THE MORE AWESOMEST POTATO:
Let me properly introduce myself. I am Sir Spud the Fourth, and I have been a potato for the longest time ever. I never denied it to be completely honest, but it is only recently that I embraced it. Now I have evolved from a simple couch potato to a fully grown royal potato. A dapper kawaii potato. And I dare say, knowing that you are a spud, makes life a lot easier. Just chill and let everyone else care about all their meaningless things because at the end of the day you'll know: chilling is the way to go.
I try to spend minimal effort on things that I don't care about, and procrastination might as well be my middle name. But that doesn't mean I ONLY rest. Sometimes a 'tato gotta do what a 'tato gotta do. And if that something happens to be things I like, then you cannot find anyone better than me. I am an omnipotent being capable of virtually any task to a limited degree, and I am not shy to admit it. I may not be the MOST AWESOMEST in a thing, but I am sure as hell MORE AWESOMEST than most people are at everything. But hey, I'm not here to brag, even if I am probabaly better at it than you
THE DREAMER:
All those nights laying in my couch, I thought about the cool shit that I cannot do. That I cannot see. But I pictured them in front of myself like they were real, and that infuraited me. Then I found the Guild, and I lived happily after. I have been on the site for 2 years now, and I have seen many RPs, and played with many people. I wish I have found the site earlier, but I am glad that I've even found it. Now all those fantasies can be written down and my mind can rest at ease at night, without being constantly troubled by ideas.
When I RP, I love myself some good Sci-Fi or Fantasy. But hey I am filthy casual, I can go for anything with an interesting setting. I don't trouble myself on small details if the plot is good, but if you get somwthing wrong you can expect me to tell you about it. Some even go as far as to think that I am angry or something, but I am too chill for that. If anything I'm more of the funny type, so you can expect me to try and write some shitty jokes or post memes I found on the internet. Anyways, you'll see what I mean when we RP together.
THE ARTIST:
Used to be something else here, but I'm happy to say that it's replaced because of a positive change. I now work as a full-time 3D artist in the animation industry, churning out shot after shot for some of your favorite game intros and trailers. Can't say anything about them before you even ask, and even though I'm still new to the industry I love it and I already know that this will be my passion for a long time. So hopefully in a few years I'll have a proud portfolio of animations that were done by yours truly that I can show off to all the lovely people of the guild.
THE LOVER OF STUFF:
Now I may have hobbies like the above mentioned, but there are some more things that I love in life. Here is a handy list of things you can always talk about with me:
- Gaming: This one I am quite proud of, I'm a serious gamer with capital G. Not as much time for it nowadays, but still true.
- Music: All kinds of electronic music, but I am a sucker for Queen and Powerwolf. Or Breakbot... anything music.
- Anime: We all have an Otaku in us, but it's bigger for some people. For me it's just big enough.
WORDS OF WISDOM:
Be chill folks, getting fed up about stuff is a recipe for disaster. You gotta learn to be patient and let things go, or you'll end up a wrinkly old man/woman with only bad memories about life. Even if you do fuck-all every day, you can live a content life by taking things easy. With that said, as always, stay safe and stay classy.

@Crusader Lord You know me, I'm the kinda guy who ran Shadowform Priest and spammed Mind Blast with a macro on one of those 30 key mouses they sell in korea
And yeah, the idea is to make a slow burner that ticks every single checkbox for fans of NRP who sometimes feel like certain areas are lacking. The idea is to make something slow, lore and creativity friendly, that has the potential to become literally anything that the palyers want to form it into. (Not that I'm expecting it or anything, but give us two years or three and we'll have a space NRP on our hands XD )
So yeah, I'm not gonna tempt you to join, but please, feel tempted to join us X3

@rush99999 Yes, absolutely! I'm jsut working on a composite file right now that I can quickly reproduce for everyone to have a personalize worldview of topography and biomes! I'll make yours first, so expect a PM soon.
And since it's officially not my birthday here anymore, I'll also be working on everybody else's who already marked their palce so you can get some idea as to where you all live!
@Odin Hehe, I was thinking talking here as well, for that reason. For point two I'm going to allow creative freedom but within certain limits for the sake of balancing. So for example, if I say steelworking, your civilization might make simple swords like they used to, they might make something akeen to an elven sabre or an orcish warhammer, or some glirious nippon nichirin colorblade that changes colors depending on the user. They might use industrial forges the size of a house, some rickety construction they hobbled together from seashells and dead algae, or they are burying charcoal underground with some ore to make the materials. Whatever it is, that's up to you, but not one race will suddenly gain the ability create wine from water or steel from owls.
BUT! If you have any cool ideas for technologies, materials, animals, geographical features or magic (yes, magic! But on that I will touch later on, it will be a big IC thing) then feel free to say, and after a community vote we'll add it to the game. Perhaps the best example is the game I totally didn't get the idea for this RP from, Endless Legend.
They have a lot of unique takes on 4X, like Dust as a resource, currency and also drug and magical conduit. Glassteel as a plant that grows in thick brushes and can be amchined into powerful alloys. Wizard Stones that pulsate energy and are elusve occurances. I highly encurage everyone to go to the Endless Legends Wiki and look at the races and terrain features because they are very amazing,a nd I want to amchine a similarly interesting and vivid world for all of us to play in, something especially important in these early phases and later on when people truly start exploring the world around them.
And for the last part, I'm glad to hear that! My mind is going crazy with ideas too, including designing a little app to help with managing all of these things for every player haha. But that's just a WIP, we'll see how far we can get ^^

I all seriousness, I have a lot of events prepared. My idea is that using this way of getting to know your race from the very beginning, it can develop into a more usual NRP but with players who truly appreciate and care about their races, with VAST amounts of material to work with comapred to other NRPs where you have to make up ofted thousands of years of history before you can submit your sheet.
And as for the latter, well... that hardly depends on my plans, but I am hopeful that with time a solid core will develop who can keep us gonig for months, perhaps even years. And if not, then it was still a good thought experiment ^^

@Meleck I like your race as well! I feel like out of all the people you nailed the behavior the most, but my judgement might be a bit cloudy since I've drank some alcohol for bday occasions hehe

And I know this is double posting, but I forgot you can change pages without losing the post. Been a while sicne I was here. But I didn't want to address a few things.
Once, should we make a Discord server or keep chatting here? Personally I like both, talking here brings back oldschool memories, but at the same time I'm very online on Discord.
Two, should we establish something like a google spreadsheet together for basic technologies so that we can all agree on a similar vision? And if so, then in what way. Alternatively you can all just leave it to me and your imagination ^^
And third, I'm going to a big concert thingie in 2 days as an escort to a few people (flexes)which means that I won't be able to write/work that day. So options are that I write a post tomorrow, or I write one on Thursday. I'll leave it up to you guys if we want to wait for a few more people and work out some kinks in the game until then or jump straight in while the hype is there haha

@jimapple@Odin It might be interesting to see two people be so close to each other from the beginning! I'd lvoe to see the way two different cultures evolve together in proximty! I'd say it's more narratively interesting than if you moved ^^

@Caelum Yep, absolutely! We haven't started yet, so feel free to come up with an idea and place them on the map!
@Odin I might, but in my experience it is a bit finnicky. I'll be using an SVG editor to make fully scalable maps about population and civilizations on the map, but that might take a while haha. I also plan on adding a more visually appealing topographical and biomes map once I get some time and figure out how haha
