"I didn't know she was a witch."

Drek wanders over to a nearby tree stump and dusts it off with his handkerchief before taking a seat.

"You didn't notice her broom or hat."

"Agreed."

He busied himself with checking the condition of his bow. If these wild animals did prove to be dangerous, they might just make a good meal.

*Sarrai'a pulled out the book of rites and continued to read from where she had reach in studies and praticed forming the ruins for the rite of the storm*

After a a little bit, Lilith returned, now teetering on her broom and struggling to stay afloat. It isn't often where Lilith has to fly for long periods of time, so when she does, it can drain her stamina. Panting a little bit and red in the face, Lilith lands in front of the party.

"The...bridge is still up *pant", but *gasp* it's not looking too hot...we should *cough* take an axe in case...a log bridge is needed."

Caelus glanced up from his bow, recognizing some of the runes Sarrai'a was forming.

"May I ask what you are practicing?"

*closes her book as Lilith lands* "I'm working on figuring out how to properly perform the Rite of the Storm, the last of the primal rites taught by the blood hunters that I was a member of. .......Does anyone have an axe one them?"

[Boodles]

"well as a matter of fact..."

With a flip of his cloak Drek stands up off the stump. He holds out his hands and a purple energy forms around them. At first the energy ripples uncontrollably, but then it settles into the shape of a thin rod. Drek holds the rod in one hand and waves the other over the end of the rod, forming a curved sharp head. Then with a snap of his fingers the energy dissipates and leaves behind a simple steel axe in Drek's hand.

"This should be well enough for our purposes right?"

"Yep that should work." *Sarrai'a said as she gave Drek a cautious look, as she has only seen warlocks form blades in that nature, and any warlocks she has come across have not been exactly the nicest of people.*

Lilith blinked, a little caught off guard. This young man sure loved to show off, didn't he?

"I was just going to get the old axe that was out back, but I guess that works too."

"You good to head out Lilith."

[LissaLu]

Lilith gave a thumbs up and began to lead the way.

*Sarrai'a began to follow Lilith very clearly holding back her speed so as not to pass Lilith*

Drek came after holding his axe over his shoulder in an attempt to look cool.

"Drek, you're a warlock aren't you."

[Boodles]

"Why..."

Drek casually flips his axe into the air and attempts to catch it single handed, but it falls to the ground next to him and rattles as it's motion comes to a stop.

"... Yes I am."

Drek winks and shoots a finger gun at Sarrai'a.

*Sarrai'a turns to Drek and Snarls* "For what purpose did you make a pact with a demon."

[Boodles]

Drek holds out his arms to his sides and lets out a loud haughty laugh. He smiles and looks Sarria'a dead in the face.

"Isn't it obvious? Why does anyone make a pact with a demon?"

Lilith led the small group through the forest, regaining her energy now that she didn't have to use magic. It was a long, winding, trail, so she guessed she could understand why Drekven, who appeared to be some snooty rich boy who just left home for the first time could get lost out here. It was a long time ago, so she really couldn't remember that well, but she was pretty sure that her first exposure to the Guild was after being lost in the woods, too. At this point she heard the hostility going on behind her and she stopped instantly and whipped her head around.

"Saarai'a. You do NOT snarl at fellow guild members! We're a family, so I expect you to act like it." She scolded. For the first time, Lilith looked very adult.

"For power, I realize that but why do you want this power." *Her hand moving to grip the hilt of her sword*
*Hearing Lilith scold her she lets go of the hilt of her sword but continues to stare Drek dead in the face*
