I have no problems against skipping to the next day. Shall we immediately skip to the part where some of the characters sign up for the struggle tournament, and if Satoko and/or Rika signs up then Ascot will encounter them there.

Yeah magic is out ruled, so I think Reno/Oner would do less in the tournament.

Yea, even though Oner is more of a warrior than a mage he is kind of like a Cleric.

He is quite good with a weapon, but the main brunt of his power comes from his magic. Just like Clerics (I am talking about D&D Clerics)
