@Kalas I'm happy you returned all the same. I can understand that might offer significant issue in responding back but it's good that you came back and let us know, even slightly belated as it was.

In any case Azhriel is still where you left him should you choose to return. We'd be happy to see you return but if you don't I understand. If you ever need a prolonged break from writing and don't wish to explain why that's fine. As long as you let us, or even just me, know then there's no harm in it.

In unrelated news I'll be about for most of the day but I'll try to get back to everyone when I return. It'll be a busy day.
She listened on but she could hardly make out what the weird lizard man was saying. She just stood, smiling with a blank stare from the eyeless darkness in her sockets.

"Ooopss, Soorry." She apologized for nearly taking the accented fellow's nose of as he put it. Her attention was grabbed back by the lizard man when a worker yelled back regarding her anchor.

"Uuhh, Yeeaahh! It's liike a hoook but the ennds are cuurvved like thiiss." She slowly gestured with both her hands making a motion indicative of an upward facing crest shape.

"Iit's got a lotta ruusst onn it laasst I checked. It's maade to haanng off a booaat, keeeps themm from flooaatinng aawaayy." She leaned forward and sideways somewhat to try and get a better look at the workers in the back to see if she could see her anchor somewhere back there. It'd suck if they lost it, the thing was older than she was and had remained a constant feature of all her adventures since the day she drowned.

Being undead immunized her to a lot of things but homesickness wasn't one of them. Little things like her old anchor helped keep her, well, anchored.
Evening everyone. Just wanted to let everyone know today I've had terrible sleep so I'm not sharp enough to put forth any degree of complex thought into things. I'll be catching up on what needs to be attended to tomorrow.
@Destro1666 - This rp is indeed still open. While new gods cannot be retroactively added to the cast at this state I can always establish events which birth new deities into the realm. If you are interested I'd be more than happy to review your CS application.
"Ooo..." Gangraena gazed up at all the boxes around them. "Thaat's a lot of booxes."

The two of them seemed to be confronted with a sort of lizard person with a sideways mouth and four eyes. She found it rather neat, not anything she saw back home... At least nothing above the shoreline.

She wondered if she should fight the creature. On one hand it could be a decent time to try out her new mace in the heat of combat. On the other hand this thing wanted to talk. It was starting to get a little confusing at this point for her.

The last clear foe she had for fighting was that multi-armed suit monster and that was only because it had weapons, she didn't and it was leaping at the little fellow who she presumed let her out. Compared to that this lizard man looked very well like he'd belong standing amongst the crowd the little masked fellow seemed to have gathered. Looking over to the accented guy for guidance she saw him start discussing his pipe with it. That meant she should... Talk with it? Yeah, she'd err on that particular side of this equation of hers.

"Heelloo Theere!" She gave a big wave with her free hand. Her hand whizzed uncomfortably close by the accented guy's face since he was standing to her right at the time. After waving she let her arm return to her side as she stepped forward a couple feet.

"Soomebody toook our stuufff. Do yoouu know where they left my geeaar? I haad an aanchoor aabout er..." She raised her hand, holding it flat as to indicate it's height. She brought the hand roughly a foot over her head.

"Aabouut this hiigh. Weeiighs just a little leess than I doo. I aalso had aarmoor. It haad a lot of plates on it, soome of theem nailed onn. It haad a lot of dents tooo."

It wasn't the best description ever given but she doubted they had a lot of spare anchors laying around. It shouldn't be so hard to find her stuff, should it?
Daisy

"And now, I'm sure you are all ready for the festivities to truly begin. But before that, we have a guest from across the great expanse of water close to our humble village. She has been looking forward to the Gray Festival and wishes to share her musical talent with us all. Now, I want all of you to give a warm welcome to the Gray Garden's very own Great Blue Sea Witch."

As announced when this realm's supposed god stepped aside there stood the main act, this... Wadonahara.

Daisy remained wary of the cloaked figures while she watched, her face a blank slate void of emotional cues. Her eyes drifted aside for the moment to see her summon was looking to her as if acknowledging a thought she held. She looked down, deep in thought.

"Yes... Perhaps after this it might be worthwhile to procure some samples from this world. Maybe an exotic tea or two wouldn't hurt either." She confessed her thoughts to Thanatos, both speaking to him and partway to herself as though thinking aloud. Being alone with her summons most of the time she found herself often sharing her insights with them from time to time. After all, they understood her wishes better than most.

She turned her attention back to the stage, coldly watching what was presumably going to be the young lady's performance.
@ZAVAZggg - I find that retroactively fitting a new character into the narrative creates a lot of issues. Having an old war where the gods all agreed to anything that isn't currently established creates a lot of assumptions which might catch a lot of players off guard and worse yet stands to create plot holes where characters behave as though something which happened never did.

There are ways I can introduce new gods into the narrative but unfortunately I can no longer make those inclusions retroactive. The longer this rp runs the less plausible it becomes that a god was around all along but was somehow unable to be involved in the events transpiring nor acknowledged by the existing cast when deciding their allegiances.

As you might see in the IC there are events where new gods can arise. The current Divine Cord being shaped is the domain of plants.

Edit: Apologies for the double post everyone. My memory can be helter-skelter at times.
@Darkmoon Angel - I shall be posting tonight. Apologies for the wait.

Edit: Post is up. Not really much to add to the current scene.
@Stabby - Yes but that largely depends on how much the Divine Cord has developed. A Divine Cord that has not developed any form of identity of it's own will largely shape itself around it's holder while one that has been a god for a long time will retain a majority of that god's traits upon transference into a mortal's possession.
@ZAVAZggg - Nope.
