*Sarrai'a hearing that the alpha is allowing the newcomer to enter relaxes the rest of the way and finally takes her eyes off of him and backs the rest of the way into the main room of the building*

The hunter stepped away from the door, only just now glancing up to see the sign.

"Greyfall Guild..." Where had he heard that name before? An expression of realization dawned on his face. "Oh... This was the guild that was in that advertisement...?"

[Kuibe]

*Elras starts to sweat a little as he hears the words "sign in blood"

"Wi-with my blood?"

*he hesitantly reaches for his dagger at his side and cuts his hand bleeding all over the paper but you can make out the words (E, L, A and S)*

"Uh... Will that do...?"

*he says as he looks around the room for something to patch his hand up as he spots the man passed out on the floor and goes to shake him a little*

With the hunter's attention diverted, the little girl again peered at the building.She suddenly came to the realization that they ha probably sen her by now. If they weren't friendly, she'd know by now! She walked past the hunter, her feet gliding on the ground with such grace that she didn't even disturb the leaves that rested on the soil. Making her way to one of the holes in the wall, she looked in.

Lilith's eyes glittered as she heard the mysterious man mention her advertisement. It worked! It worked! For once in her life, something actually worked! She flushed and beamed at the man, feeling overwhelmingly proud of her self.

"You've heard of us?" she asked as Elras slit his entire hand open. "Oh, you'll have to excuse me a moment, I need to help him clean up."

He gave a worried glance to the man's bleeding hand, and then back to the woman who seemed amazingly good at multitasking.

"Uh.. Yes, I saw your poster on the community board of the neighboring town. It was not my intention to come here, but it seems the Fates had different plans for me." He chuckled quietly, as if laughing about an inside joke. "My name is Caelus."

[Kuibe]

*Elras pulls out a small box labeled "adventurers-aid" as he pulls out a band-aid's attempting to cover his hand wound*

Lilith sighed when she heard the man was talking about the poster, and not her performance of juggling flaming batons while on a unicycle to showcase how cool her guild was...

"Well, regardless of your reasons, you're still welcome to stay the night." she replied while heading to the medicine cabinet. Being as short as she was, Lilith couldn't quite reach it on her own. She then scanned her surroundings to see a broom within an arms reach. Without hesitating, she placed the broom between her legs and kicked of the ground so she was hovering a few feet high.

"That should do i-" she cut herself off once she noticed the tiny nymph in the wall's hole, "So, you finally came."

Clover met the eyes of the woman in the cabin. She seemed excited by all the people around. Not common for forest creatures, but she liked it! She smiled.

"I heard talking, and it was not just you conversing with yourself this time, so I was curious!"

Though she enjoyed adventuring, this place had always felt comforting. Maybe she would plant herself here for a while. Her home plant needed to set root again soon, anyway.

*He treats his wound properly and scurries on over to a room and closes the door, then gets under the covers and starts to doze off from his long day*

Lilith flushed red at the mention of her habits of talking to her self as she flew the first aid box over to her newest guild member, seeing as he was trying to stop the bleeding with a single band aid, and he was starting to lose color in his face.

"I don't ALWAYS talk to myself you know...I just...get lonely...since I'm isolated in the woods with a magic, talking skull as my only companion."

She peeled the tiny bandage off of Elras' palm and began wrapping his wound properly before letting him nod off.

With curious eyes, the young girl gazed with wonder around the building, actually sticking her head through the hole in the wall.

"Such wonder! How humans make structures out of such ancient twigs of oak!"

[LissaLu]

"Yeah, it's a pretty old place. Around 450 years old, I think? That's what the old guild master said...well before he...you know what, nevermind." Lilith mumbled at the end of her sentence, landing her broom and leaning it against the wall. She then picked up Elras and squinted at his garbled writing.

"Elas?" she scratched her head. "Well, I have to go file this, but the two of you are welcome to come in. I'll make you some barley tea when I get back." With that, she disappeared into some room.

Curiosity taking over, Clover pulled her head back. She knew what barley was, but tea? How interesting! She walked over to the hunter, and tentatively looked up at him, meeting his eyes only when she saw that he was looking back.

"Come with me, bear-kin, these people want to be our friends!"

She took his hand in hers. Her hand appeared much like that of a human's, but her skin had the slightest hint of green to it instead of pink, and she had no visible veins. With a gentle tug, she led him through the door and into the building.

Returning from the back filing room, Lilith went to the kitchen to prepare the tea. She grabbed a handfull of dried barley from an unlabled mason jar and set it in a pot of water to boil. It was worth going out and collecting ingredients now that there was actually someone who would enjoy them again. How long had it been? Six months? It seemed like longer...the water was boiling now, so she should probably strain the barley out now. Honestly, the tea tasted best cold, but she had no way to cool it down, so she added some honey and called it good before returning out into the main hall with three mugs in hand. She noticed that the fire was starting to die, so she placed the cups on one of the old tables and approached the fireplace to add more lumber.

Clover walked over to the cups, and tilted her head in confusion. What was this odd cloud coming from the mug? Placing her hand through the steam, she gazed in awe at the new substance, which felt warm to the touch. Turning to Lilith, she intended to ask what this sorcery was. But suddenly she was stricken. She stood motionless, petrified by what she saw. The Red Death. The forest killer. Being fed by the woman she wished to befriend. As if she...trusted it.

Lilith could feel the tension behind her and turned around to see Clover's horrified expression. She wanted to kick herself for not realizing she was housing a nymph, so of course she's be afraid of fire. Now she had done it. The nymph would run away and she'd lose a potential guild member...of course her luck would run out if she kept pushing it.

"Y-you don't have to worry!" Lilith stuttered, sweating up a storm "it's a controlled fire! It won't leave this little box because stone isn't flamable...y-you know? I'm only lighting it to keep the sleeping members warm since night's about to fall and I'm not strong enough to drag them to their rooms..."

Lilith gulped and tried not to cry "please...don't leave."

[Thistle]

It took Clover a moment to work up the courage to speak.

"So...so long as I do not have to go near the forest killer...I will stay..."

She made herself look back at the cup hoping the wonder she had so recently been feeling would return and fill her with joy again. It didn't.

"It...takes the powerful magic of stone to keep plants safe from the red death...are...are you a sorceress?"

She looked back at the woman, sheepishly raising her head in hopes that communication would soothe the poor sad dear.

"Ah...a witch, actually. I make potions and stuff and fly on a broom." She shyly stated, gesturing to the broom she used to reach the first aid kit. "I'm um...not very good yet since I don't any books on magic, so I make a better rouge since I'm small...and quiet."

[Thistle]

"Oh, I have met a few forest witches in my time. Very nice people, very kind to the forest-kin."

She gave a more genuine smile.

"You can control the Red Death. Though it seems 'not very good' to you, that is quite the incredible feat in my eyes!"
