because he thinks they're just that great.

- He's always, always, snacking.
- He has the habit of letting his mind wander, and sometimes, he'll ignore people by accident because of it, but he does apologize; overthinking.
- He really doesn't mind being naked in a non-sexual way, he sees it as a natural thing and thinks there's more to the human body than hidden "sexual organs."
- He has the habit of kicking his shoes off and walking around bare-foot.
- He has the habit of licking/sucking the flavor off his chips before eating them.
- He has the habit of cleaning up after himself/other people all the time because he hated letting the maids do it at home.

Personality◄
Will was born with a silver spoon in his mouth but he hasn't let that shape him into some entitled, spoiled brat. Not like his stupid siblings. He keeps to himself most of the time, choosing to be quiet in fear he'll say something stupid or be judged harshly, so he comes off as shy. He isn't insecure in his looks but he is insecure in himself, his thoughts, and that makes him hold back on speaking aloud. However, that doesn't mean he'll clam up all the time; one of Will's favorite things to do is push people's buttons, finds out what makes them tick, but in a playful, charming way. He doesn't mean to come off as rude or offensive, but some people may see it as that. When he thinks he's wrong about something, he does get defensive then, even angry, not admitting when he's wrong, and having a tendency to tell little white lies or exaggerate a story.
He's actually very understanding and accepting of people. He believes in women's rights heavily and treats each woman as an equal, respecting them as much as he does other guys. He rarely flirts/hits on anyone, though sometimes, his goofy and teasing nature can be taken for a form of boyish flirting. In reality, he sucks at flirting, and can even get nervous around a guy he likes. He's very laid back and one with nature; he loves the outdoors and would much rather be travelling and seeing the world instead of sitting in a big CEO office like his father. He prefers a simple, free lifestyle to a rich, privileged one.

Background◄
William was born into a very wealthy family. His father, Franklin, is the CEO of a private business in their little town, making them the richest family there. His mother, Katharine, is a trophy wife and nothing more. He was the third child, having two older brothers. One brother, Travis, was five years older, whereas the other brother, Keith, was two years older. Travis and Keith were very close and didn't like when Will came along. So, Will grew up in a household with an absent father, an uncaring mother, and siblings who bullied him each chance they got. Each child had basically been raised by a nanny and the other maids of the house, the mother always going out to better her looks, and the father always working. when Will was five years old, their parents decided it would be a good idea to have yet another child, this one a girl they named Hannah. Of course, Travis and Keith basically ignored Hannah as they all grew older, choosing to instead bully Will. It partly shaped the person Will is today; his brothers were always undermining him, making him feel stupid, and making him very defensive of his own being. At ten, his brothers got the bright idea that it'd be funny to throw Will into the pool... when he couldn't swim. He managed to not drown, obviously, but it did traumatize him.
As Will kept growing, and learning new things, he noticed how his mother treated Hannah. Hannah was never allowed to play outside, or to play video games, or do anything considered "boy-ish" as his mother said all the time. Instead, Hannah had to be girly, and have her nails painted and wear dresses all the time. It made Will uneasy and annoyed, the beginnings of his feminism. Also as Will kept growing, his brothers thought his fear of the pool was funny, and would sometimes throw him in, fully clothed, and even sometimes with his backpack from school still on, soaking all his books and work. He fought back and defended himself, but they fought back harder, and Will almost always ended up on his ass with some sort of injury for his smart mouth. Being treated in such a way might have made him a bitter bastard but instead, he has a more open and understanding view of the world. Eventually, Travis followed in daddy's footsteps, and became an employee at the office, bagging himself his own trophy wife, and having a big, fancy house. Just because Travis was gone, didn't mean Keith was any easier on Will. Actually, he was probably harder on Will, since Will dressed the way he did and behaved the way he did, and Keith claimed he was a little freak. Will's mother hated how he dressed, and demanded he dress like a normal person, but he always refused. Hannah became a very spoiled "girly girl" that when Will tried to encourage her to break from the mold their mother forced her into, she called him stupid and rarely spoke to him.
At 15, he ran away during the summer. He had been reading stories of modern day hoboing on the internet and wanted to do it himself. Shortly after leaving, and learning quick how to train hop without possibly getting ran over or his neck broken, he met an older man that was hoboing too. They had an instant click, the older man willing to help Will out since he deemed Will was "too damn young to be out here on his own," and Will was thrilled. Almost a week had passed before he had the discovery that he just didn't see the older man as a friend and mentor, but as more, and he liked him a lot. Before, he had never been interested in girls like other guys at school, and now he understood why. He was too young, shy and inexperienced to do anything but he had the hugest and, most of the time, embarrassing crush on the man. The secret came out when the man shared whiskey with him, a way of congratulating him on making it for almost two weeks, and of course, Will was a lightweight and it came out. Unfortunately, his parents wanted him back, and, being as rich as they were, they had all the police in the area around searching for him, and he even had an reward on his head for anyone who found him. After Will revealed his secret, his discovery that he was gay and scared because his hometown had that typical small-town mindset about that kind of stuff, he really didn't want to go back.
The man, of course, turned him down gently and a few more days passed of going nowhere specific when it happened. The man turned him over to the police. Will couldn't believe it; he was hurt and heartbroken over the betrayal. He was forced to go back home by a police escort. After a screaming argument with his parents, he stormed out of the room, but had stopped when he heard his mother mention the man. She said she didn't understand why the man had turned down the money and only said to take care of him. Will felt better that the man hadn't just gave him up for the money but he was still hurt. He had to move on and so he did, spending the rest of his summer under watchful eyes and being pissed about it. He went through the school year, keeping his new founded sexuality a secret, and even going out a couple times with girls, nervous and worried of being rejected and hated. However, one of his guy friends at the time, Jason, wanted to hang out with him one day and Will agreed. He never noticed it but he was well-liked and popular at school, since he didn't let the things at home follow him around and he was charming, goofy and overall fun. Jason and him were hanging out in his room when Jason came onto him, admitting he liked Will a lot; Will had been shocked but he had found Jason attractive and so he went with it. Unfortunately, Hannah decided to barge into his room like the sassy and entitled brat she was, to tell Will their mother wanted to see him, and caught them kissing. Will tried to stop her from leaving the room but Hannah ran downstairs screaming for their mom and told Katherine what she had seen. It went downhill from there; Jason's parents were called to be informed of what happened then he was kicked out and Will's father was called to let him know what had happened.
His parents were very unhappy with him. Hannah and Keith were too, copying their parent's reactions instead of having thoughts of their own. The rest of the day, Will had to hear a long, long speech of how wrong that was, and he tried to argue it, but of course they wouldn't listen. His family treated him like he was sick after that and he couldn't stand it, always snapping at them and biting off their heads, only causing more problems. Even Jason stopped talking to him, keeping his head down more often in school, and Will was hurt and it just made him want to leave all this behind. The upcoming summer, he had been planning another hoboing trip, this time planning on going far away, out of the state, before anyone could find him. But, instead, his parents surprised him by telling him he was going to Camp Liberty, a place where they hoped he could better himself (he took that as "fix" himself). Will wasn't too thrilled but at least he wouldn't be home and he'd be out in the nature. Maybe he wouldn't even go home after.
