@ZAVAZggg - Magic is as it has always been. All magic is, in truth, power lent by deities. What Dirka represented was an unformed power that she so lent to mortals. I see it as a type of energy that, like fire or electricity, comes with unique properties and methods of proper utilization that are largely decided by the presiding deity. The only thing that should change in this transfer from Dirka to Ahmenophus is the qualities imposed upon this morphic essence and how freely he chooses to lend it.

@Stabby - I can't answer that here since it'll be relevant in my next two posts. Do trust that I'll reveal that information soon.

@Archangel89 - Everything looks quite good. In a couple posts I'll be informing those waiting to formally enter their posts and with those pending acceptance I'll be revising the roster to omit absent deities and include all those not yet submitted.
@ZAVAZggg - Alright so I'll have you as "Could go either way" then unless you have a strong preference towards the shorter timeskip.
@ZAVAZggg - Those are ideas I've considered. I was hoping to get over the timeskip before I do anything like that so that new players could enter the world while it's stuck halfway between timelines.

@Archangel89 - You can do either. Do let me know if you're dropping any gods before I initiate the timeskip though since the fate of those no longer with us will become relevant since unexplained disappearances of gods would be a notable event in this world.

@Leotamer - A shame. I wish you luck in your future endeavors.

A note for everyone in general: As for this rp I'm also considering whether I want to do the timeskip I planned and keep things more or less the way they are or if I want to make the timeskip significantly longer and have the rp land in a more traditional high fantasy setting. The high fantasy setting would prove more stable for new players to be introduced to but on the other hand I don't want to disrupt the work done by my two newcomers in the time they've patiently waited thus far.

Hence I leave it up to my loyal roleplayers. Would you rather a short timeskip with a relatively unchanged current setting or a several thousand year long skip so the humans and gods alike have time to mold the landscape to their liking?

She stood by her conjured servant and waited for Wadanohara to start her show. While she waited her mind wandered to separate matters. While the cloaked figures had not lost her attention she found it easy to keep them in mind while contemplating other matters.

Hmm, a piano. That reminds me of the time back at school when that one student, Alder's son I believe, was eaten by the possessed grand piano in the music classroom closet.

And thus the great clock ticked ever forward.
Gangraena

Before she was able to attempt to cuddle the winged lady's wings havoc broke out as three prisoners started shanking the guards. She spun around, face alight with excitement as she bolted up from her stool and towards the incoming guards without hesitation.

"PRIISOON BRREEAAK! WOOOOOO!" Her bellow was simultaneous a celebratory cheer and a war cry which could be heard across the dining hall over the din of combat and yelling. At this point the only thing slowing her down were the chains around her ankles which threatened to trip her more than a couple times as she threw herself into the fray.

Wading into the miasma expelled by the wingless birdman she rushed in and did the first thing that came naturally to her: She reached down, grabbed a prone guard by his foot and hoisted him up by it. Being six feet tall she was just barely able to hold the guard high enough so that his head wasn't dragging against the ground. The weight of the guard was of little issue to her though. Her anchor weighted an easy one hundred and ten pounds and she was strong enough to wield it one handed with the same grace one might wield a longsword. Well, maybe not quite the same since she had to account for the fact that she only weighed a hundred and ninety pounds, adjusting her stance to account for the weight of her weapon.

In this case it wasn't an anchor but despite the guard's floppiness and struggling to escape her grip they were roughly approximate. This wasn't the first time she had picked up an opponent and used them like a flail either which was what was informing her following attack.

With gleeful abandon she took a wide swing with her hand-held guard, smashing him into the largest grouping of guards she could find. If any guards were left standing she'd knock 'em down next. If they all fell she'd go about the downed ones and punish them with a brutal overhead beat down.

She really missed this.
@Archangel89 - Of course we'll have you. As long as you let us know beforehand if you disappear again we'll understand. If you did then apologies for assuming you didn't because my memory is terrible and I can't remember either which way. I trust that you did but it's not a fact I'm able to recall.
@LuckyBlackCat - It's good. My post was after yours so you're free to go next.
@Darkmoon Angel - I shall post in the near future. Not a huge amount to say since little is happening to Daisy specifically.
As Hayim approached the merger between tree and man he looked down to him with a face that was hard to read, his branches rustling as they brushed through the tangled canopy.

"Ah, Hayim. It is good you return. Before you attempt to restore us you must speak with Udrassa, our wise woman and now the great tree. We speak through these trees and our opinions are divided."

Just as the tree being spoke it seemed Hayim's presence had not gone without notice. Even through the thick of the canopy it was impossible to ignore the motion of the great tree as it leaned ever so slightly, it's motion covering many miles just by this subtle movement alone. The trees who's branches formed the canopy above Hayim's little form bent away forming a circle in their mesh which opened the sky up to him only to reveal the truly massive face of an older woman formed in the wood. The face was so large that it could encompass a mountain.

"Hello, Hayim." The great tree Udrassa greeted him. Though her voice was powerful, carrying far thanks to her sheer size, she sounded calm and pleasant, wizened with age. Her large wooden face held a faint smile largely so as to try not to frighten the little god.

"I am Udrassa, once the wise woman of this tribe. I am now, as you can see, merged with this great tree." From high above a long, thin branch from the top of the great tree was lowered, it's tip laid just shortly before him.

"Though I would love to speak with a divine one such as yourself I am afraid there is little time. Having absorbed as much essence from that pillar of light as I have I can distantly hear the chiming. It may effect me worse but I worry you may be experiencing it far greater than I. I humbly ask you to allow us to explain ourselves, however long you may have to hear us out."

Just as she mentioned it another chime rang. Another sound born not in the air but in the mind, echoing throughout the entire world in the minds of every being in possession of a Divine Cord. Just like before this chime brought another wave of exhaustion, intensifying the feeling born of the last chime by the quantitative power of their sum. There was little to halt the fact that in only a few more chimes the urge to rest would overwhelm all will to remain awake.

Such as it was for him, such as it was for everyone.

The palace beckoned.

@Duoya - Excellent post. Unless there's anyone waiting on anything else I'll have the next update either tonight or tomorrow at the latest.
